The hotel is great, rooms are big, breakfest is awesome. there is a gym and a spa for the guests.

There are certain aspects of the service that are odd.. We arrived early and the room wasn't ready, but we were offered to uogrsde to a more expensive room that was available. we were promised to get a text once the room is ready, we never did. Upon checkout, we asked for a late checkout, we were told it's possible but also for an extra charge... I feel that an expensive hotel of this magnitude should not try to optimize charging guests for minor service things like these, especially since the hotel was half empty due to the season.

The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the hotel and the Concierge was helpful booking my requirements. One of the greeters just inside the front entrance, brought my luggage to my room and showed me and explained all and functioning of my room contents.. I enjoyed the time and my late lunch food in the NY Cafe,,, and the pianist..the decor is beyond words.

In. NY Cafe, my female servers’ shift finished, just after I received my dessert. I asked one of the new shift servers to please take a photo of me with this special dessert. (My 56th wedding anniversary with my husband behind in Canada ) knowing he would live that dessert, he said he won’t do it but would ask another server—WHO NEVER CAME TO TAKE MY PHOTO—. I was at table #25.., Oh well

All is great with the hotel and staff. Staff is always helpful, including reception, room service, restaurant, bar and spa. When small inconveniences occur with pool, the staff immediately suggest nearest facilities at same rating hotel with a free transfer to and back. Upper management is always in touch with personnel to help and satisfy customer need, - what a great service class- an example for competitors and partners! This Hotel, the bar and White salon restaurant, the New York cafe I would suggest as "must visit" in Budapest for those, who value best accommodation, food and service in Europe. It is a convenient own garage parking with straight lift to the hotel. The air quality in corridors and rooms are good. I also have an impression, that all latest WHO recommendations for COVID-19 prophilactice are kept and strictly followed by personnel.

This is a beautifully deisgned and furnished hotel - keeping up (almost) the Italian Renessaise style of its famous cafe - The New York Cafe. The front desk staff were all good and charming. Its an event to stay here.

Surprisingly, for an Anantara hotel, the room service staff and wiaters in the New York Cafe were less good than we expected. All fairly minor things - eg. old orchid with wilted flowers in the room, used cups not changed during the evening turndown (after use in the afternoon) - but surprisingly in a hotel of this calibre. The waiters in the New York Cafe were mostly young and quite challenged and the food was okay, not terrific. Having people not coming to eat but just to take photos of themselves in the location doesn’t add to the ambience either, but I suppose this is almost expected in a location that is so iconic in Budapest.

Everything - from the moment we arrived until we left it was perfect. Our room was lovely(and huge) and the bath was amazing! The air conditioning worked very well. They did a lovely turn down service and were more than happy to top up your tea and coffee when requested. The room service was exceptional. The SPA was amazing and had one of the best massages of my life Breakfast was great - there were loads of continental options and you could have as many hot food options as you wanted. It was also served in the stunning New York Cafe. Coffee was great. By far the best thing about his hotel however is the staff, from the cleaners to the concierge to the waitors everyone was so lovely and made my sister and I feel truly special. We struggled to leave the hotel!

Nothing - I have stayed at a number of the leading hotels of the world and this is the top of the list

This was a perfect Christmas vacation and Anantara hotel was amazing! The breakfast is soooo good, there is a very rich buffet with everything you can want with the best service, if you consider booking this definitely add the breakfast (real bacon, blueberries, strawberry, pastries of all kinds, cheese and sausages platters, salads, and a la cart manu and more....) Obviously the cafe (restaurant) is beautiful too... Picture perfect. Our room (junior suite) was luxury at its best the bathroom was huge the bed was comfy the room was very spacious we felt like royalty. **Thank for the upgrade nice reception lady :). The rooms are very clean, the cleaner visited at least twice a day and made sure to make our bed so it was ready for sleep(folding the corner of the bed sheets as if we were invited to enter into bed). We loved the spa, we had the furniture to be in the pool almost alone. Concierge service was very helpful and nice.

There is one major issue with the hotel - the rail out side the rooms looking over the lobby in the inner patio is a safty hazard its way to low and people can easily fall from there. You(the hotel) have to add a higher safety rail. Other then that... And I'm being very picky here... 1. The room service manu is quite expensive 2. The spa treatments are very expensive

Location was convenient and easy to find . Door staff were efficient and welcoming , as were the reception staff . Breakfast was outstanding although the staff seemed a little disorganised on our second morning . The ceremony to open the bar every evening was really enjoyable . Our room was beautiful , spacious and very comfortable .

I found the noise from the restaurant (the New York Cafe , I think that’s what it was called , open to the public ) to be really distracting when we were in the foyer and the bar . Also the bar furnishings were a little worn and the tables were a bit sticky .

The property was stunning. I would recommend getting the breakfast. Although they don’t change out the food the atmosphere was amazing and the food was really good. Our room was a great size. The bed was super comfy. The sheets were incredibly soft, and the pillow menu made the stay feel even more luxurious. The soap provided was Aqua di Parma which is a very nice brand and smelled good. The spa included a pool, steam room, and sauna. The location was central and there were always taxis available.

Our shower douche did not work. Service was sometimes slow when we called to request something.

Best hotel ever! It was just perfect, we just hoped we stayed longer. The room was amazing, spacious and super clean. The bathroom was the best part of the room. We also tried room service which was excellent especially the Thai food. The breakfast AMAZING for the location itself but also for the food served, all the options available and the possibility to eat as much as you want in the most beautiful cafe in Europe. This hotel truly is amazing and we will go back to the city only to stay longer. The service is superb, everyone was nice

Nothing, everything was on spot.

We were fortunate enough to have a few days to stay at this opulent hotel. All of the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. It was the last city we visited in our 3 city vacation. We certainly felt we ended our vacation on a high note, as the hotel is gorgeous and the breakfast was a special occasion, but every day! Now that we are home, breakfast is kind of a let down😂. The location has its pluses and minuses. It is walking distance to many great restaurants, tourist attractions, and the transit lines.

I don't know if we can have it all, the only thing that could be more stunning is the street view. What I mean by that is the overall location is good for sightseeing, but a little bit of a dodgy neighbourhood.
