Everything was lovely in Tholos. Spacious, spotless room with beautiful views from the balcony, excellent hospitality and care of all staff members, and amazingly delicious food. AC works great too and so does the wifi. Couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommended, great value for money. Also, there are two friendly small dogs at the property and the beach is close by. I hope to return soon!

The room we stayed in had everything as expected. Our room had nice views and the hosts were very helpful. It’s a 15min walk to the village where you can find a couple of cafes/restaurants. Tholos Beach was one of the nicest beaches of our stay, so the location is superb, especially if you prefer peace and quiet away from the touristy spots. We really feel like we got an authentic Cretan experience staying here.

The mattresses on the beds felt like they could be in need of an upgrade, but other than that everything was perfect.

I loved this place. Such a nice view from balcony and so peaceful and quiet. Spacious and comfortable room. Nice family owned place with good restaurant. Room had fridge , however no kettle but in the Kavousi village are 2 cafes for good morning coffee. Good wifi for such a remote place. Its a great place for walks in mountains or one can walk the road down to Tholos Beach

Very quiet. No one bothers you unless when being helpful to your requests. Absolute silence ...you can fully relax. There is a dining area .. you can see foid being cooked in the wood burning oven.

Location is out and away from town! The views of the mountains and olive groves coupled with the smell of the wood stove heating up for dinner tickled all the senses. The taverna served some flavorful food, all locally sourced. I ate briam made from the elders recipe!

Great location. Very beautiful surroundings. The host and staff made you feel like family. Will definitely book Tholos Rooms again.

Beds could be a little softer but definitely was able to get a full night's sleep.

Located off the main road and surrounded by olive trees, so it is quiet and has its charms.

The shower curtain was about 20cm too short and so water splashed all over the bathroom floor.

Everything was extremely clean in the property, including the amazing taverna just under the rooms. Sir John is really a unique guy and is there to assist you with everything in the evening hours. The food in the picturesque taverna was amazing!!! Concluding, id like to add that the rooms have an amazing view !!!! We will return to taste the amazing pizza of sir John!!!

The windows in the rooms have curtains only. This means early morning wake up, which may not be a really bad thing after all.

I only book pet friendly hotels. This is my no 1 priority! The scenery was stunning, and we had an excellent meal in the restaurant.

Only negative and it was a very small one, there was a language barrier, which is unusual for English.

Good location. Great views of olive groves and sea views. Service and Hospitality are its best. Very clean
