My stay was absolutely amazing! The panoramic view from the room was breathtaking, and the hot breakfast served right to my room every morning was a perfect way to start the day. The service was truly outstanding — every staff member was so kind, welcoming, and always had a smile on their face. They were always ready to help with anything I needed. Room service was also fantastic — I highly recommend trying the chicken tagliatelle, it was delicious! Overall, it’s a solid 10/10 experience, and I honestly can’t wait to come back soon!

The most breathtaking views the best sunsets of Chania the staff went above and beyond expectations, breakfast was wow, we would like to mention Vasa Xrisa who were at the reception they were so kind and helpful throughout our stay even arranged a treatment for me with Maria the beauty therapist which is a must if you go to this hotel the treatments are exceptional especially by Maria also Zak Dimidris who delivered breakfast and was at the bar and a special mention to Georgia (yoryia) who was our cleaner she was amazing at cleaning our room and one occasion left us beautiful flowers in a glass for us it’s those little things you remember So thank you each and everyone of you at the Lagon hotel we will be back again outstanding service a must hotel whilst in Chania.

I wouldn’t say we didn’t like was the pool being so cold as the weather end of October wasn’t as warm so pool didn’t get much sun so couldn’t get heated suggested staff in the future to heat pool but 5 months of the year they are closed so completely understand why not able to heat pools also location a little away from Chania town walking takes about 45 minutes but great walk, or you can catch the number 18 bus which only cost 2 euros there and 2 euros back which we used half way through our stay or taxis which were 10 euros there and 10 back that was another option.

The room was beautiful with a great view. We loved our private swimming pool! The included breakfast had many different options, all of which were delicious. Each day we were given a menu and checked the items we wanted delivered to our room the next day. The first day we checked a large number of items because they all sounded so delicious! But when they were delivered, we realized we had over-ordered - there was so much food! After the first day, we were more discerning. We also were very impressed with the staff. Everyone was very cheerful and accommodating and super friendly! In my photos of the property, I included one of Chris, the receptionist and Zach the very creative bar tender. We loved gettingn to know them.

It would have been nice to be closer to the Town Center, but then we wouldn't have had the beautiful view! I really can't think of anything I did not like.

We stayed here for our 30th Wedding Anniversary in Sept 2024. The location, accommodation, staff, breakfast, drinks, evening meals, were all superb. We loved it here and would definitely recommend. The attention to detail is evident everywhere you look. The staff, in particular, Chris on reception, are incredibly helpful and friendly. To acknowledge our anniversary, our breakfast arrived on a love-heart shaped floating tray to sit in the swimming pool. We both had 2 Spa treatments each and the therapist was excellent on each treatment. There is a small gym that we used almost daily. The private pools and views are stunning. The perfect retreat to relax and unwind which is exactly what we wanted.

Great room with infinity pool with a beautiful view overlooking Chania Bay and sunsets. The room was spacious (we could have both suitcases open). The bed was big and a bit firm, but that is how we prefer it. All the amenities were present: nespresso machine, little fridge, plugs, block out curtain. I liked that the toilet was separate from the rest. At the wash basin, there was plenty of space for your toiletries. The service of the staff was great. Having our breakfast at our room was really nice. We are now spoiled for life!

The parking can be a bit difficult to get out of.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lagon boutique hotel and it was truly a luxurious and rejuvenating experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the bright and spacious accommodation that was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we could ask for. One of the highlights of our stay was the private plunge pool on our balcony, where we could relax and take in the stunning views over the old city of Chania. It was truly a magical experience to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset from our own little oasis. The food at the hotel was also exceptional, with a delicious breakfast served in our room each morning. We also had the opportunity to dine at the hotel's restaurant and were blown away by the quality of the cuisine. The gym, indoor pool, and spa facilities were also top-notch and allowed us to stay active and pampered during our stay. Overall, our trip to this modern spa hotel in Chania was everything we had hoped for and more. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready to plan our next visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience in chania.

The views from our balcony were exceptional. We ended up not going out to town most nights just because we wanted to spend time in our private pool watching the sunset colors. Having a delicious "a la carte" breakfast delivered to our balcony every morning made us feel extra special. The hotel staff deserves a special mention - they were all outstanding, friendly and efficient, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Even when my husband forgot his sunglasses in a cab they managed to locate the taxi and get them returned! Extra bonus points! Highly recommend.

Me and the hubby spent our days playing a game: let's try and find things to complain about this hotel: - cicadas in the neighborhood were too loud - sunset took place at the same time everyday, a more accommodating schedule would have been appreciated - view didn't seem to change much, it was the same every day - staff was far too helpful

Exceptional views, great room, spotless and very comfortable. Staff were very attentive and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and all the food from the restaurant was of a high standard. Spa was beautiful and treatments were reasonably priced and I had a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and although we didn’t have a hire car, we used the bus and taxi services to commute between the hotel and Chania town. All in all a great experience with sunsets and sunrises to die for.

Balcony was a little cramped and we couldn’t get any shade from the sun from around 11am to 7pm, even when in the pool it was just too hot to bear sitting out there.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A big thank you specifically to Chris, Vaso and Evi for their warm welcome, their generosity and their help in planning our visit of the island. The breakfast was delicious and the portions were very generous. We very much appreciated enjoying our breakfast in our room or next to our private pool with a wonderful view of the port and the old town. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We were also touched by the champagne bottle and the massage session that were offered to us by the hotel as a honeymoon gift. We also wanted to thank Maria Manaroli for the wonderful massage and for her professionalism. In a nutshell, our stay couldn't have been any better and we would surely come back on our next visit of Chania.

What a special little place! If you read no further, all you need to know is we are super particular and this has the highest rating of all the hotels we stayed at. Our arriving flight was delayed for just over two hours, meaning that an already late arrival became a midnight check in. We messaged the hotel just before we took off to let them know and to ask if there would be someone available to receive us. We received a message back from the hotel within 2 minutes, telling us there would absolutely be someone at reception and it was no issues, so no need to rush or stress. On (late) arrival, we were greeted by a beautiful crisp, clean and very new hotel. First impressions were very good. On arrival at the reception, the gentlemen was expecting us, knew our name and had everything ready. Knowing we had a little arduous journey, had offered to take us straight to our room, or would happily make us a drink. We decided to have a drink. As we found with all the staff, they pitched the conversation perfectly. Not intrusive, but interested and always incredibly happy and smiling. We arrived in our room. We booked the Ambassador room with sea view. It was special in every way. New, crisp, well decorated, smelling amazing. A wonderful view over Chania. We realised we had also been gifted a lovely bottle of fizz, so sat and enjoyed the wonderful view. Breakfast is served in the room. Just call in the morning when ready and it is brought to you. It, like everything about this hotel was very very good. Fresh, great selection and lots of it! We treated ourselves to two spa treatments. These were excellent, professional and very relaxing. We found the price to be very reasonable, especially considering the professionalism and quality. The main event at this hotel is the staff. They are very lovely people. We have never stayed at a hotel where we had been made to feel so welcome and not just a guest.
