I stayed before in this hotel. One of the most affordable options in Budapest if you look for a comfy place with breakfast. I like the quiet location of the place, with clean air, high up the hills in an affluent neighbourhood. Connection with public transport is good, a bus line begins just a few hundred metres away. At night one needs to walk about 1 km to a busstop of one of the nightlines.

The advantage (quiet location away from the centre) is of course for some also an disadvantage. If you want to be close to the centre at all time, this is not the place for you.

Pleasant and welcoming staff, nice quiet room. Needed to use the hotel safe whilst there. Each room is assigned its own safe which is in the reception area and there are two keys in operation at the same time to open it, one of which is given to you.

How hard the beds were. Staff told us it was because they were new. Don't get me wrong, the room was lovely, and we were given blankets to place under the sheets to make sleeping more comfortable.

We liked pretty much everything, very friendly staff (didnt lose their smile even when we asked for a different room), cosy room had its own door to separate it from the noise inside the hotel, large balcony with table and chairs and lovely view over the city (from the second floor), clean bathroom, comfy beds, parking in front of the hotel. We didnt have breakfast this time but surely will try it next time.

Good Wi-Fi, room was clean, the staff was very nice, small Green garden în the back of the hotel, they have a good place in front to enjoy the coffee or beer. Bed was big and comfortable and quiet zone at night.

Towels were fresh and changed, but from the bleach it had a strange smell. The breakfast was acceptable but personally it would be nice to have more options to eat. Although, there are very good connections to the public transportation, it takes almost one hour to get to the city center.

Lovely hotel, cheap and cheerful and do get what you paid for but we only wanted it as a base and this was perfect. Friendly staff and spacious room - really clean too. Easy public transport links, or we walked into the centre a couple of times - long walk but lovely!

Could have provided a safe for our valuable belongings that we didn't want to take exploring with us. Also said it included toiletries but these were not in our room.

First of all the bed were to hard, the toilet was right next to the shower cabin so u couldn t stay comfortable at all. About the breakfast, I would rather pay 2€ plus Per night to get a good orange juice and a good coffee, the orange juice was obviously mixed with a loooooot of water, it was basically water with orange flavour. In my option if u offer breakfast u could at least make it tasty cause that s how u start ur day and trust me, i would have nothing to comment about smth else. Please at least fix the breakfast!

The location was really great if you don't want to be in the middle of the bustling city. Loved the greenary and the view over the city from the nearest bus station is just spectacular, both at night and during the day. The staff were super polite and helpful as well, answered all our questions promptly and they were courteous enough to let us use their parking for a few hours after the checkout on the last day while we had a last stroll in the city. If you're looking for a quiet and green place to stay while in Budapest, I highly recommend them. There's a bus station a short walk away so you're not cut off from the city.

It was clean, the staff was very helpful, the parking was free of charge but I didn't have place in front of the hotel (it was full), only in front of the next building that belongs also to Molnár hotel

The mattresses were too hard, the breakfast was poor ( you don't have many choices) and the location of the hotel a little bit to far from the city center. The price was a bit to high

Very friendly staff. We were given rooms in a separate building 20mts away. One room had AC but the other two rooms had fans - it was hot (35deg C) when we were there! Quiet residential area. Nice and easy parking, free.

Rooms were a bit dated to be honest, could do with a makeover. The shower tray would not drain quickly enough and towels were clean but smelt a bit funny. Breakfast was modest. Would have preferred all AC rooms tbh.

Hotel Molnar is pleasantly situated in a fine, quiet suburb overlooking down town Budapest. The part of the hotel I stayed in was purpose built rather than a converted house. The accomodation was clean, quiet and spacious. The staff were friendly and willing to engage if required. I will probably visit Budapest at least twice during the next twelve months and hope to stay at the Hotel Molnar.

Some complimentary shower gel or shampoo would have been welcome.
