The bed was very comfortable, private bathroom, everything was clean and the room was super spacious. 10min drive from the airport Keflavik. Waterboiler, tea and cups / glasses on the room. With closed windows, we couldn't hear the nearby airport, it was very calm and we had a relaxing sleep. Nice to stay at before or after a flight!

We couldn't find an elevator to get upstairs - so we're not sure how barrier free the hotel might be - if you'd need an elevator, ask beforehand. (We did not need one, it was just something we noticed.)

The hotel room met my expectations. The room was well equipped for a short stay. Easy check in.

Please can you put signs up for the shuttle pick up. I arrived in the dark by taxi the previous night. I waited outside from 5:20am for my 5:30am shuttle transfer to the airport only to see it drive away as I was standing in the wrong “big parking lot” I did not realise there was another entrance on the other side of the building. This caused some unnecessary delays in getting to the airport and 3 times the price for a taxi.

A good choice for a night before or after a Keflavik flight and, when I booked, cheaper than most of the other airport hotels. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. It is near the Keilir stop on bus service 55 between Keflavik airport and BSI in Reykjavík. There is a small shuttle bus to the airport every half hour from 4.30am but it gets booked up. You can reserve seats online in advance. There isn’t any provision for food but Hotel Konvin next door has a Bistro which gets very busy, so booking is advisable.

The shuttle was not clearly advertised on booking.com and we had to ring the hotel to find out if there was one. It may be “steps away from the airport” as the crow flies but it is certainly not walkable! The staff are very helpful. There is no lift to the upper floors, which is clearly stated in the details, so I requested a ground floor room as we had heavy luggage.

I wanted an overnight stay close to the airport after two weeks on the road around Iceland in a camper van, and the ABC Hotel was a perfect choice for me. Easily found, with good signage and well-located with two fine restaurants around the corner, it was ideal for a relaxing last night in Iceland. I was also delighted with the fast responses to minor queries from the team (in particular, Gabor) and for organising a taxi for me to the airport too.

The hotel was exactly as described and the facilities were just as I expected, so there were no issues at all.

It's close to the airport which was the initial reason we booked the place for our first night of the trip. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, showers and toilet modern and clean as well. It's not a place we'd book for more than a night due to its location but for what we needed, it was very good.

Unfortunately, there's no breakfast option. The fact that there's no elevator in the building might be an issue for some people with heavy luggage.

Room was absolutely huge, very clean, check-in was incredibly easy. Ideal location for us for one night to catch a very early flight the next morning

Hotel is in the middle of nowhere so not a good choice if you don't have a car, no staff on site (at least that we saw) so not sure what we'd have done if we'd had any issues, no food options (other than a vending machine) which wasn't a problem for us as we didn't need any, given the fact it's an airport hotel there were people coming and going at all hours and walls aren't terribly think, so quite a lot of noise.

Pleasantly surprised after reading negative reviews . Very courteous, friendly reception. Basic but clean comfortable room. Shuttle right on time for pick up to airport in the morning.

Difficult to get to without a vehicle . One bistro available in area on base so not really a place to plan on an evening out or any interesting spots to spend any time at. Good for an airport stopover before a flight as more reasonable than any hotels in area, but expensive for such a basic room.

Facilities were nice and easy to use, and the staff was kind and helpful. We couldn't make one of our first nights there due to travel changes, and they comped us a room later in the week. They were fantastic and easy to work with in person and quick to respond in email.

There isn't much to do within immediate walking distance and taxis are very expensive so I'd recommend having a rental car if you're coming from out of country.

So the ABC was clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable, fridge and kettle in room and very good shower with hot water and good pressure and shower gel provided. Good towels.The accommodation is three floors of long corridors with rooms either side, as you would expect from an airport hotel people are arriving and leaving at unsocial hours but the noise was not excessive at all. The hotel itself is on the old American Airbase, it is outside of Keflavic town by 10 minutes and 10 minutes from the airport too. You cannot walk to the airport, but ABC hotel does an early morning shuttle minibus. There is no cafe or restaurant at the ABC but the hotel next door has a small restaurant and bar and you can eat there, but a table isn't guaranteed. It is reasonably good.The base itself is rundown and not very pretty. There are no other amenities on the base to speak of. The staff were very friendly and helpful with excellent spoken English.

I had major problems with my arrival due to weather issues and the group I was meeting actually had their flights cancelled. Because of this, I had nowhere to go the next morning but the staff was amazing. The lead person (her name started with an N and kind of sounded like "Nina"?) arranged a late check out for me and directed me to the only hotel in walking distance that served breakfast. After the night I had coming in, this was a godsend. The room was great. Moderately large, had the basics and all the outlets I needed for charging, and a really good shower.
