The room was lovely and spacious with everything you would expect in a good Hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly The food was very good and the breakfast the following morning was again lovely. The area that it sits on is an amazing part of Ireland and within a small drive you can also visit some other amazing places
Apart from having to walk to the other building for breakfast as we were in the Lodge, but the friendly Staff soon make up for the small walk as they go above and beyond to make sure you are having a great time.

We stayed in the Lodges. 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to ensure we got what we needed. The room was excellent and very clean and quiet. The food was good but an order for a “medium rare steak” was close to well done with just a shade of pale pink. Basic stuff. The other dishes were ok but poorly presented. A shame because it’s a great place with a really friendly ambiance and great staff and there are so many things to do in the locality.

The location was beauriful in the incredible weather we had . The breakfast was just rite for me & my friend , everything cooked to perfection & hot when most hotel buffets are lukewarm at best..
Because we were on a golf trip , one nite was booked by me & one by golf club. We asked to stay in the same room both nites & it was arranged but second day our room was not serviced. It wasnt a big problem but probly was an oversight on the reception team .

Great buffet for breakfast with cold and hot food options! Staff greeted us with a smile and we were seated promptly. They were on hand to serve us coffee or tea and asked if we needed anything. We also had dinner there one night. There were several options available from the menu. The food was good and the service was excellent!
The only challenge for me was the height of the tub. I am a senior with some mobility issues and short.

Couldn't get a better location. Right in the heart of the garden of Ireland - Co zwicklow. Scenery beautiful. Hotel was excellent considering it is the oldest in Ireland. Maybe a bit of upgrading on rooms in the lodge. Staff were very pleasant and breakfast was excellent. They even cooked a gluten free breakfast for me as I am Coeliac. We met some friends for dinner and food was excellent with plenty of it. Would have no hesitation in recommending.
Bathrooms in lodge rooms could do with upgrading but perfectly fine for our stay.

We have stayed here a few times now and it's so comfortable, clean and great location for us . Staff are very friendly and always helpful.
Our recent stay was great. However we had a really disturbed sleep with the fire alarm going if at 4am and again at 5am. We realise these things can happen but it was only when we asked at reception why the alarm went off did we get an apology. I do think that some kind of gesture would have been nice for example a discount off another stay .....

The scenery is fantastic. Set in the Wicklow foothills, it is serene and a nice break from the rush of the towns and cities. We were in the lodge which was nothing fancy but quite serviceable. The breakfast buffet (hot and cold) was tasty and served in the main hotel across the road. The main hotel is beautiful. But the best part of our 2 day stay was our breakfast hostess, Sylvia. She was friendly and helpful and went the extra mile giving us directions to Glendalough. What a great ambassador for the hotel and area.
The lodge is a bit dated, worn furniture, etc. and the bathroom shower was hard to keep turned to shower from tub.

Breakfast was very good. In fact we slept in and missed breakfast on the first morning. Syleva, and Liz looked after us,however by providing s lovely take away breakfast, which we enjoyed at the outdoor table at the Lodge. They were bith so kind anx helpful. Thank you. We also really enjoyed the lovely meal and atmosphere at the Outside inside restaurant dow at the lodge on the second evening. It was superb. We also found the gardnener to be so pleasant snd helpfu.
We did not enjoy the lack of restaurant in the main hitel. All that was available was a bar menu which showed lack of imagination. Bar was also very noisy!
