This was an ideal bolt hole at the price. Staff all perfectly friendly. Occasionally delightful. Room spare but very clean. 24 hour reception. It wears the tags of the Soviet era, but has been well maintained. They sell a few snacks at reception, which came in handy. You can get breakfast - but at 11 euros, you might be better off whacking a hotdog and a coffee at the Shell garage opposite. The bread was wonderfully fresh. The coffee OK. The rest variable.

The hotel is by a main road in a distant quadrant of town no tourist would ever visit. Essentially borderline-industrial, distinguished only by a big Lidl and a KFC. That said, if you take the tram, you only need make one journey to get all the way to Parliament and beyond. It is about 10 euros in a tax from Astoria. I had absolutely no problems at the Hotel Canada, but I was equally glad to be done with it.

The location was fantastic, especially if you need easy access to the airport. The place was clean and well-maintained, with the convenience of a parking spot, making our trip stress-free. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to assist us. Overall, it was an excellent value for the price, and we had a comfortable and pleasant stay.

This is a proper hotel, but it is old. Probably built in the 1980s (my guess). It has that 80s vibe and could use some refurbishment, but is clean and everything is in working order. There are plenty of parking spaces. The staff is helpful and gave us tips on how to use the public transport to go to the city center and sold us single-ride tickets for our first journey. It is actually quite easy to reach the city center once you realize how to use the public transport (I recommend using bus 224 to Boráros tér where you can change to trams, but you may also use suburban train H6 to another transfer hub). Overall OK. I would return!

The restaurant is closed and they don't serve breakfasts at the hotel. There aren't any decent places to eat in the area either, so this is a pity :( (* to make up for this they sell sandwiches and bottled drinks at the reception).

Spacious, cozy room, exceptionally clean, and the staff is absolutely lovely and very helpful! Many bus/tram lines nearby, as well as a small mall where you can get groceries and necessities. Most comfy bed+pillow I've ever had in a rented room.

It is across a train track, on a busy road, so it can get a bit noisy with open windows; however, sound and heat isolation are really great when closed. The walls are a bit thin and the bathroom ventilation lets through smells from other rooms (I think my neighbors were smoking). Still, these are just minute details in the overall superb impression.

If you are looking for accommodation for a family, for one night, then this is a good choice. Parking in front of the hotel, easy access from the main road and friendly hosts.

Imagine every Chinese and Asian restaurant you've been to. Remember that characteristic smell of food being prepared. Now, mix all those smells together to blend into one. And that's the smell, (strong and pungent), when you enter the hotel. And all the time you stay. When we checked out, I felt a bit sorry for the lady at the reception that she remains in that agony, while we continue our journey. I really don't understand how anyone in the 21st century thinks you would ever go back to a hotel where you can't breathe because of the strong smell.

Parking space is very safe and the location is very near shops (Aldi, DM, etc. ) and also close to the bus/train station that will take you to the city center within 20 mins. The staff was very friendly and the room was basic but everything you need.

The outside look of the hotel does not look representative but do not be scared. It is just the outside look ;)

Wonderful staff. Nice comfy bed. Room was big. They had a baby cot for our child. 5 mins walk from tram to city.center and direct stop for.metro 3/4. 5 mins walk from.Aldi supermarket,KFC..

We had a room facing east. We had direct light until late... curtain's didn't cover the whole window so we had light all the.time from the sun and from the powerfully street light.

This is a good budget accommodation with basics but clean. The stuff was friendly but a bit confused. There is no haordryer and iron at the room. Beside that its okay for a weekend. Connection links with tram and train to the city. Free and secure Parkijg was the most important for me.

Its all dated. Has a lot of potential with a bit of upgrades.

the staff were absolutely lovely. everyone I spoke to really wanted to help and make my stay comfortable. when I had an issue with wifi they were very accommodating and wanted to fix it. I needed to work remotely until long after my checkout and they were more than happy to let me stay and continue working until I finished. also the hotel was spotlessly clean. the staff clean the rooms daily and there is constant hot running water in the shower.

I wouldn’t say it was something I didn’t like but I can see that some people may see the facilities as slightly dated. personally I wasn’t too bothered.

Especially friendly and accommodating staff. Which accepted my son with a disability extremely carefully. The hotel is made of people, and here they are the best. Certainly an excellent choice for accommodation and peaceful surroundings. A special greeting to a warm lady from the reception.
