This is a very nice place, first of all in the heart of historic Rhodes. On the other hand, it is very close to the beach, the market, shopping and the best restaurants in Rhodes. It is very easy to walk here from the port. The room architecture is marvelous. Of course there is one special person who makes Mandorla so wonderful; his name is Gioni. He is a true gentleman, a true friend and father who will help you with everything. Definitely someone to get to know. His hospitality is top level. My three year old daughter loved him so much that she even made him a song called Grandpa Gionni :) To summarize, if I come to Rhodes again, I will definitely choose this place because it is a place that deserves the money I paid and there is a person who really knows his job at the head. Thank you again and again for everything.

Loved this apartment! Right in the centre of old Rhodes town, near bars, eateries, and sites. Stylishly decorated in an old building, large room with nice bathroom, kitchenette, large comfy bed. The owner was so lovely, he was there to greet us on arrival and he provided us with a bottle of wine, orange juice, and water in our fridge, then left us some beautiful biscuits and water for our journey home. Would definitely recommend this place, we loved our stay there and would go back if we were in Rhodes again.

This was the MOST perfect place to stay in Rhodes Old Town. The apartment is not only beautiful but super well equipped with a stove, sink, plates, appliances, etc. The host is the kindest and friendliest you could imagine, really adding the charm of the trip. He helped us with directions and recommendations and was all round super lovely and smiley. The location itself is ideal - right in the middle of the Old Town (walking distance to everywhere you would want to go) yet so quiet and tranquil as it places itself down one of the gorgeous allies. The location has so much to offer, right next to a 10/10 restaurant (Marco Polo) and a 2 min walk at most to the main street. You are unable to reach the apartment by taxi (as with all properties within the walls of the Old Town - as will be explained) but this was no problem for us at all - bus and taxi stations are right outside the multiple gates to the Old Town and from each, it will only take maximum 10 minutes to walk to Mandorla. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

What a gorgeous apartment. Beautifully restored from ruins and retaining some of the historic features. Gioni was an absolute star host. Warm, welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Nothing was too much bother. He even helped arrange a buggy to the Port on my departure (sent me on my way with the most delicious cookies). Mandola is away from the hustle and bustle but only a 2 minute walk from the beating heart of Old Town restaurants, bars and shops. Book the upper floor apartment if you can.

Mandorla is perfectly located in the Old City. It's just off the heavy tourist traffic area (2 blocks), so it's close yet very quiet. The studio is beautiful and Gioni welcomed us warmly and was eager to ensure we had a great stay.

The air conditioner is aimed at the bed, so I would eventually wake up needing to either adjust the settings or turn it off (create a barrier with the chairs and a towel) to prevent it chilling me overnight. It wasn't a big issue really, but it would be best if air conditioners weren't aimed at beds (this is a common occurrence, so not a jab at Mandorla only).

The host Giorni was very welcoming when we arrived. We stayed only for one evening but wished had booked for longer. The location is amazing, loved being in the heart of the old town with all its history. Great size room for the three of us and was spotless. The beach is only about a 15min walk which we enjoyed relaxing at the stylish beach bars. I would highly recommend staying at the lovely Mandorla apartments.

Excellent Host, very kind and helpful. The apartment was really nice, clean and had everything you needed (this was clearly well thought about). The location is perfect also. The only negative was there was little to no wifi in the room. This wasn't so much an issue for me as i had 4G. Other than that I highly recommend this place if you are coming to Rhodes.

Mandorla Apartments in Rhodes Town is a fantastic place with an excellent location (about 2 mins from Hippocrates Square, the centre of the Old Town) and spacious and cosy rooms. The gentleman who hosted us was kind, warm and welcoming and took his time to tell us about the places, restaurants and transport. He also gave us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift which we liked a lot. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Rhodes!

Absolutely perfect location in the middle of gorgeous old town! You can reach amazing restaurants just withing couple of minutes and the beach in 10-15min on foot. The appartment is comfortable, has everything you need and a special charm of old town. And the host is just something special!! So nice, so friendly and helpful, will go an extra mile for you. Highly recommend and would definitely come back! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay, it definitely made my holidays better!!
