What a remarkable experience. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The hotel sits directly on a beautiful beach but is also surrounded by countless tavernas, markets and shops. So you can choose to chill out at the beach or eat out, shop, etc. It's about a 15 minute drive to the charming Venetian port in Chania if you want to visit the old town. What I so loved about this hotel was that it was small, so you could get to know the people and each person that works there is wonderful. A beautiful staff that is very professional and works as a true team. No request is too difficult and they perform their jobs always with a kind smile. They make everything look effortless. When I arrived they upgraded my room just to be kind. Such a lovely gesture and I so appreciated it. My room was beautiful and the view was amazing. They have a spa and a sauna too. I took the sauna just before bedtime and slept like a rock. Breakfasts were wonderful with a wide variety of freshly prepared food to choose from, and could be taken directly on the beach if you wished. What a warm, wonderful place to spend my vacation. It really felt like a home away from home. If you are looking at different places, and you are not sure where to book, stop looking and book here. You won't regret it.

Nothing to do with the hotel but if I had to split hairs I thought that the establishment that rents canoes, paddle boats near to the hotel could sometimes get a little loud. But if it bothers you it really isn't a problem as the beach is long and wide and you can just move on to the adjoining beach. Walking the beach in the morning in fact was a real pleasure and it was fun to find new places to swim.

A very comfortable and friendly hotel right on the beach. We went in off-season and the hotel upgraded us to seafront bigger rooms which we really appreciated. The rooms are new and there are several family suites. Excellent breakfast and friendly food/drink service on the beach. An important detail is that this side of the Agia Marina beach is wide and sandy, while the beach a bit further away from Chania becomes rocky and uncomfortable for swimming. Don't miss Chania, it is a wonderful town, and the public bus runs frequently right in front of the hotel (30 min ride). Overall, highly recommended. I would come back, although I imagine in the summer it gets really crowded.

The hotel's prime beachfront location was the highlight, and having excellent restaurants within walking distance added to the convenience. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast and free parking, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, contributing to our overall positive experience.

Our room was situated right next to a bustling street, making it noisy throughout our stay. Additionally, the soundproofing left much to be desired, as we could hear every sound from the neighboring rooms, from the scraping of chairs to slamming doors. Considering the relatively high price tag compared to other four-star rated hotels, we expected a quieter and more peaceful experience.

We came for one week and had the best time. The hotel location is perfect with everything you need within walking distance. The staff were incredible and provided the best service, especially Agelos! They went out of their way to provide excellent restaurant recommendations and places to visit (must try Rustic Garden & Mitsos!). Its a great family run hotel who all go out of their way to provide the best service to customers and we will definitely be back some day as a result. The rooms were stunning, facilities excellent and the food/drinks were great value for money - especially the breakfast. I would recommend coming here to anyone who is looking to relax and be treated like royalty! We will miss Vergina but will be back :) Thanks to Angelos and the team for a great trip.

Nothing - we wish we stayed longer!

Where to start?! What a fabulous boutique hotel! Perfectly located on a beautiful sandy beach, clean, well appointed & stylish rooms, double glazing on the windows, comfortable beds, wonderful friendly kind staff, great bar menu, breakfast options, excellent coffee!, fresh juices and cocktails. I did not want to leave. One of the best places I have stayed over the last two months of traveling Europe. Thank you to the beautiful staff at Vergina Beach Hotel for making my stay so memorable.

That I had to leave!!

A remarkable place. Absolutely wonderful 4 nights. We booked just a week in advance due to some forced changes in travel plans, hence the short stay (hotel was fully booked on some of the days) and also why we ended up with the last and "smallest" of their rooms (which by the way was exceptional!). The hotel backs onto a stretch of beach, which offers fantastic swimming, soft sand and sunbeds (with optional shade, luckily) that are exclusively for guests and free of charge. The pool is amazing and the restaurant overlooks the beach. They serve huge, amazing breakfasts and great lunch and dinner options that you can even order to the sand so as not to break your tanning regime! The local area is a short hop to Chania centre and is plastered with amenities and great eateries, our favourite of which was Rustic Garden (check it out!). Chania Airport to Hotel transfer was c.38eur for a taxi which is good value since we packed plenty and it is roughly 35min by car. Buses run to the centre for only a couple of euros but you probably won't want to leave the hotel much, and that's coming from people who aren't typically beach bums! Finally, it might be cliché to say but the staff are utterly exceptional. All of them. They're attentive but not intrusive, they're friendly but not fake, and they're hard working but never too busy. They bring an ethos of "no worries" regardless of your request. Checking out but want to stay at the beach for the day? No worries. Money left in your room and want to pay for those drinks when you check out? No worries. Swap half the ingredients in the breakfast due to dietary needs? No worries! Want to take your beer to the pool? No worries. We were a couple but I'd say this is also a perfect resort to bring kids or come with a couple of friends for a quiet retreat. Overall, it was utterly brilliant. 10 / 10 doesn't even do it justice!

It’s an astonishing 4 stars hotel. Great location with its private access to the beach in Agia Marina. Parking for your car, free sun beds, swimming pool, bar on the beach, it has it all. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and cocktails come at a reasonable price. 10€ for cocktails or breakfast for example. Only 20 min drive to Chania and 35 to the airport. 50 min to Falassarna where you can embark on a speedboat tour to Balos beach. The staff’s attention to detail is something rare to see : room upgrade for our honeymoon, late checkout on demand, gift on leaving. We had a great time.

Nothing as it was perfect

Vergina Beach Hotel is a fabulous place! They upgraded my room, so I stayed in a beautiful room with a view over the pool, the sea and Theo Island. There's a plunge pool/jacuzzy on my terrace, I could enjoy both the magical sunset and the sunrise from there. The hotel is perfectly clean and modern, situated right on the sandy beach. I had dinner in the beach bar, the food was delicious and home-made. They offer various menus for breakfast ( English, Greek, Fitness, etc. ), but the best one is "Granny's breakfast'. Don't miss it! The hotel has saunas and jacuzzies, too, and a lovely swimming-pool with glass walls, so you can see the sea from there, too. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, they paid attention to the guests all the time very politely. I got some nice "good-by presents" at check-out. All in all, the location, the view, the beach, the pool, the food and the hospitality of the staff made my stay at Vergina unforgettable. I will definitely come back next summer.

Great beachfront location right in the center of Agia Marina. Modern room. Comfortable bed. Loved the in room bathtub with view. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Housekeeping did a nice job. Free parking. Free beachfront loungers. They also gave us a free, delicious breakfast daily which was great value for the money. Lots of restaurants in the area

Small bathroom. Obstructed view room and it was a bit expensive for what it was. Lots of stairs if you are elderly and have mobility issues. Spa facilities were minimal and sparse. Had to ask to have jacuzzi and steam room heated ahead of time. The area is noisy and a bit congested. Not as peaceful as I would have hoped.
