The hotel is large with amazing facilities. The bedrooms were a good size and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.. Breakfast is a variety of food and is great. The hotel is right across from Legian beach and is amongst a plethora of restaurants with the main shopping, Legian street, a five minute walk away. Seminyak is a 10min walk on the beach. We spent most of our time in the pool. The food ordered through pool bar was great and so was the service. The staff were lovely and you were always greeted. We normally stay in the Padma but wanted a change. We would normally pay around $6000 at the Padma but Kumala Pantai is now our favourite and priced incredibly low for what you get. There is a spa which is priced really well and the massages are amazing. You do have to keep in mind this is not a modern Hilton hotel it is extremely traditional and beautifully laid out with gorgeous gardens, paths and statues placed everywhere. If you want modernised, boring, culture less hotels you may want to look elsewhere but what appeals to most that go to Bali is the culture which this hotel is beautifully dripping in.

The staff is the best. Polite and always there to help. Great hotel, the garden is just stunning. Big room with nice balcony. Very good breakfast, tasty food and variety. Clean pool. We also used it with our baby 1 and a half year old and we hadn't incidents with bacteria or something. Thank you!

The towels were not so white as they supposed to be but I think the problem is with the water in Bali because we stayed at another two hotels in Bali and we encountered the same situation.

My wife & I stayed here from 24/12/22 thru to 1/01/23. Our room was B-16 in Bima block. The Hotel Kumala Pantai for us was a perfect hotel for Location ,Value & quality. It is close to the beach & in a great location in Legian. Check in was relative smooth (considering it was 12am in the morning) & we went to our room. Room B-16 had huge bed (maybe King) & was reasonably soft for an Asian Bed. The room had a balcony, fridge & A/C was constantly cold. Bathroom had a walk in shower, bathtub & toilet in this area. We were on the third floor & there was no elevator. there are two pools & both have bar service. The hotel grounds are very well presented & quite nice to walk around in. We really enjoyed our stay & & would recommend a stay here for all types of family units. Breakfast was awesome every morning & you'd struggle to find something you didn't like. The Sands Restaurant is great value & the food & service is excellent.

We loved our stay at Kumala Pantai, fantastic beach location close to all the shopping and restaurants, huge beautiful rooms, gorgeous gardens, breakfast buffet was delicious and all other meals great too. 2 pools, swim up bar, day spa, friendly staff, it had it all! We'll be back!

Everything, our room B08 was in a great location, always kept clean. The staff were ever so friendly and beautiful people. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The meals in the restaurant at night were delicious. The grounds are so beautiful and the location of the Hotel so perfect, right opposite the beach and so close to shopping.

Sometimes hard to find a lounge chair around either pool due to ignorant people placing their towels on them and going out for hours on end. The Staff are too nice to say anything or remove the towels after the allocated "1 Hour if not being used".

location is perfect, Beach one way, shopping the other, easy to get to Seminyak and Kuta , gardens are amazing, hot water everyday in the gorgeous stand alone shower, in house massage wonderful and well priced, croissants, omelette and home made jams my favourite at breakfast. Aircon worked perfectly, balconies are private and spacious all with beautiful garden views, We got pool view and loved it, I’ll be back again in a flash.. thanks 🙏🙏

The gardens were lush and tropical with beautiful night lighting. Two gorgeous swimming pools with one having a swim up bar. The staff were so friendly and courteous and the rooms were clean and spacious. Beach side location was very convenient and we were able to walk to both Kuta and Seminyak.

Our room was in H block which was close to the road. Around 6.30am it started to get noisy each day, not excessively but would have preferred a pool view room. The bed was a bit firm for me but that's a personal preference.

Loved being able to alfresco dine at any time of the day with a view of the beach across the road. Relaxing music in the morning and more upbeat entertainment in the evening. Great atmosphere. Great choice of buffet breakfast. Friendly attentive staff. Loved the amazing gardens and their cheerful staff who were meticulous.

Loved the firm bed but not a lot of give. Would have preferred to have had a top sheet as too hot for doona. Not used to the soft feather pillows. Would have to agree with other reviews about average wifi and it would be great to have a comfy lounging chair or two in the room given the stay was 2 weeks not just overnight.

Oasis in the heart of Legian. Beautiful gardens, beautiful pools , great breakfast, very nice room.

People would leave towels, belongings on the lounger chairs by pool to reserve them, which made it difficult at times to find a free one. There is a notice up saying belongings will be removed after a certain time but this didn't appear to happen
