View + Breakfast + Location

While the hotel offers good amenities for guests, I strongly advise all foreigners or anyone hiring rental cars with drivers to avoid booking this hotel. Unlike most establishments in India, this hotel shows no courtesy or decency toward drivers. Despite charging hefty amounts for their services, they fail to provide even basic food or accommodation for the drivers accompanying their guests. This practice of taking care of drivers is a well-established tradition across India, even in hotels with prices 10 times lower than this one. It’s shameful and highly inconsiderate for such a high-end hotel to disregard this. If you value kindness and hospitality, look elsewhere.

Cost little high

Excellent view of the Ganga set in a tranquil setting. Hospitality was impeccable as well with Balwant, Suraj and Ratan taking care of us extremely well at Jal &Jalebi at all times. Food was superb with no overpowering masala. Our drivers need a special mention too... Ravi Sharma and Dharmpal were very courteous and adept at driving in the ghat.

The cleanliness could be a bit better.. i had dropped something under the bed and saw it was too dusty... they preomptly cleaned it though. Water from the shower cubicle was coming out.

The location on the bank of the Ganges was superb, with a breathtaking view from my room. It was great to be able to access the riverside path from the hotel garden and be able to walk away from the crazy traffic! I attended the included yoga and meditation classes every morning of my stay and the breakfast and dinner buffets were very good.

It is hard to keep this concise but I would highlight the location of the hotel, the fact it has a private Ghatt and Arti each morning and evening; but perhaps most impressively the food is absolutely amazing. If you stay here not only will you have a comfortably lovely room but you will be happy each morning and evening with the tastes and flavours of the buffets. I highly recommend this hotel for all traveller.

There is nothing negative I can write about this hotel.

The location was fabulous just on the banks of the Ganga. We could take walks along the river banks, have breakfast by the riverside. It was in main Rishikesh yet the hotel side was relatively calm and peaceful. View from the hotel rooms and public areas was stunning. The buffet breakfast and dinner was delicious with wide array of vegetarian mouthwatering food. The spa has some very good and relaxing massages, is a must try.

The ambivalence and cleanliness. The f&b manager Saurabh attentiveness,eagerness in putting everything right when I gave my feedback regarding few issues. The furniture in the dining table is not suitable for dining. It's very heavy and very low. As they are settee. Suitable for lounges. The staff agreed. The rooms are outdated. It's a 35 yrs old building but their room charges are beyond 5*hotel rates. The only advantage is the views and cleanliness but since some floor tiles replacement going on the dust is quite a challenge when you walk down, as the doors kept opening. Rooms aren't big but reasonable size. And must have half board isn't really good since I would like to to eat before 6.30pm.

Lovely staff with one exception,; Excellent retreat destination ig you stay on their grouds and walk along the riverside. If you want more open space/hiking,, this is not the place to stay -- too close to Rishikesh congestion

They tried to put me in a "180 degree river view room" that had absolutely NO PRIVACY. It was directly facing a public jacuzzi. Very disappointing. Shame on the management! Yet, despite much mildly irritating resistance from the front desk and after my firm rejection of the assigned room, they moved me to a partial river view but private room.
