Fabulous room, really friendly staff (they are easily the best part about this place I cannot speak highly enough of them), quaint little pool in the middle, lovely open top 2nd floor restaurant / breakfast venue. The room was honestly fabulous, couldn't have asked for any more, beautiful shower & bath, lovely cosy bed and great aircon, WIFI & amenities.

The water was off for a little while whilst we were there as they were doing some works in one of the rooms which meant we couldn't have a shower the night we were there (only stayed on the island one night unfortunately). Didn't really bother us too much as it was back on in the morning, only negative I could find.

We loved everything. Athmosphere there is incredible and welcoming. Every little detail in rooms and restaurant is worth of taking an other look. Staff was so nice and helpfull. Food and breakfast was delicious. Really need to go back there again!

The Hani Hideaway was by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. It truly feels like arriving in paradise! The pool is incredibly charming, and even when there are other guests around, it feels like you have the place to yourself. Additionally, they arranged a massage for me within just a few minutes. You can order anything you want at any time, which adds a special touch to the experience. The breakfast and all the food were outstanding. A special mention to the staff, especially Johny, who was exceptionally friendly, shared a lot about the country and its culture, and made our stay even more memorable. We’re definitely planning to take his offered Lombok tour on our next visit. We also did some excursions through the hotel, such as horseback riding for the sunrise, which I highly recommend! Even though it means waking up early, it’s worth it to ride along the beach with no one else around. We also did a private boat tour, which was amazing! They also organized our boat trips to the Gili Islands and back, and I highly recommend the Einstein Boat for a comfortable and scenic ride. I can’t wait to return one day! :)

Hani Hideaway is a beautiful property, nestled in a quiet street off the Main Street and close to the islands port. It looks exactly as it does on Instagram and in the pictures, the attention to detail is spectacular. The gorgeous decor makes it a place of serenity. The staff are super attentive - I was unwell one day of my trip and the care and attention they gave me to make sure I had what I needed was like I was part of the Hani family! There is even a Hani guitar which they’ll play for you upon request! The cocktails are delicious and so is the tapas style food menu, and breakfast is superb full of fresh fruits (including mango’s and papaya) grown on the property itself!

Everything, we couldn’t fault a thing. All members of staff were very helpful and so welcoming. The hideaway was a little cosy paradise. We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was amazing with made to order drinks and options every day. Great air con in the spacious room, cleaned TWICE daily, comfy large bed and everything was styled perfectly. We liked that the hotel had refillable glass water bottles in the rooms and no plastics. We would definitely recommend paying the extra for a suite. Good location close to the harbour

+ This place lives up to its stellar reviews, and we haven't found anything better on Gili Air. The bedrooms and common areas boast beautiful decor with meticulous attention to detail. + The breakfast spread offers a wide array of options including bowls, eggs, smoothies, and more. Additionally, there's a variety of coffees and teas to choose from, along with two freshly squeezed juices and a Healthy Shot, setting the perfect holiday ambiance. + Conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk from the harbor, the hotel offers free bikes for exploring the island. + The staff are exceptionally welcoming, offering welcome drinks and providing insights into the best spots on Gili Air. They even provide a map highlighting cafes and ideal spots for catching the sunrise or sunset. The rooms are cleaned twice daily and always maintained impeccably. + We also enjoyed a private snorkeling trip arranged by the hotel, which accommodated our schedule and preferences.

- There are a few very minor drawbacks. The mattress on our bed wasn't as comfortable as we'd hoped, which is crucial for a good night's sleep, especially in a quality accommodation. - Additionally, being added to a WhatsApp group as a guest can feel overwhelming at times, though it does offer useful information. I wish the information was more compacted. - Finally, the activities offered by the hotel seem slightly overpriced compared to other options available on the island. (These are just details… it was amazing) :)

Our first impression of the hotel was perfect, exactly what we hoped from a tropical island stay. A beautiful pool, 'lobby' and mango trees. Besides the beautiful ambiance and decor, the staff made this experience especially superb. Any question or request we had was instantly handled by Winda or Johnny, who were both super friendly, as was all the rest of the staff too. Really highly recommend this lovely place to anyone, we were so sad to have to leave.

There wasn't much that needed improving, especially for a newly opened accommodation so many things were already right. Besides this the owners and staff were super open to feedback, so any small thing was handled immediately.

The facilities are great: 1- The garden is just beautiful and cooler than outside, even if you just want to relax reading and don't want to use the swimming pool. 2- The breakfast area is quite nice too, with a relaxing garden view. 3- The rooms are big enough, super clean and with perfect aroma every time we got in. The staff is very friendly and really accommodating ( checking that everything in the room is OK if you go out for lunch dinner or just to the beach).

The only thing I didn't like is that I had to leave. I wish Hani Hideaway was my home 😁

A truly wonderful stay! The homely, cosy feel mixed with the beautiful aesthetic makes this the perfect boutique hotel for anyone looking for a high end place to stay and for a very reasonable price . The staff were attentive, kind, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure every need was met. The owners were equally wonderful and made you feel part of their family hosting ‘family dinners’ so that guests could get to know them and each other alike. A beautiful touch that I had not experienced before. All the food was delicious, the rooms beautifully designed, clean and included anything you may require, from beach towels to sun hats. All in all a 10/10 hotel, I can’t recommend it enough and hope to return again soon!!
