The perfect location to explore the Old Town. A beautiful big room. The whole place has obviously been renovated beautifully in recent years. Great wardrobe to unpack properly, it's the perfect place if you were in Chania for several nights. Nice comfy bed with decent pillows! And the staff were all friendly and helpful, especially the lovely lady who looks after breakfast! There is a great little continental buffet plus she will make you an omelette or anything else you might like. Thorough room cleaning every day with new towels etc. And we were able to leave our bags while we explored the town for a few more hours after we checked out.

The shower is a little quirky but that is standard for hotel rooms especially in Greece I think! Water pressure was good and it got hot quickly so I would happily use it again anyway! But if you were a very large person you might not like it.

The location is really amazing. We had a room with a little view of the harbor but there was a patio located next to us that opened up even better views. Giorgos was really friendly and willing to help in any way. He was waiting for us when we arrived and provided us with all the info we needed. Breakfast was great, despite some communication issues once or twice. You do have to walk about 6 min from the taxi drop off to the hotel but we didn’t find it an issue at all. The bed wasn’t super comfy but we got some decent rest. The walls are kind of thin so you do hear what goes on in the hallway and a little from the room next door. The noise from the busy restaurant downstairs was easy to drown out with our noise machine but I would imagine when high season starts it will be a little noisier

The walls are thin and the hallways echoed so it could be an issue for someone who needs quiet to sleep

The location was absolutely amazing - at the heart of the old town, a stone's throw away from the Venetian Harbor; there is also a lovely terrace on the upper floor with a sea view, and it was a wonderful place to finish off the evening. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel itself but at the restaurant next door (Enetikon), and it was some of the tastiest food we've had in Crete - everything was absolutely delicious! The room was on the smaller side but well organized; the bed was comfy and everything worked well. The staff was also very friendly!

The downside of the hotel's location in the Old Town is that it is not accessible by car, so that can be an inconvenience with heavy luggage. That wasn't particularly a problem for us (and the hotel is not at fault), but the information may be useful for some other guests.

Amazing location right in old Chania - 30 meters from the harbour, tons of restaurants/bars/cafes/shops around to wander in the pedestrian area. The room was gorgeous and had a private hot tub for use. It's decked around so no view of harbour, but the privacy is so nice. Also that's as advertised, so no issues there. You can also see the mountains behind. Beautifully decorated spacious room with day bed, big bed, coffee maker, small fridge and stove (which we didn't use). Lovely style; felt quite romantic. The staff were very helpful and kind. There is a small elevator behind check-in. The lady also helped us arrange a taxi to the airport when we left which put our minds at ease. We would absolutely stay here again - and in Chania in general. There is also a cute veranda to use on the 3rd floor with harbour view for your coffee.

Everything was great! Only hard part was figuring out how to best use the hot tub (turning it off when sleeping, how long to allow it to warm up) and not sure what chemicals they use but perhaps it's just not what we're used to which makes sense.

Palazzo Duca is just off the main promanade in Chania Old Town, very close to the port and resturants, but off on a side street so it is quiet. Very quaint room with small balacony where you could see the sea. The resturant is next door for an excellent breakfast, in fact we also had some lunches and dinner there too! Taxi's drop you off a short walk away as taxi's are not allowed in the old centre (so check details carefully if you have mobility issues). Check in was easy and likewise check out. They hotel kindly held our suitcases for us until the evening when we got a taxi to the airport.

The hotel is charming and historic but comfortable. It is steps from the port and is close to everything in the old town Staff were very caring and went out of their way to facilitate our hike in the Samaria Gorge. The breakfast was very pleasant, with excellent choices including local pastries and dishes. Excellent espresso. We loved this hotel.

I really cannot think of anything that could have been better.

The location is excellent, just one small block away from the harbour front. Staff were friendly and helpful, gave us clear instructions in advance about gaining access late as our flight arrived late in the evening. Our room was classed as a "small double" but was perfectly adequate for our three night stay.

A minor point but breakfast was provided in the taverna next door. Good food and friendly service, but perhaps not the flexibility you would expect at a hotel buffet.

Location, breakfast next door (try the Cretan meal), 3rd floor balconies (both from the room and the large shared one). The staff were also really helpful with our late check in and early check out. Mini kitchenette in the room was really handy too

Street noise was a little loud, but we were there for the better part of a week and only noticed once. Most of the time it was pretty quiet

The hotel is in a perfect location. Many of the rooms have balconies from which you can see the picturesque harbor. There is also an outdoor terrace on the top floor. It is close to all the restaurants & shops, as well. A great value for the money!!

The reception desk is not always manned. We were there in the off season so maybe that was the reason.

Well located and super clean. Beautifully renovated. Owners take pride in the property.

The property was great. I’d stay there again. Did not like Chania as much as I thought. Very touristy, hot, overpriced food and distances between sights require too much time in the car. Would not return to the town.
