Beautiful view from the room overlooking the gorgeous bay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Frederique was very engaging and provided great information about the local area, pubs and restaurants. She cooked excellent and varied, hot breakfasts as well, which were very much appreciated. Parking was private and convenient. All in all, we had an excellent stay.
No negatives. The location is well beyond walking distance to the center of Clifden (10-minute drive) - but we knew this when we booked. For us, the view/comfort on Lower Sky Road outweighed being within walking distance to town, although this could perhaps be an issue for some.

The warm welcome & view where magnificent, the breakfast was extraordinary and handmade with love, we got great recommendations from the host for our further journey, the B&B has a real calming/ quiet vibe
in some parts the room might profit from renovation. Also whilst we loved the quiet & relaxing atmosphere this also meant playing games or eating take-away dinner in the Common area felt "too loud" and a bit out of place as it is all an open plan

The location / views were amazing. Frederique took great care to present the food beautifully, including delicious sweet treats each day. It felt like we were ‘abroad’ because of Frederique’s nationality and that of the other guests. Our room was tastefully and subtely furnished with a giant sized bed.
No TV but really we shouldn’t need one given the amazing view in that beautiful location! More shelves to put stuff on would have been helpful

Beautiful host who took care of us very well. Breakfast was lovely. The room was a little cold at night and during the night. The bathroom had no heating in it so was quite chilly in the morning. A little dressing table or shelf for grooming items would be good to have. It's a lovely location and home but just a bit far out from Clifden for us. If we were to stay in Clifden again, we think we'll probably stay in the town.
Very little, except that the room was a little cool. It's an ideal place for anyone looking for a magnificant breakfast view and really lovely host. Our trip was to Clifden and south towards the coast so this venue was just a little too far from the town for us but very easily accessible via taxi which was prompt and very friendly.

We stayed at Clifden Bay lodge a couple of nights during which we explored Clifden. The host is absolutely lovely, she prepares a full homemade breakfast every morning and gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants and live music pubs. We felt very welcome. The room was cozy with enough storage space and a gorgeous view. We would definitely visit again.

A lovely warm welcome to this beautiful small B&B in a wonderful location. The view of the sea just across the road was amazing even on a rainy day. Frederique asked what we would like for breakfast the evening before and in the morning the breakfast was excellent. She also gave us some recommendations for restaurants and pubs in Clifden. The room was very comfortable and perfectly clean. I would love to come back here and see the Sky Road again.

This is a little gem of a find out on the western side of Ireland. French/English speaking proprietor was charming, gave us a little history of the area and some ideas to make the best of our short visit. Both of us were wishing we could stay longer due to the comfortable accomodations and beautiful scenery. Time well spent! We will remember this place.

Frédérique was a lovely and charming hostess. Very knowledgeable of things to see and off the beaten track of things to see. Every morning she served a wonderful full Irish with homemade breads. It was delightfully!

Exceptional location, by the end of the world, with gorgeous sights of the bay, but still close enough to enjoy the lively city of Clifden. The host, Frederique, gave us a warm welcome, gave great advices on what to do around (and farther...). Large comfortable room with sea view. Superb homemade breakfast in a room overlooking Clifden bay under the morning sun. Only regret, that we didn't stay longer!
