The breaktfast in the executive lounge was nice. Would be great to have more egg options like omelettes. The room service is really nice with lots of options. The security staff (my background is security for the past 35 years) were great and professional. I commended them several times on their attention to detail and professionalism. IN the Executive Lounge: Lorraine, Gertrude and the staff were absolutely fantastic. Akosoua (Lady in Red) and Charity with Emelia and the reception to great care of me during the stay as did Nelson. Really a Top Notch team!

I have zero complaints.

The staff and amenities are absolutely 5 stars. The facility itself is 3.5 stars, and the breakfast has a lot of good options. The concierge staff is an amazing group of individuals. They give excellent t service! The entire front desk staff were kind, knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be.

The rooms need a refresh. They are current dark and damp. The hallways stink of mold and mildew. Exhaust fans should be added to the bathroom to remove the moisture in the air. The restaurants and bars have not had the proper culinary training to match the 5 star rating. The restaurants would be rated 2 at best. The staff are kind and extremely helpful but they cater more to the European clients.

check-in cost much longer than expected, changed the room twice, but both have wired smell in the rooms the taxi called by the hotel is more than doubled price than it shoudl be by UBER the sound proof of the room is bad the breakfast dining hall could be extreamly noisy with running kids, and it happened 2-3 days during my stay

Customer service was exceptional. The food was AMAZING! The spa treatment and facilities divine. It was so good I slept during my treatment and I was left to sleep in for a bit. I booked this hotel as a treat to myself for my birthday and I just put a message letting them know I would be spending the time by myself and it would be nice if I am made to feel special and they did not DISAPPOINT! I had a very warm welcome by the staff with a welcome drink and in my room I was surprised with cake, fruit basket, champagne, my room decorated etc and on my birthday the had the staff sing to me with cake presented during breakfast. I honestly cried really exceeded my expectations. They really do know how to look after their customers, all the staff members were welcoming and knew me by name. I was called the birthday girl throughout my stay. Thank you so so much. I would definitely come back again!

Something happened that I think I would like to take up with the hotel person as a lessons learned.

The Kempinski Hotel exceeded all my expectations, providing a royal experience from the moment their airport shuttle picked me up to when it returned me to the airport. Their services, food, and customer service were unparalleled. Throughout my week-long stay, every staff member, including those from the Lady in Red service, room service, laundry service, poolside, drivers, porters, greeters, security, dining room, and front desk, displayed top-notch professionalism. It was the perfect stay for my first visit to Ghana. While all interactions with the staff were exceptional, a few individuals truly stood out: Shuttle Drivers: - Hamza: I was all set and waiting at the airport when I arrived in Accra. I didn't have to lift a finger; Hamza cared for everything. He shared valuable information throughout my ride to the hotel and was incredibly informative! Thank you, Hamza, for your hospitality and welcoming me on my first visit to Africa! - Noah: On my return trip to the airport, Noah's exceptional help and kindness in handling my heavy bags and ensuring my comfort while waiting were greatly appreciated. Thank you, Noah, for going above and beyond; I enjoyed it! Dining Staff: - Daniel: He provided valuable recommendations and checked on me during my dining experience, offering empathy and care. Thank you, Daniel, for caring and making my first and last visit to the dining room a pleasant experience! - Richard: Attentive and accomplished, Richard even arranged a birthday cake for me, making my birthday trip memorable. Thank you, Richard, for your thoughtfulness and remembering to make my birthday memorable! - Beverly: Beyond her duties, Beverly offered hair product recommendations and assistance, ensuring I looked my best during my stay. Thank you, Beverly, for exceeding your responsibilities to assist me with my hairstyle needs. Your knowledge will prove to be invaluable throughout my stay in Ghana!

My only suggestion would be for the hotel to sell those lovely branded bathrobes. 😊

Shuttle Pick up/drop off from airport was very convenient with attentive friendly driver First impressions are everything and this hotel does not miss! Ada in red dress was super at getting us sorted for tours etc Roz the manager was very attentive and friendly - fruit and water in rooms was appreciated!! Singer in the bar lounge on Friday/Sat night was super talented and amazing! (28 April/5 May). Nice touch having live music on weekends Lots of places to chill/work remotely/hang out on property outside of your room Pool was so nice and good to have lifeguard always on duty. Pool bar service was excellent and cabanas were a great touch Mavis in the Restaurant was AWESOME every day and at every meal time that she was there. Made us feel very welcome with her warm smile and pleasant personality. Great menu options for all preferences/allergies etc with local dishes. Loved the Prosecco with breakfast!! Augustina in the Spa has magic hands!! I had to go back twice. The Spa is so calming and has every amenity - sauna/steam room/relaxation room. I didn't want to leave! I WILL BE BACK and have already recommended to friends. Kobby taxi driver took us on tours - he was recommended by the hotel concierge and he is amazing, attentive and made us feel safe giving us an authentic experience which was important on our first visit to Ghana Mama Africa has store across the street from hotel entrance which was very convenient for local shopping as she had some lovely items and souvenirs. Her customer service is 100% Extended check out was also accommodated which was nice as we got to enjoy amenities like a late spa appointment before boarding an international flight The security team there is top notch! They made us feel safe but were not intrusive. I would definitely return again as a solo traveler

I didn't have a bath tub!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Kempiski, we all loved the experience and it will be our No. 1 choice for hotel anytime we are in Accra. Breakfast came with several options, pool was very good and clean, the staff were very hospitable, the complimentary airport pick up and drop off was a relieving idea. Thumbs up to Kempiski Hotel.

There is an art work at the Breakfast area (Papillon) with the inscription "Heaven can wait 6", first heaven cannot wait for anyone, second and most crucial is that it has obscene and immoral images which are not appropriate especially for a place where little children will be brought to have breakfast. This feedback has been given to the "Lady in Red" at the front desk and I hope the hotel will notify me soon that the art work has been removed. Also there should a children friendly gym for children under 16 to make it a 100% family friendly hotel.

Excellent international multi choice breakfast to fulfil most palettes. The staff are kind, smiley and efficient. Hotel front- desk manager was present and approachable going out of his way to ensure customer relations was met satisfactorily. The hotel is modern and chic. The pool area is divine with a well designed large pool. Glad we stayed here, ended up extending our stay for 7 nights.

Christian who checked me really made sure I was OK. Because a group booking came in he made sure he took his time to book me in Frank at the restaurant was the sweetest give this guys a pay rise! Excellent And the lovely friendly gentleman who cleaned the room on the 6th floor. Lovely .

The check was crazy because of the group that had just arrived and it just felt over whelming. The ladies from security In the car pack...they were more interested in chatting to each other than helping. Which was a shame

Unpredictable housekeeping. One night they took all the used towels and didn’t replace them. Was quite frustrating apparently
