We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's family run, and we received a friendly welcome in English. The rooms are very well decorated and the whole hotel is exceptionally clean. We were tired and decided to eat from the 'snack' menu at the hotel. The food was really substantial and tasty. If you are passing this way, I really recommend staying here. The rooms are excellent value for the quality of the decor. The hotel is convenient for the main road but it is well insulated and you don't hear any noise.

A modern and well-maintained hotel in a quiet location on the outskirts of the town in the middle of cotton plantations. We used it to sleep one night and for another trip around Greece. Pella, where Alexander the Great was born, was only 10 minutes away by car. The room was also comfortable with a large balcony and seating area. Outdoor restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. The reception lady was nice, she provided the necessary information for visiting the town. Convenient and safe parking in the hotel courtyard.

There was a smell of cigarette smoke upon entering the room. It was very uncomfortable for us non-smokers. It was the first time on our many trips. When ordering, I recommend requesting a non-smoking room.

The Fillipos Hotel is a very clean and comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. It is great value for money. While there is not much around the hotel itself (the restaurant was closed while I stayed there, though the hotel bar did offer some limited bar snack type food), the town of Halkidona is just 5 minutes drive away and has a reasonable choice of shops, restaurants and cafes. The town of Pella and its Archaeological Museum with its Archaeological Site (the main reason why most people would stay at the Filippos, I'm sure, since there are very few accommodation options in Pella itself) is about 15 to 20 minutes' drive away.

Although not ideally located, considering that there are very few other accommodation options, and the fact that Filippos Hotel is very clean, comfortable and excellent value-for-money, I have no complaints whatsoever!

Good looking room, we could tell it was recently renovated. The bathroom was the biggest surprise - we stayed here last year as well, and the bathroom was clearly outdated. But this year, the bathroom was completely remodeled and it gave a fresh breath of air to the entire room.

If you stay on the front-facing side, you risk having noisy people at the bar downstairs. However, we closed the balcony door and the noise level was better.

We stayed for the night on our way to Lefkada. The location was perfect for us, as we didn’t stray much from our route. It’s not far from the highway, it’s easy to find, right on the main road, yet it was very quiet and it turned out to be a great place for resting. The room itself was very spacious, extremely clean and well-maintained, with a comfy bed. The hotel offers a large private parking, as well as a restaurant, where one can have a nice breakfast. Although our stay was a short one, we can only recommend the place, as it exceeded our expectations.

- the key to opening the door to our room had only a position in which it wanted to work, but the staff was very helpful and showed us how to use it - improvement/suggestion: a place to rest your shower gel and shampoo when you take a shower would have been nice. In order not to place them on the floor and have to pick them up everytime.

Everything was great. the staff is very friendly. the accommodation is clean and tidy. huge parking lot in front of the hotel. if you are traveling, it is a great place to spend the night for a day or two. THANK YOU

Our room was at the back & big with a good bathroom though no balcony.

The lift is in a strange place but we were glad of it. Breakfast is poor, awful juice , cold food & no butter. However milk was sourced for my tea( there was none for the cereals!)

Perfect location for a one night stay if you're traveling to Southern Greece. It's just 40 minutes from the border. The rooms are super clean. Everything is new. It's a well maintained hotel.

Don't expect the best quality breakfast. It's okay, but could be better.

Staff were very pleasant and accommodating, place had a friendly feel to it, very clean and food and beers were great
