The service was excellent all round. the Duty Manager Shomalia was a great host. The Banqueting manager Charles was excellent, Dinner was a good selection. All the waiters were excellent

The first room had a bad odour and management changed it. This room was much better but had a few problem's: the mattress and base did not match. The Mattress was smaller than the base. The bathroom had leak and had to get the maintenance three times to repair. I asked for a good room with view but that was not the case. Hotel was under renovations which we were not aware of. Better quality all round as a 5star has to improve

The location is very good and easy to reach any location quickly. Embassy, Pondy Bazar, Beach, Temples, T Nagar Shops...etc. Most of these are walkable distance. the continental breakfast was good at 'Brick Oven'. The service was pretty good and food is very delicious and ambient location. We were served by Mr. Suresh and he was very polite. To my surprise, he remembered our choices from the day 1 and started serving the rest of the days. Of course, he confirmed with us. The rooms maintained very clean and hygiene. Appreciate Miss. Heme Latha & Mr. Gobind, to keep the room clean on daily and their impeccable work. It made us happy after tired city drives. We don't need to bother about the car parking after long / hectic drives. The facility has very professional Valet parking associates, took care of our car parking and keep the car clean if needed. Overall, the staff were very polite and have lots of patience.

Not much as the property has all facilities.. As family has more gadgets, they have to charge them before go out for City visits. Suggest to increase the number of charging points at bedsides or near dressing tables.

Amazing food and good location

As per our booking t&c, we were allowed 3 hours of late check-out time and we confirmed this calling the hotel before booking it. However after we booked room in hotel, we were called a day before check in and told that late check-out won't be possible. Then at the time of check in again we were told that they will allow late check-out. Then next day morning we were again called and told that late check-out won't be possible. However at the end, they managed late check-out for our room. However this constant confusion, communication and uncertainty reduced the fun of staying in the property. Otherwise property truly deserves a 10/10.

Breakfast - the spread was very good. The service by the staffs was very good, ever willing to assist and help all the time. Room - should have shower room , not bath tub , not convenient for elderly people. Lunch/Dinner - very good, they were willing to serve what we wanted. excellent. the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Booking the rooms without any advance payment - excellent. If coming to Chennai again the Accord Metropolitan will definitely be my choice.

The room with bath tub - was inconvenient to take shower. the auto driver waiting outside the hotel did not keep to his words - may be one exceptional incident ! Rooms could be made more pleasant .

We stayed during our visit to Chennai. Apart from its nice location and proximity we were super impressed by the restaurant especially the South Indian dishes , the best we had this time. Special kudos to the manager Ramya and her team who made our stay pleasant and memorable . They organized special dish (Gotsu) on our request took care of us every day and made us feel the traditional South Indian hospitality . This leaves us with no choice but to visit again next year … would certainly recommend for travelers who want to enjoy the South Indian food and team Ramyas traditional hospitality to get a unique and perfect Chennai experience…

Little noisy due to construction work during the day

The front office was very welcoming and pleasant. All took the extra mile to help.along with porters and bellboys The housekeeping team made our stay very comfortable with clean and well organised rooms everyday Special mention to staff at both restaurants. Friendly and service with a smile. Will always be my first choice of stay in Chennai

My stay was too short

I really love the way staffs treat the customers, they are very polite and kind. One of the from kitchen under the name or Rajeev who brought my first day stay order was serve us with very good manner and he told my husband anything you we can call him anytime, in all my stay at Chennai at Hyatt, ITC and all over i am really very comfort and happy to stay in The Accord. also recommend the same hotel to my cousins from Malaysia. Moreover, its very easy access to many shopping place. i too also notice the breakfast buffet was good and the menu change each day. Most of the staffs who serving foods in kitchen is very friendly. Last but not least the those in Reception is also so humble and love the welcoming drinks.

Nothing to tell bad about this hotel.

Excellent Housekeeping Staff (Hemalatha and Sushant) kept my room on the 5th floor impeccably clean and were very prompt when any additional toiletries/towels were requested. Complimentary breakfast was very good. Security bag screening ensured that the guests were protected.

That the hotel has smoking rooms and on one occasion cigarette smoke wafted into my room even though I was in a non-smoking room. Probably some cross contamination.

Nothing as such ,,

Breakfast was excellent.....but could be improved with different choices each day. Dinner service was very poor.....the food was delayed on both the days. .....looks like the staff was very slow.
