We chose this accommodation because it's dog friendly and it had good reviews and it was a great choice. We have travelled a lot around Europe with our little dog and without doubt this has been by far the best stay and the best city to travel with her. She was welcomed everywhere we went, so for everyone hesitating to visit Athens with a pet, please go ahead! The best of the hotel from my point of view, was the kindness of the staff (especially the buffet manager, Christoforos) and the quality and variety of typical food for breakfast (buffet-brunch). And it's also well located. The rooms are not super big but for us it was fine and they have a Nespresso machine refilled with the coffee capsules every day which is an extra point.

The hotel staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. The bed is very comfortable, and the facilities, including the gym, bar, and pool, are fantastic. The location is perfect. We had to extend my stay for an extra night due to a flight cancellation, and the staff went above and beyond to assist me.

Very clean , neat and comfy hotel and rooms… room space was adequate…bed and pillows super comfy and gave me the rest I needed after long day of roaming around the city. Reception and specially to call out ( Dimitri) was extremely helpful and helped to get us the room ready and facilitated early check which was of a great help to us! He was as well planning our day trips and arranging Taxis for us… Daily cleanup of the room and security was a plus… the location is a hidden gem close to all attractions of the city minutes literally away from Palaka and main shopping center and acropolis. If I would visit Athens again I will definitely choose the same hotel again.

Our family of 6 adults stayed for 4 nights and loved staying at Hotel Anise. We asked the hotel to arrange transport from the airport- this worked perfectly. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and and this was maintained throughout our stay. The fridge in the room was useful and there were bottles of water and a coffee pod machine which were replenished. The bathroom was modern and well equipped with quality class shower/hair products. The breakfast room was decorated with a cool vibe and food was plentiful and varied for all types of dietary requirements. All staff were friendly and helpful. We loved Christofferson, one of the staff on duty for much of our stay and the door security were chatty and friendly too. We were staying with our 4 adult 'children' and they all loved their rooms and how friendly and welcoming all staff members were. The hotel were very good in replying to messages or queries. Location was great for walking to all attractions. We did not use the metro as we walked everywhere. Although the immediate area was not polished, we felt safe. There were local interesting shops and within a very short walk there were cafes and restaurants with plenty of choice for all palates. If we visit Athens again, we would stay here again.

A quick overnight after a cruise, We were let into the room xtra early, which was great as the cruise ship disembarked us at 7:30 am. We had a beautiful full day with a gorgeous and fantastic lunch on the rooftop deck. The pool is fantastic with the glass bottom you can see 5 stories below. Our only disappointment was our international flight back to the states was early, they unconditionally do not open breakfast until 7:30, it looked amazing.

The rooftop dining is a huge win! The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very kind.

Very stylish compact hotel in a superb location. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Buffet breakfast was fabulous with a huge variety of choice available and two chefs on hand to keep everything freshly topped up. Lots of little extras in the room was a nice touch. The location is really convenient if arriving by metro from Athens International Airport and for easy strolling to all of the main tourist attractions. We found great bars, cafes and restaurants within an easy 10 minute walk. The hotel has only been open for 3 months, and I'm sure it will be very successful.

The fancy coffee machine and dinky cups in the room only dispensed espresso. We would have preferred to have a kettle.

Absolutely amazing hotel within a walking distance to all major landmarks. The staff were remarkably genuine and helpful, without an exception! The breakfast spread was fabulous. I will definitely stay again!

I struggled to adjust the position of the bedside lamp; but it was not a big deal, considering all the positives offered by this hotel. Also, the pool water was quite cold, but not the hotel's fault - only to be expected at the end of October... I am sure during the summer time the pool is amazing :)

Lovely industrial styled boutique hotel, spotlessly clean,in a great vibrant location of Athens. Staff so helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious - what a display. Small rooftop pool for a swim. Located in a great authentic location, with so many bars and restaurants nearby, do try Kastellorizios Georgios on the corner by the hotel - looks nothing from the outside but the food is amazing. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Superb breakfast, with a variety of delicious food. Great location at Psiri, a cool area in central Athens. Attentive staff and clean rooms and facilities. Comfortable beds.

It is an old apartments building renovated fully and converted to a hotel. The rooms are very big but with somewhat low ceilings, and a different arrangement (no closet, for example).

The staff was amazing, welcoming us with Prosecco , and attending us in the best way over our stay! Location is great walking distance to all attraction, restaurant and rooftops.

One thing to do better would be for the cleaning staff, on Saturday they left a cleaning product in our room and on Sunday we found some medicine for runny nose and a pen on the desk next to my partner clothes that could have stained it.
