Accessible to the airport-10m max taxi for £20 plus there is free shuttle to the airport by the hotel. There is a very good restaurant attached to the hotel which I see several times. Very good and plentiful meals. Also, there is Museum Duus next door which is well worth visiting. Loved it. Plus walkable access to the town of Keflavik.

There was nothing I disliked. I loved it.

The hotel is wonderfully located in the small town of Keflavik, near the Duus Museum and right by the seaside. You can go and enjoy the promenade, and if you go in the opposite direction, you can take a little hike to the lava cliffs of Steinhellur. The hotel itself is small but cute and comfy, and it has all the basic facilities you would expect from a hotel of its size.

The hotel might be a bit older than expected, but it's good value for the price. Additionally, Keflavik is very small, so you might get bored if you're there for more than a couple of days. But there are regular buses to Reykjavik from Keflavik, so that's good.

Close to airport and on harbour front. Spacious room that was quiet. Lift very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. This Hotel is like a guest house with about 15 rooms. We have rebooked!

Taxi was $25-60 AUD to/from airport. In the morning you can hear some noise like you would if stayed at a friends house. We were nearly put off my others that had made negative reviews but don’t be- this is a great choice close to the airport for for a longer stay.

Breakfast was fairly typical for hotels in Scandinavia. There was fruit, yogurt, muesli and other cereal, and a good selection of pastries. I liked the freshly-baked bread with some ham and cheese. And the evening meals at the restaurant were exceptional, with many seasonal, fresh selections, beautifully presented.

Although they say breakfast is available from 4AM to 10AM, it had been cleared away by 7 the day we arrived, and by 8:30 the next day. Most of their guests are only staying one night and catching early flights, so if you plan to stay longer, be sure to let them know the evening before. They did quickly replace everything once they became aware of the issue.

The location is great , especially for an airport hotel and the shuttle to the airport was comfortable, quick and included in the price. The staff were friendly , helpful and very efficient and the hotel itself is not large . The breakfast was good and available from 4am . It was very pleasant at 5.30 am to look across the bay from the restaurant.

We were in one of the few rooms overlooking the car park rather than the bay and there was some noise from reception immediately below us. The room had a small dormer window and an awkward sloping ceiling in that area ( banged head). We were very sad and disappointed to see whale meat on the menu. There can be no justification for it under any circumstances, even more so if it is intended to appeal to tourists.

It is a small hotel but a perfect place if you take a flight at the Keflavik airport he next day. The hotel arranged breakfast and riding service to the airport at your wishing time. There is an elevator to the room floor. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The ground floor is a cafe and restaurant (seems no other facilities).It was walking distance to the center, thus we ate out and went for a walk after along the seashore and it was very nice.

We struggled a little to ajusted hot water and gold water at the bathroom. Except that nothing special comes to mind.

The breakfast was very good with a really good selection of items. The location was really nice by the water. It was nice to have a balcony to see the ocean from the room. The food at the restaurant was excellent and good value for money. I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay. It is very close to the airport.

It might be helpful to have a more obvious sign to show that there is a hotel not just a restaurant and museum at the location. It could be useful to have a place for toiletries given the location of the sink.

Good location. Breakfast was great. Coffee machine was perfect! Staff was very nice. Allowed us to check in earlier and nice conversation during breakfast—I think we were the only people at property at that time! Nice hot shower, strong pressure. Huge bathroom.

Window was jammed and didn’t close all the way. At first, it was good since a very cold breeze was coming in, but then because of the hail, that same wind was really blowing hard all-night ling. We didn’t report the jam until next day, so shame on us.

Nice quiet area but easy walk to shopping zone. Could relax here before we headed home. Early breakfast from 4am - we had a 7.30am flight.

I was under the impression that this hotel offered airport transfers. We were informed that stopped in January this year (2024). So we ended up forking out another $40 each way for a taxi from and to the airport. Just take that in to account when comparing hotels. The hotel was very good though.

Our favorite thing was the staff. Not only were we able to check in early (9:00am./ we paid $45.00) because of Agnes at the desk and the housekeeper, but had a fabulous breakfast and personalized instructions for the receptions coffee bar. The harbor area is a wonderful location to walk around. I recommend stopping by the Handmade Shop across the street if you have the opportunity. They have a wide variety of handmade things and art from locals at great price! Very good quality!

If anything, I was expecting to enjoy the view from our room at night and possibly a long shot Northern Lights. The night security light shown brightly over our balcony though. The curtains prevent this from interfering with sleep though, so no worries about that.
