I would give this hotel a ten out of ten! I booked this hotel a year before our trip and when I saw the pictures online I was blown away! It is even better in person than it is online! I couldn't stop taking pictures of the place! It is extraordinary! The staff is exceptional as well! When we arrived, the concierge had walked to meet us at the drop off location, to ensure that we could find our way back to the hotel! What hotels do this? When we were leaving, the female concierge again walked with us, to show us where to meet our driver! (the streets are very narrow in the Chania and cars/taxis cannot fit down every street). Chania itself is an extremely beautiful old city with loads of charm! There are only seven rooms in this hotel and it has been lovingly restored to the highest of standards! The rooms are palatial with vaulted ceilings and they are exceptionally clean! The breakfast was a full breakfast, with a menu etc. and it was free! The location is perfect as it's right in the heart of the city. So all in all, there's a reason it's rated #1 on Trip Advisor for hotels in Chania. It was one of the prettiest hotels I have ever stayed in!

Would not change a thing! Every one of the people that work there are exceptional and the hotel is gorgeous!

Lovely feel, tasteful, simple, very comfortable accommodation, warm & personable staff, excellent breakfast, we slept well, location soooo central in old town. Big room (superior suite) was perfect for us.

A shame their restaurant no longer operating apart from the excellent breakfasts. Also would’ve been good to have had more leisure areas suitable for, for example, settling down to get your nose into a good book.

The hotel is very centrally located in the old town, pedestrian area near the marina, shops and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious, lots of it and lots of choice. There is a really nice feel to the hotel, very restful and quiet away from the busy streets.

We experienced a bit of noise from other guests (not the hotel's fault) and we missed having a mirror in the bedroom (in addition to the one in the bathroom).

The location was great, close to the harbor and a variety of restaurants. The breakfast was great as was the service.

It would have been nice if the restaurant had been open, but then I understand the issue which was left over from the COVID shutdown.

Great location in the heart of old town. Great service including a great breakfast every morning. The rooms was spacious and very comfortable. Chania is a great tourist town - clean, great things to see, and not overcrowded. Will definitely be back.

Nothing - we were completely satisfied.

We stayed in a suite for our honeymoon - beautiful courtyard and room, bathroom has a great shower and nice toiletries provided. Staff super friendly. Easy to get to the harbour for sightseeing or even walk to the city centre (New Town?). The restaurant Tamam is just around the corner. Would love to return someday.

Tbh this was not a problem for us, but the hotel only seems to have steps (as far as we saw) so it’s just something to note if you have mobility issues and/or a lot of luggage.

We stayed in a superior room with terrace (room 6). The room was beautifully decorated and faultless, very comfortable with a nice terrace and additional small balcony. I also enjoyed relaxing in the large bath tub with Molton Brown toiletries (a taste of home!) The breakfast was delicious and location of the property absolutely perfect for exploring the old town.

Perhaps more expensive than other hotels in the area, but was worth the money in my opinion. Thank you for a great stay!

we liked everything about this property! excellent location in the heart of old town, but away from the harbour just enough for some peace and quiet. exceptional customer service- probably the best I’ve ever had. we stayed in the superior split level suite for 4 nights. wonderful breakfast as well.

Breakfast was extremely delicious. Blackout curtains were great. Location is so close to the harbor, restaurants, shopping. The hotel is extremely clean, which is a top priority for me. Also, The staff was really helpful in getting us a rental car at the last minute. Very friendly service. Dmitri met us as we walked in from the reserved car which picked us up at the airport. Please note that this is not a handicap friendly set up. The area where the hotel is located is pedestrian only so you will have to walk in with your own bags from outside the Old Town. If you have a lot of large bags this could be a real problem. Also only access to rooms is via stairs. We received great assistance from the staff in meeting all our needs and that made our stay especially nice.

In a junior suite it would have been nice to have 2 chairs that you could actually sit in and relax. There was only one. Also the bathtub/ shower arrangement in our room (no shower curtain, tight space for rain shower head) caused a flood on the bathroom floor every time we used it.

A top class hotel. We really enjoyed our visit. Facilities were perfect, breakfast delicious, very convenient location and staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to visit Chania.
