Friendly staff at reception.

There was no hair dryer. In-room massage was very nice, but the lady offered "special massage" (if you know what I mean), and such kind of offer shouldn't be made if the massage is officially offered by hotel.

All services, and facilities are great. No further comments. Its just that we constantly being reminded by the staff of different issues. I stayed here booking 4 rooms, one of them is with the access to the pool room. Total we had 8 adults staying. I know my family is from a remote area and staying in a hotel is not something that is done on regular basis for them. Things like, we were not approached by a security guard in the pool, telling us that its not allowed to eat food from outside in the pool, in fact we ate some fruits we brought from home while chilling on sun bed exactly in front of our pool access room. The phrase I remembered the security guard says was ‘ economy guests cant brought outside food’ and i was like: is it damn hotel or seating zones in a flight: economy hotel guests? Like we look like ‘orang kampung’ ? One of our family member took swimming towels more than two, and she was approached by a staff member telling her only 2 towels per room, without bothered asking for how many ppl is the towel and how many rooms are there. The my cousin responded ‘we booked 4 rooms, actually what I took is still not enough’. One more thing, my sister family brought in her kids, 2 of them are 8 and 10, were surprisingly was asked to pay 70k per kids menu. I thought kids are not counted. And never got any info that says so. Anyhow its only kids under 10, one can imagine how much they could eat for breakfast. I think staff of the premises need to retrain on how to treat people without any prejudices, and be kind to others. And I hope the premises could also mention it clearly to the guest (write somewhere) if you wanna take a little money from kids under 10 for their breakfast. This way we wouldnt raise questions. Fyi, i mostly stay in Aryaduta since years ago when ever I come to Medan, however this treatment, makes me to reconsider other options in the future.

Well done engaging a talented live band on Friday night. Standard of cooking for a la carte and room service was better than most. Promo meals seemed well-thought out, especially the Tamini I ordered.

The treadmills at the gym all appeared in need of service. Some appeared to have electronic faults. Another was fine at walking speed, but was noisy and rough above 7.5 km/h. Consider repairing or replacing and upgrading. Some weakness in comprehension of my English, on the phone and face-to-face, resulted in minor service mistakes. Not being shown to the table on arrival for breakfast each day at the Kitchen.

Nice pool setting. The Asian buffet dinner was delicious and very good for value. The staff was helpful, friendly and attentive. I loved listen to live music in the evening at the foyer.

I booked a Premiere Deluxe room. The room was small for size and looked different than on Booking.command on the hotel website. But I got offered another room the next night when I complained.

I like the hotel so much. The decoration and the space. Thank you so much to the manager ( the nice lady ) who managed to handle my reservation problem. I am sure you still remember me because I was there for my 20th wedding anniversary. Tq for making my holidays memorable. The staff also good, polite and really helpful. Till.we meet again. Please check your booking message and alert with the customer's messages. Don't leave the conversation without any respond. Provide real info about the facilities in the room for example bathtub.

Pool was great and the room with the balcony was a plus to enjoy room service and a drink. Didn't seem like it was overly busy too so it was pleasant to have some privacy. They had a really convenient way of handling grab drivers. This made pick up and drop off very simple. Good location close to plenty of food and coffee options.

Only one elevator which made going up and down a bit of pain since the elevator would need to service all guests. Only one restaurant on site that only offered buffet style meals. This made the balcony dining much more worth it!

Great hotel, lovely helpful staff and very clean. Large room and comfortable bed. Nice to hang around the pool. Massive buffet breakfast (extra cost). Good place to stay for a couple of nights or on arrival/departure to Sumatra. Good value for money.

In central Medan which is pretty chaotic and not the nicest if places to walk around. Allow for 90 minutes minimum to get to the airport.

Very comfortable stay after our jungle trek and before our flight. Very nice hotel for the price that you pay, clean and spacious room and very friendly staff (really felt like a 5* hotel). We were super surprised when we arrived, comparing what we got for the price! The room service was also affordable, friendly and yummy.

The pool was open only until 8 p.m. so we were not able to use it, it would be great if it stayed open longer!

The check-in & check-out process was a breeze. Wide spread of food for breakfast buffet. View from the room was fantastic, facing the swimming pool and mountains. With clear skies, the sunrise will be a magnificent moment.

Would appreciate if the water at the swimming pool was heated. The furniture look tired. No lift! luckily we had porters to carry our luggage to the 3rd floor.

The young house maid Elisa was outstanding. Not only did she do an excellent job cleaning my room but she spoke very good English, communicated well and was very helpful with all of the questions I had about Medan. She is an excellent employee.

The rooms are very old and worn and could do with a touch up. Some things did not operate as well as they should.
