I liked everything about the 101 Hotel. From the front steps of the building all the way to the rooftop lounge on the "11th" floor.

What I didn't like huh. Well I guess that I had to leave so quickly but I will return soon!!

We were staying here because we had a layover in Jakarta to Yogyakarta but the hotel was amazing. We had drinks at the rooftop and there was live music with the sweetest people. They asked if we wanted to sing with them (which we didn't) and were genuinely interested in our travel story. The hotel staff was amazing and so, so kind. We ordered drinks and food, we had the best fried Tempeh we ever had here. Definitely recommend staying here.

The drive to the hotel was quite a hassle at the airport with the shuttle bus.

We stayed for 1 night only as we had some family matters in Jakarta, hence we chose a stay near the airport and this hotel is about 20 minutes or lesser drive ( depending on traffic) from/to the airport. Before I arrived in Jakarta, the hotel had been sending few messages regarding the shuttle pick-up from the airport to hotel. At first, I felt a bit annoyed, but then I realised that they were ensuring my arrival at the airport up to the hotel will be seamless. Yes indeed, as this was my first trip to Jakarta, finding the meeting point after the arrival hall was chaotic but thanks to Pak Arif, whom have my phone number, swiftly after that we were on board the comfortable shuttle van. Let me first give my review on the hotel facilities. The hotel room was clean with new modern features/fixtures and everything in working order. The TV came with many channels and all in HD! There were 2 lifts going to our 7th floor and it is super fast. The breakfast was marvellous especially the several Indonesian 'sambal' eg sambal merah, hijau and colok. If you're on short stay, you will get to taste some of Indonesian cuisine just through the breakfast. At what I like most was the Indonesian hospitality of the hotel staff, superb. For example, when I went into the room, I realised that I'd forgotten to bring my power socket adapter. I called the reception if they could provide an adapter and within 3 minutes, a gentleman was at my door with the adapter.

If you plan to visit the City Centre, probably this hotel was a bit far off. Anyhow the concierge team is always there to make any kind of transportation arrangements. If one day the hotel decided to carry out any refurbishment works for the bathrooms, I suggest to change the shower taps(hot & cold) to a single tap control. Now you have to adjust the hot & cold water taps to get the right warm water. But if you want to shampoo your hair and turn off the water, you have to do the adjustment back again, which is inconvenient.

Room and bed are comfy, shuttle bus service is excellent, good amenities, very helpful staff specially shuttle driver Pak Arif. Cant say about breakfast but did order the soto ayam which was very good.

Small matters have big impact. Found a dead small cockroach on the bed, which the staff did apologize before we checking out. Overall i have a nice stay and it is a good hotel.

Great location for a layover between arriving in Jakarta and moving on to another island. Room was large, clean, pool was lovely, breakfast was excellent value. Staff were very friendly. Ten minute shuttle from airport. They met us as we arrived. Return shuttle was scheduled every hour on the hour.

I had seen that there was alcoholic drinks at the rooftop bar but there were none when we visited. Poolside bar had nothing at all to buy (couldn’t buy any water).

All-you-can-eat breakfast was fantastic. Pool was nice, although they need to clean the bugs out more regularly. Rooms were clean, comfortable, with mini-fridge, safe - very modern.

Communication about shuttle bus was terrible. We didn't know where to go to get shuttle, no-one met us at airport, and we waited 1 1/2 hours, trying to call hotel with no answer, before finally taking a $20 taxi. Fitness room was tiny and HOT (29 degrees!) with A/C that did not cool the room down. It only had treadmill, bike and weights. Vegetarian options for dinner were very limited.

a very convenient and superb room. room is spacious, i stayed in connecting room with my kids. we didnt go out to have any meals , just ordered room service menu of ayam bekepak set. it was delicious, enough for 5 of us. hotel peovide free hourly shuttle seevice to airport which took aboit 15 min jurney. the wifi speed is very fast.

the toilet door is a bit tricky to operate…just dont let your kids to lock from inside, even w easults have difficulties with it

Easy communication with the shuttle driver who was at the airport when my friends and I arrived. Check-in was smooth and the concierge was pleasant and professional. The suite was roomy, clean and just what we needed for our layover in Jakarta. The shuttle to return to the airport was timely and helpful with determining our departure location. Recommend to those traveling to Jakarta!

At booking the suite was designated as “smoke-free”, but the entire hotel smelled of smoke. Nothing the hotel can do & smoke doesn't bother us at all, but requiring that I sign a special area on the check-in form acknowledging that the room is smoke free defeats the purpose if the entire property (suite included) smells of smoke.

The customer service, the environment, everything is just practical. They got a nice rooftop bar , a coffee bar & a spacious buffet area. It’s really near the airport and they offer free shuttle service to and from the airport/ hotel. Price is also reasonable.

It’s not really near town but it’s not a deal breaker. Without traffic it’s 25-30 mins. The fare is also reasonable off peak hours.
