Everything was exceptional! - The Grand Hyatt Kochi was beautiful through and through, from lobby/entrance, to facilities, restaurants, outdoor walk areas and rooms. The view we had out of our 7th floor room was spectacular. - Heaps of facilities and activities just in the hotel property alone. - The cleanliness was immaculate. - All (and I mean all) the staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. We felt they all genuinely wanted to help us enjoy our time here. - I experienced a few staff who had gone out of their way and extra mile to help us sort things out (flight luggage issue). Our family enjoyed ourselves so much at Kochi and a lot of it had to do with our experience at Grand Hyatt Kochi.

Grand Hyatt Bolgatty will be my families go to destination on Kochi going forward. Our family is spread around the world and for any holidays in Kerala this hotel is a great destination by itself as well as a start and end to a visit to Kerala. We booked four rooms - one terrace suite and three other rooms. All on the same floor. The rooms were amazing. Designed very well with the littlest details thought of. Having said at many similar properties it was clear that the time and attention taken to hotel design played out very positively in the experience. The lake view from the room terrace at sunset was a great way to cap off days away from the hustle and bustle of Kochi but still very much part of the city. The food was exceptionally good. All the staff were very attentive and even our most minor issues were very well attended to. I highly recommend this hotel!!! Thank you team for making my family - all 10 of us - have a magical four days staying with you. Much appreciated.

Nothing out of the ordinary

It is the benchmark for all other hotels in India. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, fantastic facilities and views, beautiful gardens, convenient waterfront location, three great restaurants, a cafe and professional, happy and engaging staff. Special mention to Krishna from Thai Soul restaurant and Shahul in the foyer reception who were very professional. Evem the chefs at all the restaurants are very personable and make an effort to say hello and ask how your enjoying your meal and stay! if you are a foodie, you must visit Thai Soul and enjoy the theatre of the Chef and her staff cook for you in the open style kitchen. Obviously this hotel has a great management team and this is reflected in the staff.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. The rooms were spacious and elegantly designed, Waking up to the panoramic views of the water was truly a treat. Dining at their restaurants especially Malabar cafe was another highlight; the food was outstanding, with a variety of options Whether it's for relaxation or exploration, Grand Hyatt Kochi is the ideal destination. It’s a property that sets the gold standard for hospitality, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable stay in Kochi.

Good variety and fresh and tasty

There was a wedding at the same time, access to some areas were limited

The location was excellent, on an island, away from the busyness, right by the backwaters The bed and pillows were so comfy and feather like. The view from the room was spectacular facing the waters. The bathroom was extremely spacious with a beautiful bath tub. I loved the breakfast with authentic Kerala food as well as great choice of European food. The club lounge was useful - fantastic choice of finger food ( a bit low on vegetarian options) and alcohol beverages. The check in was so quick even though I arrived at 9am. Everything was really superb.

Absolutely nothing

I usually plan a getaway in GHKB during my vacation and it never disappoints me. The best part of this years stay was the Backwater Cruise for sunset. Breathtaking experience through the backwaters and had a fantastic hospitality too. The room was spacious, clean and comfort level was always high. The breakfast was vast with wide menu and totally loved it. Indian menu was awesome. Don't miss the tea ! A stay that was worth. A luxury that is unique and staff being always helpful. Need more properties from Grand Hyatt in Kerala.

Kids activities need improvement. And pool side is always crowded especially when there is a wedding function. Recommend to shift the events a bit away from the outdoor pool.

We had a wonderful stay, the hotel is full of amenities and the restaurants are great (special mention to the Thai restaurant). The staff is very helpful and friendly, special thanks to Anaya - our contact person in the hotel -, Sujim and Ashaq, who took care of the cleaning in our room located on the third floor.

The breakfast buffet is amazing and we liked it very much, especially when served in the Malabar Cafe. On Sunday we had to move downstairs and the experience was not comparable.

From the moment I got out of the taxi the Service and welcome from the staff was the best I have experienced Swathi and Efin were so welcoming and professional. the rooms were very comfortable. the food is one of the highlights Breakfast was the best I have ever had Gishna always took time from his busy morning to have a word with us. The Thai restaurant was amazing Anithka was brilliant and guided us expertly through our menu we met the lady Thai Chef whose name escapes me ,her buffet on a Saturday was something I will never forget. The facial I had in the Spa centre was the best i have had. Unfortunetly I cannot remember the amazing beauticians name. there so many other staff that made my stay one I will never forget. Athin and of course Sulaiman who drove us around and give us some information on the way.

May be at times staff were a little too attentive but I could not find any faults. Service was a little slow in the bar and some items not in stock but no problems finding something else' There was a bar fridge in the room was empty. it did not really bother me but would have been nice to grab something cold sometimes. I did nit bring it to the attention of the staff.

We're not ones to actively provide reviews, let alone a detailed one (will be my first ever) but the Grand Hyatt warrants it (and I still haven't done it justice). Background: We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 2 and 6 months. My wife and I are also vegan. Service: Impeccable. People really go out of their way to help and support. The lead chef, Latha, personally ensured she pointed out all vegan food for us and always checked in to see if we were OK and regularly and personally served our daughter. My daughter banged her head by accident (her own fault) and all surrounding staff stopped what they were doing to help - brought ice, gave her free cookies and Anaya personally delivered a soft toy to our room to make her feel better. Anaya regularly checked up on her whenever we walked passed reception - she is one of a kind. Special thanks to Stedlin, Imli (from maraba cafe), Narendra (from Thai Soul). Stedlin in particular was very good with the children and ran around after us - he clearly takes personal pride in his job and will run all around the room to keep you comfortable. All service staff in fact consistently helped with the children and gave unbelievable service. The whole serving staff were incredible. Soumya was also incredibly helpful and supportive and arranged for a departing homemade cake (better than top patisseries in France!) and personally saw us off at checkout. Completely unprovoked. Rachel at the spa had a lovely manner and knew all about any biological ailments we had. Sreeram is an excellent as a concierge and often went out of his way to help us with things to do outside of the hotel. My wife arranged some birthday treats for me and all staff were very helpful and accommodating. Food: The choice and variety each day was outstanding. We've been fortunate to have many fine dining and michelin experiences in London and the buffet and a la carte options here easily compare and in some cases, exceed.

Loved everything. There isn't a single thing we'd suggest improving.
