the breakfast was excellent, particularly liked the coffee and the bread and pastry the complimentary wine, biscuits and coffee was very generous and a nice idea, as was the pleasant courtyard to relax in. the room was very comfortable, overall everything had been really well thought out to ensure i had a pleasant stay.

I suggest a little variety of a change from omelette each day particularly if staying over a few days, however It was very nice and very well presented by the lovely ladies each morning. The buffet breakfast was lovely and maybe a little more variety of fruit could be on offer, my last breakfast there was a solitary bruised apple and no other fruit.

I quite enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff is amiable and always willing to help, e.g. organized me a Danube River cruise and agreed to change my room since the first one had an unpleasant smell. The interior of rooms is spectacular. The breakfast is not various, but delicious, and personally for me it was enough. Additionally, I have not encountered any problems with water and Wi-Fi.

Since my new room was prepared suspiciously fast, it seems that the cleaning lady didn’t change the bedding as one side of the pillow smelled like someone had already slept on it, and there also was someone else's hair on the bedsheet. (I didn’t contact the staff about this case as I was too tired). The sound insulation is very poor, which was sometimes frightening, especially at nighttime.

The hotel is in a very good position in the city center, next to the main public transportation. It is very comfortable in every aspect (silence, bed, temperature, etc.). The breakfast is abundant and very good. The staff is nice and helpful. Overall a good experience.

Cleaning in the rooms can be improved (e.g. I found spider web and hair on the phon). There is no lift in the hotel (not a problem for me, but just to know for other), however there are rooms at the ground floor.

The hotel is wonderful: a patio with armchairs, silence, a young man at the reception who knows English very well (the first day at work - and he already managed to connect Wi-Fi to our laptop, shared a plate with a knife for a piece of watermelon, poured us a cup of coffee). Some of the lamps in the room coolly imitate a sunny day. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is located in the center, within walking distance from the bus stop 100E (express to the airport). The breakfast provided was simple but delightful. However, the true highlight of my stay was the remarkable manager, Laszlo. His exceptional assistance left a lasting impression on me, and I am really grateful for his support. Laszlo went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and convenience during my stay. For example, when I found myself without a SIM card, he graciously offered me his own phone, allowing me to make an important call to another country and unblock my credit card. His generosity and thoughtfulness made a significant impact on my overall experience. I cannot express enough how appreciative I am for his exceptional care. I am writing this review solely to commend Laszlo for his outstanding service and to express my gratitude. His dedication and genuine concern for the well-being of guests truly sets this hotel apart. We had a short, but wonderful stay at Butik Art Holtel. We were pleasantly surprised by an unexpected upgrade to a family room, even though we were just a couple. The room was spacious, spotless clean, the bathroom included basic amenities, beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was also extremely tasty, with a variety of items to choose from. We are coming back for sure during our next trip to Budapest. Thank you very much!

There's not a single negative thing I could say about this hotel. It's absolutely worth visiting!

I think they had invested well in bed linen and bathroom equipment — shower was small, but worked well

I thought it was overpriced — I booked it at half price (~230€ for 2 nights ~40% off the regular price) — the full price would have been excessive, even this was more to the expensive side for what the room was. Did not care about the artsy side of it.

great location,cool vibe,super helpful and friendly staff.. zero complaints..

my only observation was that the room was very hot,even with full aircon. as a side note,I like a freezing room, so this is in no way a complaint.

Located in the city center, close to the Nyugati train station, airport shuttle terminus and many historical sights, and entertainment venues, it's a great choice for staying in Budapest. The room we stayed in was cozy and quiet, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Also the cat, that lives near the premises, is just an absolute delight :)

The breakfast was tasty, if something, it could use more fresh fruits. I appreciated that the hotel personnel were flexible enough to arrange breakfast earlier for me since I had a conference that I needed to attend early in the morning. The garden in front of the hotel was also really nice.

When I arrived at the hotel late in the evening, the room was a bit cold, but I adapted the thermostat and the next day it was already much better.
