absolutely charming and so beautiful. Loved eveyrhting about this hotel, location, breakfast, villas, and the whole architecture. Staff very friendly, and the rooms were very nicely laid out. The roof deck was also great. Pools were also very good, and most importantly the friendliness of the staff. Complimentary Yoga was a great gesture, and totally worth trying. What a wonderful experience in a Balinese Village-like hotel.

They can improve so much, the shampoos, the soaps, were very light and do not work well, no conditioner provided, very few towels left for guests, and the bathrooms definitely need extraction since the toilet is open to the whole bathroom. Staff did not allow any kind of late check out which was so confusing since we checked it at 2am and needed more time and we begged for an extra hour and they did not allow us, even though we were spending a lot of money. This was not nice.

A truly beautiful property surrounded by natural beauty.

I did not like the self check in or web check in upon arrival. It's off putting that you have to check in yourself in while the staff sit there and watch - something they could easily do. It's annoying and unwelcoming as the first thing you experience upon arrival.

Amazing hotel right off Ubuds center, with 2 beautiful pool areas, a river, a pool restaurant and many spots for romantic dinners. Food, no matter if breakfast, lunch, pool snack, drinks or dinner, was always delicious. Our highlight was the floating breakfast as well as the forest dining or lagoon dining. Such a special experience. I also want to give a big compliment to the staff- they were so friendly, helpful, and going all out and always had everything under control. Really 5 star service. We would love to come back, just cause everybody was so nice!

Nothing, but a kettle in the rooms could be an upgrade.

This place and our stay was amazing! The staff was so great throughout our 3 days and the location and overall resort was great--the pools, yoga, rice terrace--all of it is included and made our stay that much better. Highly recommend!

We didn't try the food as we opted to try more of the local places in Ubud. I did hear it was pricey

The resort is beyond beautiful and so well kept. The choice of two pools is great and the staff are really wonderful and do their best to provide a great service. The location is great, not too far from the center of Ubud and the transfer provided by the hotel is really useful. One highlight is the spa, I tried to Kamandalu package and it was wonderful. The yoga instructor was really great, I don't normally enjoy yoga but thanks to him it was so enjoyable.

If you are a light sleeper, I don't recommend the chalet - you can hear a lot of noise above if you are on the ground floor. It's 100% worth it to upgrade and avoid this (even better to have a private pool villa).

- Large room with a very large bed - Infinity pool overlooking the trees was beautiful - Shuttles to Ubud center were useful

- Breakfast could be better - Room was a little dated and overall upkeep of the place could be a bit better

Kamandalu is located just in the forest with a perfect valley-forest view pool rooms and the hotel is divided into so much small parts that they didn't break the 'inside forest' vibe. It is just in the center and believe me if you see 5km on the map and think that what a deal it's just 10 mins, it is not in Bali. It is probably 1 hour with those tiny roads and traffic. So Kamandalu is perfect location. Maybe you are looking for a newer hotel but Kamandalu is old yes but very good. Cause the newest ones don't have such a good location. We enjoyed the room services cause it was a pool villa so we didn't use the restaurants or common pool area that much but being visited by monkeys in the morning by the pool was exceptional. I loved the view of the room and location the best. Spa services was very great also.

Breakfast was open buffet so as you can imagine not so much options comparing to other hotels we stayed in Bali I didn't like the breakfast at all.

The property was completely clean and beautiful and the staff was absolutely amazing! They assist with your every need in a warm, kind way. The staff welcomes you everytime they see and remember your favorite food and drinks. I miss the staff more than anything!

the property was absolutely beautiful! The room and property were very clean, they clean your room twice a day and the location was excellent! Only a 5 min ride to the main area filled with restaurants and bars. the hotel also has incredible dining options and a lovely swim up pool

Everything exceeded my expectations, starting from check-in process. They gave us a free room upgrade, accommodate our requests quickly, were really helpful. Great breakfast, very spacious rooms with good cleaning service, two nice restaurants. We also attended morning yoga sessions and enjoyed them. Both pools were enjoyable. Staff was very hardworking and friendly.

Only one thing i can complain about. Water flow was very slow in the shower. I get that it might be for environmental reasons but it really was not enough for a good/quick shower.

I stayed in valley pool villa I really enjoyed it was really amazing in all aspects, large pool with the exotic jungle view, large bathroom with hot tub that they prepared the flower decoration as a welcoming for our honeymoon. expect frogs and lizards at the garden since you’re in the jungle. it better to always keep the doors closed to prevent them entering your room during. clean: 10/10 service: 10/10 outside of the room there are bunch of places to relax, eat and drink. beside they have many activities inside the hotel which you can book with extra cost which I strongly recommend you to have the picnic boat lunch. infrastructure: 10/10 facilities: 10/10 beside these their staff is incredibly kind and friendly they are always willing to help you with anything. special thanks to Sataria and Seni that they were extremely helpful during our stay🙏🏼🙏🏼

The infinity pool could have been better up to a standard of the other facilities inside kamandalu.
