Many thanks to the staff, especially Adi and Ratna, who made our stay such a pleasure. Adi also took us on a day trip around Ubud and was very friendly and patient with us. We were never rushed and were able to take our time to enjoy each location. He was also a great guide and a very calm driver (which, given the traffic in Ubud, is definitley a valuable quality). Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The location is great, right in the middle of one of the main roads, close to all sorts of restaurants and shops.

As mentioned above, because the hotel is in a busy area there are lots of restaurants around. A lot of them have live music playing every night until around 10:30pm, so if you are an early sleeper you should be aware that you will hear this music in your rooms in the evening. It didn't affect our stay too much because we usually go to sleep quite late, but if you want an oasis of peace and quiet 27/7 this might not be the place for you. The hotel does have a pool but it's quite small. Also, because the courtyard has a lot of vegetation there is not enough sun coming through so if you want to sunbathe you might have a problem finding a chair that is not in the shade.

Good selection at breakfast even if you are vegeterian. Also liked free soft drinks, teas and coffees. The staff were super helpful and couldn't do enough for you. They were truly lovely people. They even made a home recipe tea the locals make to help my daughter's sore throat. And it worked instantly. Room was great.

The only issue was the music playing from nearby bars and restaurants. The staff did complain to the other establishments and the live music did stop at about 11 when they did so. But the recorded music did go on a couple of nights past 2 am and even to 4am. It may just be our room as it was closest to the the bars but you might want to think twice if you are a light sleeper.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel which exceeded our expectations. The Grand Delux room was very spacious with very comfortable beds and the garden pool area very tranquil. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice between Balinese and Western options. Afternoon tea each day and the room’s minibar were complimentary in the price and we also had 20% off food and drinks through our Booking.com reservation. This hotel is in prime location on the best shopping street in Ubud with a huge amount of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. It’s also a short walk to the Monkey Forest and Ubud Palace, which holds traditional Balinese dance performances each night. If you’ve done your homework, you’ll also know that Ubud is the best place to stay if you want to visit Bali’s most beautiful temples, rice terraces or the volcanos. Many hotels have similar facilities but what sets them apart is their service. During our stay we were made to feel like VIPs at this hotel. Every member of staff from the domestic staff up to the management were outstanding and a credit to the hotel. We really couldn’t find any fault with our stay. Highly recommended from us! We stayed 5 nights as a family of two adults and a 12 year old at the end of a three week holiday travelling across Indonesia. During our travels we stayed in accommodations ranging from £15-150 per night and rate our stays based on expectation.

Hotel was such a hidden gem and yet right in the middle of everything we wanted to do in Ubud so was perfect. The rooms were spacious and had all of the required facilities. Pool and surrounding area was always so calm and clean Towels provided on each of the beds and with the surrounding foliage it was so tranquil and unexpected considering how central it was. Breakfast had a great variety and was freshly made to order - we loved it and would highly recommend the french toast! Could not recommend the staff more to anyone, they were so helpful and always friendly chatting away to us and checking in on us. They helped us organise a spa experience which we got at the hotel which was a great massage and experience. We also had the hotel organise a full day trip for us in and surrounding Ubud where we visited 6/7 different locations including temples, rice fields, waterfalls and we had the pleasure of having Adi drive us about and we haven't stopped raving about this. He not only took us to locations we weren't even aware of but he was friendly, chatty and our own personal photographer. We were here as part of our 3 week honeymoon and of all the places we stayed Adiwana had without a doubt the best staff - when we return to Ubud we will not think twice to book here again

The only downside to this stay was that our room was the first room into the property so our balcony led straight to the restaurant so we had a first-night worry for safety but that was quickly squashed but because we were so close to the restaurant area when people were having breakfast in the morning we could hear the music and conversations so if we ever stay again I would request just to be a wee bit further away.

We loved this boutique hotel, located in the centre of Ubud. From our initial check in we found the staff to be wonderfully friendly and efficient, and the food and beverage service was exceptional. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and the whole vibe of the hotel is relaxed and peaceful, although the location is so central, with an easy walk to the monkey forest, the markets and other sights like the palace.

THE BEST HOTEL WE HAVE EVER BEEN TO! 10000/10. The staff is so kind and personable. The know you by name and are so willing to help with anything from planning activities and spa services to just carrying your bag. Ratna at the front desk is the best! She is so friendly and makes you feel at home right away. The hotel property is centrally located in Ubud and walking distance to almost everything. A 10min walk to the Monkey Forest and temples. A 5min walk to the Ubud Art Market and the morning market. The hotel supplies drivers for whatever you may need. The drivers are so friendly and can be your own personal tour guide and tell you all about the local customs, traditions, and recommendations. The ROOMS ARE TO DIE FOR! The are beautiful and so comfy. Overall the hotel is absolutely amazing!!! Can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Honestly could not fault a single thing. The staff were so lovely, really friendly and remembered all of our names. Nothing was too much for them and they were always around to help out if we needed anything! Not to mention the rooms were so clean, breakfast was delicious and service was wonderful. We loved the hotel too. The location was perfect as it is so central but really felt like our own oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The rooms were beautiful, so perfectly decorated we felt instantly relaxed and calm inside. Would highly recommend staying here. We would definitely come again.

The location was great. It was near the palace and monkey forest. I’m about a 12 minute walk to market. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The facilities were great. The pool was very relaxing. The water is cool after hot days walking around the city. The staff was absolutely amazing. When we arrived, there was a fresh fruit platter in our room, all the items in the mini bar are free, we got a free bottle of white wine. The staff was very attentive.

1. part of the property is built over bars and restaurants so there is very loud live music playing until around 11 PM. If you are on the half of the resort that is over the bar be prepared for loud music. In fact, we had to change rooms because the noise in our room was very loud, especially when you were getting up early for Tour. It felt like the band was in the room. 2. You typically order the breakfast the night before and your options are fairly limited. 3. You can hear a lot of the road noise, but I think that would happen in almost all the hotels in the main area of Ubud.

Although located smack in the middle of town Adiwana offers tranquility and peacefulness. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and the shower is great. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

I didn’t dislike anything but note that the room was musty - perhaps because of ongoing humidity. The cushions on deck chairs / loungers have seen cleaner days and could do with freshening up; and each lounger should be set up every day - and refreshed with new towels through the day. Also the hotel could have done with a business centre and gym.

A beautiful, boutique style resort, Adiwna rooms are large and nicely decorated, with all appliances in top condition. We were thankful to be upgraded to a grand adiwana room. The staff are wonderful, attentive, and greet you every day by name. A lovely pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens, giving all rooms a sense of privacy. The location is spot on, with plenty of bars, spas, restaurants, and shops at your doorstep. The daily breakfast selections are tasty and plentiful, with barista coffee included. We loved our stay at Adiwana Monkey Forest and can't wait to come back!

We were in room number 109, which is nicely situated by the pool and away from the restaurant and reception, so very peaceful. I would try and avoid the rooms directly across from the restaurant as they would be exposed to some street noise.
