Incredible staff - friendly, attentive, and always prepared to go the extra mile. It was nice that I could communicate with them via WhatsApp. The food was great, lots of options and it was a great way to get familiarised with the Indian cuisine. I stayed here with my mom whose spice tolerance was very low if not zero. She didn’t wanna miss out on the food so she tried several dishes and worked her way up. Thankfully there were enough options for her. Overall, a comfortable stay and would recommend it to anybody.

It was quite noisy on our floor (4th) during the night and my mom had trouble sleeping. We stayed in a Deluxe Suite.

Overall it was good stay but might try out other 5 star hotel to compare the service. Stayed in accord previously but still find grt better.. 👍

Very Slow service at reception during my check in. The type of Room was not available as requested. Need to stay in twin bed room. No bathing soap and room phone not working. Did not complain on this matter as it was temporary room and our check in was around 11pm. Too tired too complain. Not a big issue but as 5 star hotel the service should be at 5 star std. Need to improvise on this. My previous stay the room has massage chair. This trip don't hv.. Not sure why. As a repeat customer the mgmt should consider giving out complimentary gifts such free 15 minutes massage services or any form of discount.. It's only suggestion.

Exceptionally friendly and efficient staff, sensitive to every guest's requirements. The breakfast buffet had a variety of choices, tasty and healthy. The staff at the breakfast buffet were always smiling, even when they encountered rude guests.

There was some problem with the billing by the FO staff and even though it was a miniscule sum, considering what we spent there, there were continuous follow-ups by email and whatsapp. Felt a little irritating after what was a perfect stay.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The Front Desk and Travel Desk staff were very responsive to our needs. We arrived on a very early flight and the staff was able to able to temporarily store our luggage and proceed with check in as soon as it was possible. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. The Metro from the Airport was clean and efficient. It was not difficult to get a reloadable Metro pass at the Airport Metro Station. Teynampet Metro Station is only 5 min away from the hotel if you don't mind a short walk. From Teynampet it is easy to travel to the Airport and to Chennai Central Station. It was not difficult to request the hotel car for other destinations.

A home away from home 🏡. Excellent hospitality and warm customer service throughout my stay. Outstanding staff members. Special mention about Srijana, who offered exceptional service right from checking in through to checkout. Another amazing staff member is the door person at the entrance, Saravanan, who should be commended for his integrity and uncompromising customer care. Also, thanks to Anushree for her kindness and assistance.

Bathroom floors were slippery. This is a huge fall risk. So, this is a red alert. The organisation should really do something about it.

Wonderful attentive and competent service of the caliber I have come to expect at first class Indian hotels, better than most other countries generally. Excellent food. First class gym with staff that were actually trainers and had very good suggestions, but were not intrusive.

It’s very centrally located in an important commercial, which is an advantage generally, but my wife and I like to walk and the chaotic and extremely busy traffic all around the area was discouraging in that respect. I probably should have booked a larger room. It was a little tight for two people over most of a week, and there was a persistent mildew smell that is common in the tropics because the AC goes off when you aren’t in the room (sensibly). The staff offered to move us to a different room when I mentioned it but we declined as we had a lot of stuff and had settled in by then.

This is a benchmark hotel. Everything is just excellent...and we have stayed in over a hundred hotels worldwide. The Reception - One of the warmest receptions I've ever had from a hotel Priya was such a pleasant and caring host. Each morning she would come and greet us at our breakfast table and enquire about our stay. The Breakfast - Unmatched, wide spread, tasty, cooked for you on the spot with a smile, plenty of choice and fantastic service. I've never looked forward to having breakfast like I did at GRT. The Rooms were absolutely impeccable, going up and down those huge glass bubble lifts was like takinf a joy ride each time

Could find not one issue to complain about, but a choice of a thinner/flatter pillow would be nice.

Staff and services were excellent. Property was very clean and well maintained. Spa services were very good.

Breakfast could be better organized. It was open space and looked like anyone could walk in. Out of 6 days, only on couple of days a staff was present to check on credentials. Waiters were all over the place and quite a few times, they took the orders but never bothered to register it in the kitchen. BTW, surprised that they didn't have peanut butter. Complained on day one, the head chef and supervisor promised to make it available next day but never happened.

I opted for a vegetarian food and the hotel has penty to offer the South Indian type vegetarian breakfast food (included in my booking) that was of high quality and taste. Hotel's car-booking for travel around was usually 40%-50% more than the market rate, but is easy and safe. The staff were always courteous. Room and room service was excellent. Tipping is optional though often expected (A$2- A$5, equivalent INR100 - INR250 will be generous on occasions).

None offered from the North Indian type food or the very limited offerings wouldn't cut the mustard. Room food-service ordered were exorbitantly priced (a single Cuppucino over INR400!). Lunch served was pricy (eat outside, if you could). Never request for in-house laudry service that will cost you dearly otherwise (I had to spend A$100 to wash & dry just two normal bag loads!).

Everything!! Staff were incredibly warm and inviting. Check in and check out was very easy and swift. I also had some changes which was attended to with ease. Dining facilities are great with lots of options. The hotel is impeccably clean. Rooms are well appointed, extremely spacious with all amenities one could ask for. Bathrooms are spacious with great toiletries and a huge shower. I highly highly recommend the hotel and thank them for making my stay so wonderful
