Location was great, pool was lovely, reception staff where great

Restaurant staff, in particular one member was rude and took ages to serve us so we ended up leaving. And it wasn’t us he was rude to it was a couple from Japan.

I liked the overall feeling and design. Rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable to stay in. Location was great especially if you want to visit Advent market and city center these days. I liked the spa and pool option a lot.

We stayed for the weekend plus Monday. It was never mentioned anything about Monday and Tuesday being clean up days which meant pool and spa couldn't be used. Also gym was unavailable at that time, too. I think it should be clearly stated before you plan your trip at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Although a couple of reviews said the rooms were small, we did not find this to be the case (at least it wasn’t small by our standards). A lot of reviews also mention the location not being the nicest, but we loved it due it it’s close proximity to good restaurants and bars (we found the ones around here to be less touristy than the centre), and we never once felt unsafe. Spa facilitates are nice and the breakfast was great with a big variety of options.

Spa facility and breakfast could get crowded, but it wasn’t a huge problem for us and we never had to queue for breakfast, even though we saw that others did on some of the days.

This hotel is amazing. Situated in the Jewish Quarter. Come out of the hotel & take the 3rd turn on the right you come to an amazing reclamation of the Holocaust. Furniture made from recycled materials, bars live music & caravan nxt door with street food. Plus the Synagogue at the end of the rd. 15 minute walk to the Danube & all the sights. As long as you see the big wheel you are not far from the hotel. River cruise a must at night..don't do open bar..we did & it's only wine & beer..you can do it cheaper for 36 euros for 2 & pay for your drinks as the cruise is 2 hours..we paid £108 & couldn't drink enough to warrant our money. Live entertainment was brill. Just enjoy Budapest it's amazing Quick add..the first Strudel restaurant off Liberty Square well worth a visit & watch them make Strudel 😀 👍

Absolutely incredible visit. The room was lovely, clean, and a decent size. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. The roof-top pool and lounge area were fantastic on the hot days, and the indoor pool and saunas were wonderful on the cold days. The hotel location was great; within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and tourist sites. There's also an onsite restaurant and bar in case you're in the mood to stay in for the evening. The absolute star was the staff and their level of service. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, were able to make various recommendations and offered to arrange transportation as required. We were able to store our luggage upon arriving early, the bell desk staff were incredibly friendly and polite, and offered umbrellas when it was raining outside. We were visiting for our wedding anniversary, and the hotel congratulated us with a room upgrade and sparkling wine. Also loved the daily delivery of chocolates in the evening. The level of service really elevated our visit!

We booked the property because of it’s location, facilities and breakfast. We stayed at this hotel as a weekend break to celebrate my daughter’s recent graduation. The hotel manager had arranged a suprise, complementary, bottle of sparking wine and a personal welcome letter which was delivered to our room shortly after arrival. All the staff were so very welcoming and friendly. We also had cocktails and a burger in the lovely bars. The roof top pool and sauna were wonderful with views across the city. We also booked a lovely, relaxing aromatherapy massage. The breakfast was amazing

Reception staff were excellent - very helpful in marking out routes on the map and giving directions. Actually all the staff seemed very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and comprehensive including fried eggs and omelettes on request. Hotel was quiet and felt very safe - reception was staffed 24 hours. Rooms very clean. Bed itself was comfortable. Location of the hotel itself was great. Easy walking distance to the Metro and bus routes and the Ruin bars.

Bedroom was quite hot - the air con didn't seem to be working correctly. Bath towels were a bit skimpy - but did the job! Pillows were rather hard (probably could have sorted that with a call to reception but were too busy enjoying ourselves) We were in the standard size room - which would be fine for a solo traveller. There wasn't a lot of storage space. We were OK for a long weekend - but think it would be a bit too cramped for anything longer.

The interior, especially the lobby area is stunning. Feels like a cathedral. The breakfast was so good, so many different choices and if a high quality. Staff where friendly, especially the doorman/assistant man who brought the luggage up to the room and explain the room facilities to arriving guests

Everyday there was a knock at the door asking if I needed the minibar to be refilled. They’d never give enough time to let you answer the door before opening it themselves. I think maybe the hotel should source cards for the door handle to place on the door if you wish to have the mini bar refilled. No tag, no need to call. Just a suggestion.

The room was spacious and cleaned every day. The location was excellent with most sights only 20 minutes either direction. There were lots of bars, restaurants and supermarkets situated only a short walk away. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. Reception staff were pleasant and professional. A special shout out to the lady who saw us safely into our taxi (which the hotel kindly organised) when we left the hotel at 3.30am.

We experienced unusually hot weather when we visited Budapest. The air conditioning whilst welcomed wasn’t as effective as we would have liked when we returned from our days of sightseeing. The mini fridge could also have been more effective with items only mildly chilled after several hours.
