We encountered a lovely and friendly welcome ahead of our five night stay. Eleanor was personable, accommodating and made us feel at ease in her home. She gave us good insight with regards to places to see and things to do. Our room was spacious, clean and had plenty of storage. The bathroom was a good size. Adjacent to our bedroom was a lounging / TV area. It included a small refrigerator and glasses available for our use. Wifi was good, fast, free and reliable. There was a great choice for breakfast, the cooked variety was lovely and freshly made to order. It’s rural location is ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Views of the countryside (Galtee mountains, cows, guinea fowl etc) from the dining room and TV room were picturesque. The nearest town of Cahir was three miles away and boasted a few dining options and supermarkets. We were so glad we found this gem. Thank you Eleanor and Sean Beth and Alastair

Nothing, everything was brilliant

Quiet and very relaxing working farm location with a delightful host Eleanor who could not have done more to be welcoming and share info about the area and their farm. I loved the upstairs scenic nook to sit and reflect in the evening. Room was well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and set me up for my day! Easy to find, set back from road with plenty of parking on gravel forecourt. Very quiet setting, perfect for me.

Small fixable things only. Bedroom door rattled a lot with through draft when my window was open (it was a hot night!). Snug bathroom with folding door that didnt quite close properly. Ok for solos but might be awkward for a couple.

I loved everything about this place. The rural location suited me perfectly, and yet it is so close to the town of Cahir. I originally booked for 2 nights and had to stay for a further two nights. Although the b&b was booked up, Eleanor put me up in the sheapards hut. It couldn't have been a more pleasant stay. Very comfortable, the hut was divine with its outdoor area and also had an extremely comfortable bed, hopefully I will get to stay here again in the future.

Everything. The view of the mountains from the stairs landing was spectacular. The lovely breakfast we got every morning made by Eleanor. I loved hearing the cows, hens, guinea fowl, two little dogs and a cat. The peace and quiet there was heaven. Eleanor is such a lovely person, very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back again. Thanks Eleanor

The house was nestled away down a track and was very quiet and peaceful. (Apart from the farm dogs enthusiastic welcome!) The house is comfortably furnished and there is everything you could need at hand. The rear terrace had seating and a table which looked out over farmland and a range of hills . We sat and ate an impromptu picnic supper with the ducks and hens keeping us company with their "chattering" on both evenings we were there. A wonderful end to our day! Breakfast was to order and was well cooked and presented. Our host was friendly and informative about local facilities and how to get there. Our room was of a good size and was well equipped.. We were well looked after and it was a delight to be there.

Having to leave after just two nights!

This was a family home just out of town surrounded by farming. It was lovely and peaceful. The lady of the household was lovely and very helpful. The cooked breakfast was well presented and to what we wanted.

The room we were in had a sloped ceiling which caused a few head bumps during night. There really is nothing more we could fault about the property. It wasn’t really a fault. Just a minor difficulty if you are a bit tall.

Very convenient location close to Cahir, very cozy countryside accommodation. Eleonor was very helpful with tips for dining in the area and made us a good breakfast. Very friendly dog was a plus! Would reccomend!

The room may be small but very nicely decorated and with a full bathroom en suite so nothing to complain about 🙂

This B&B was located in beautiful rural Cahir, just 5-10 minutes to town. The farm was very pastoral with cows, chickens and ducks, and beautiful views of the mountains. The accommodations were comfortable and a separate sitting area with large TV and refrigerator was available to us which made relaxing in the evening very enjoyable. Eleanor was so sweet and accommodating and made a great Irish breakfast!!

Nothing, it was great.

Delicious breakfast, freshly cooked with lovely newly laid eggs. Wonderful views from breakfast table. Very assessable to interesting places and tours.

Room size was a bit tight, getting past each other to get to the toilet. Fan in shower room was loud but worked well to extract the moisture.

The location was very pleasant. Breakfast was good and our host, Eleanor, very friendly. The best use of space was made in our very compact room. It was great to have reading lights positioned on the wall behind our bed as we are both fond of reading in bed, and this is something not found in the majority of bedrooms.

It took a while to get used to the shape of the ceiling without banging our heads, but that is a small thing really.
