The property was in a lovely location close to the centre of Thurles. Although it didn’t have parking the owner offered to move his car and give us his own parking space.

The property suited us perfectly - the staff were so friendly, the food was delicious, the place was very clean. What more does one want! Although we had tea and coffee making facilities in our room the owner offered us tea/coffee on the house on arrival. The photo included with this review shows some of the lovely breakfast we enjoyed.

EVERYTHING about our stay here was above and beyond what we expected. We stayed here because it was located in the hometown my Mom grew up in and close to all my family. We never realized that the owners and their staff would feel like our family also when we left. Gary and Geraldine couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Everyone was SO friendly and the food was to die for. James (the "chef" would come out and talk with us, even remembered what we ate the whole time we were there.) The wait staff were always cheerful and you could feel that everyone was very happy there. I almost cried when we had to leave. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to my favorite place on earth, Ireland.

Very clean, incredible breakfast, and the owners were amazing!

Parking is a bit of an issue. The place is located on a one way street and there is one makeshift place to park but they have more than one room. We parked in a city lot about 40 meters away but it did require pay from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. The owner actually walked down with me the next morning to show me how to do it and he paid the one euro for two hours that we needed before we left that morning.

The breakfast and lunch were fantastic and James and all the staff we met were really brilliant , it is old fashioned but it has a real charm to the place and I loved all the photos and odds and ends around it made it homely and cozy.

There hot water ran out very quickly so we had to keep waiting for it to heat up again for us all to get a shower and I always bring shampoo & shower gel with me but I forgot as we were rushing and there wasn’t any provided but in fairness James went out and bought some for us which was so kind

A beautiful B +B over a very quaint café. The house is actually 300yrs old and full of history. We stayed in the 2 bed suite which was perfect travelling with a teenager. We had dinner and breakfast which were superb and Gary the owner was a brilliant host. There was Tayto crisps and Cadbury snacks in the rooms which we devoured and so welcome. Beautiful beds with crisp linen and gorgeous towels. Definitely a place to return to.

The heating is via a plug in radiator which was a wee bit unusual but actually fine. Bathroom was a bit cold but has a great shower.

S ! I will never forget my visit I Our stay in Ryan's Daughter was amazing ! From the time we walked in we were looked after so well ! It was like going to Ireland to visit family ! Gary, Geraldine our hosts and wonderful team were so welcoming ! The suite was beautiful and beds so comfortable ! Soft fresh towels everyday ! As for the food ! We would travel Ireland to eat there ! James 's home cooked dinners and Geraldine's wonderful baking ! We were spoilt so much ! My daughters Erin and Tierney loved being there ! We can't wait to go back next year for longer.. We will miss you all xxx Mary, Erin and Tierney Shanahan

We had the pleasure of visiting Thurles Tipperary last Saturday to perform on stage for their 1st outdoor festival. What can I say you are truly the best ABBA fans we’ve had in a long time. Very welcoming and accommodating to everything we needed Thought things couldn’t get any better then I met Gary & the beautiful Geraldine owners of Ryan’s Daughters B&B not only did they both go out of their way but left the festival to bring us up to settle in after our performance I can’t say enough about this establishment It has so many different quirks about it to the decor & atmosphere they have created The breakfast was full of choice From homemade scones, Jams to the much needed fry up to finish it off Topped of with any amount of tea/coffee & scones packed up ready to go when we checked out x I wish you both and your staff every luck in the future in your business, it’s people like you that make anyones stay one not to forget Huge shout out to Jim Ryan & committee also for organising your wonderful festival along with the surrounding local businesses to get it off the road It’s no wonder this town has a lot to offer with a community of people like yourselves Definitely see you again in the future!

- The room was super cute and spacious, with both a queen and single bed, and ample walking space. - The staff were super lovely and welcoming, even offering to move their own car so we could park opposite overnight. - The included breakfast was HUGE and very, very delicious. - Located in the heart of Thurles, walking distance to everything.

Myself and my daughter staying for a night got such a lovely welcome. Food was lovely. We needed an early morning start and it was no problem getting our breakfast at 7.30am. Staff were all lovely and we had a bit of banter. The breakfast was great. It's a quirky decor that looks so homely and welcoming and cosy. I would definitely recommend here.Its in the heart of the town.

I had a wonderful stay overall. The room was comfy and clean, the staff were all so friendly and the place had a wonderful happy atmosphere about it. It was clear from the amount of locals coming and going from the restaurant that Ryan's Daughter is a popular spot in the community.
