Review: This was our first time in India as Europeans, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay at The Imperial Hotel! From the moment we landed to the time we departed, the staff went above and beyond to help us navigate this beautiful yet chaotic city. The taxis provided by the hotel were top-notch, the room was fantastic, and every single restaurant exceeded our expectations. The staff deserves nothing but praise for their professionalism and hospitality. If we ever return to India, we will definitely stay at The Imperial again. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable!
Alles was perfect

I only stayed here for a grand total of 8 hours before my flight but still got to enjoy most of what the hotel could offer. Check in was smooth and efficient (own check in person to help you to your room) Room was comfortable, large and exceeded my expectations. I managed to visit the pool which is beautiful and a good size. The gym had everything you need for a good workout (unlike many other gyms in Delhi hotels) The spa was amazing and very reasonably priced. I managed to have a nice relax for 60 mins with the Imperial Iconic Massage which is well worth a try! I even managed to have a nice whisky in the 1911 bar which again was priced well and was very relaxing. All staff were attentive and always happy to engage in conversation which was lovely. They even prepared me a lovely breakfast bag since I was leaving in the middle of the night.
I just wish I could of stayed longer

It sounds like a cliche, but the smiles and warmth on the part of the staff are what really make this hotel special. The magnificent artwork, memorable dining, and nicely appointed rooms are all just icing on the cake.
There is no doubt that The Imperial is expensive, but for a one-time splurge, especially on a first-time visit to Delhi, it is the right thing to do. Given Delhi's great metro system, on a second visit I would choose something not quite as expensive near a metro stop.

Old fashioned comfort where the guest is important and we are welcomed back and noticed in a proper and friendly way. The breakfast is amazing. Young chef Mahender Singh Rawat was amazing. Made eggs Benedict with smoked salmon for me and noticed I didn't eat the bread so. put it on a guacamole and welcomed me every day. Delicious. Chef Madhav was incredibly helpful too. The housekeeping department Mr Shadman and Mr Ashish made sure our room was spotless. They do a great job. It's really a luxury to stay at such a divine hotel that is super efficient and friendly and attentive. The staff wants you to be comfortable and happy. You are also able to book a half day if your flight is in the evening rather than paying for a full night and that makes it so much easier. My praises to a fantastic hotel. This was my fourth time there.
Not a thing I can think of and that is a rare thing!

This is the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed at. All staff are good at hotels, they are expected to be, however, EVERY member of staff at the Imperial will go over and above what would normally be expected - Amazingly courteous, genuinely helpful, and perfectly dressed. The hotel is extravagant in a colonnial style, huge perfect corridors, endless cleaning without disrupting the customers. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and it's staff. An immense pleasure to stay and I WILL be returning.

This hotel is an epitome of luxury and elegance, providing an unparalleled experience for travelers seeking a blend of historical grandeur and modern sophistication. During my recent stay, I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of this magnificent property. The beautifully landscaped gardens and grand entrance create a breathtaking first impression. Walking through the corridors adorned with rare artifacts and historical photographs is like a journey through time. The rooms were spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with all the modern amenities. My room was impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The attention to detail, from the luxurious linens to the well-stocked minibar, was truly commendable. The marble bathroom, complete with premium toiletries, added to the overall sense of opulence. Dining Experience The dining options were simply outstanding. 1911 Restaurant is perfect for those looking to enjoy delicious meal with relaxing atmosphere. Service and Staff The staff at the Imperial Hotel deserve special mention. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was incredibly professional, courteous, and attentive to my needs. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Overall Experience Staying at the Imperial Hotel in New Delhi was a luxurious and enriching experience. The blend of historical charm and modern comforts, coupled with outstanding service, made my stay truly exceptional. Whether you are visiting New Delhi for business or leisure, I highly recommend the Imperial Hotel for an unforgettable stay. This hotel is not just a place to stay; it's a destination in itself.

This was, simply, the best travel experience I have had at a hotel. It exceeded other 5 star properties I’ve visited at every turn. The staff were incredibly efficient, friendly, and relaxed. Especially nice touches: front desk staff accompany you to your room at check-in and complete documents there, for comfort, and give an overview of your room. The room was luxurious without being cavernous, amenities generous, excellent minibar options, and very comfortable robes. The 1911 restaurant was a welcome respite and served wonderful Continental and Indian dishes. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully orchestrated. The hotel bookstore was a precious and well-curated little gem. The concierge was unfailingly helpful and the spa was like a dream to escape the New Delhi smog. The hotel’s art collection was of real interest and the overall vibe was delightful.
Nothing! I wish the weather conditions had allowed me to enjoy the grounds to their full extent.

I like the cleanliness of the property. The paintings which decorated the walls were very eye pleasing, I enjoyed watching them.
I preferred the hotel has a buffet for dinner as well. I asked for personal tour guide, which I did not like it. I think I won’t ask for tour guide in future if I come and visit India. What they had in their mind to take us to specific shapes to buy. And I am not sure how much extra they charged for their goods because we were tourist!!!!!! Felt a kind of highly overcharge. My mindset was to trust my tour guide, but I think I was wrong! The other point is the tour guides are not very knowledgable and the information they give is what u get from Google search! This is what I compare when I got a tour guide in Granada, Spain. They were very helpful and full of information.

The historic and beautiful Art Deco building provides a unique and memorable experience. The hotel boasts one of the largest private art collections in the world, with the artwork displayed on the walls visually representing important moments in India's history. An absolute treasure of art to discover. The staff were outstanding - friendly, helpful, experienced and always professional. We loved the first-class service provided, and greatly appreciated all the staff we spoke to, in particular Chandra who looked after our room with finesse, and Nitin who served us at breakfast, remembering our particular requirements. We also had informative chats with Louis Sailer and Surender Singh Thakur who impressed on us value of the building and its art, as well their genuine passionate for providing the highest level of customer experience. We appreciated the hotel providing as much bottled drinking water as we needed, in addition to an extravagant breakfast. Brilliant location - close to everything and lots to do and see in walking distance of the hotel.
I was disappointed not to be able to use the main swimming pool. While I understand it needs annual servicing, it would have been good to have been informed before we arrived. It was out of action for the 7 days we stayed - a long time. A smaller pool was provided but it was hard to find a free seat by the pool. In addition the work on the pool affected the gym, with constant drilling. When the drilling stopped the gym was excellent - extremely clean and well maintained with new equipment. I enjoyed using it. The staff at the gym were outstanding - professional and extremely helpful. They also provide first class yoga sessions - for free - worth attending!

Everything! This hotel is truly amazing, from the service they provide, to the facilities and the decor! I've used the pool, the spa, the restaurant, everything I could. A good example of that is that we've asked for separated single beds, but because they didn't have one available at the time, they gave us a room upgrade, with a larger king size bed instead. I loved everything about it.
Well, the prices on the room service don't include the taxes and the service fee, which was an unhappy surprise at the time of checkout. I don't mind paying them, but it would have been nice to know in advance, and I don't recall seeing a disclaimer about those extras on the menu.
