Beautiful country home/estate B&B. We had a wonderful stay. The home and rooms are lovely. Our two rooms had great water views. Beds were large and comfortable. The bathroom with showers and tubs were great. The hosts were lovely, kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Great location to Quay - short walk down the street. Would definitely recommend and wished we could have stayed longer.

We were in the attic room even though the hotel seemed very under-occupied. a long way to carry luggage without an elevator. For some reason the stairwell and landing lights weren't on during the day and it was difficult to navigate the stairs and unlock the room in the dim light. Sadly we were not made aware of the lounge and honor on arrival which would have been nice to spend some time in during the rainy evening.

Breakfast was excellent with fresh ingredients and great choices. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. From our arrival until our departure we were very impressed with the attention of very kind staff.

We were disappointed that the restaurant was no longer in operation at this lovely location. However there was a very nice restaurant nearby for evening dinner.

Stay excellent and would happily re-book. Old style very nice decoration throughout which I very much liked, also liked the background classic music during breakfast, if you are one of these people like me, very clean room. Staff very helpful for whereabouts and sightseeing. Location great for day trips.

Breakfast variety could be better.

Breakfast was at the time requested sometimes a bit overcooked but edible. The room was large and airy but there was no heat and the room was cold to sit in before going to bed. The view from our ground floor room was limited but from the dining room was very good and we could see boats on the lough

The lack of heat at night. Also they advertised an evening meal the menu was limited and we didn't eat in and found the local eateries down at the harbour and in Westport in general did not suit the older generation

Our stay at Ardmore Country House was just wonderful. We enjoyed it a lot. Our room with Sea View was exceptional, Breakfast was delicious, Staff was very very friendly. We stayed for 4 nights and it was the best part of our stay in Irland. Westport is a nice little town, very cute. Some good pubs and restaurants are nearby to the Hotel.

Ardmore Country House is great in every aspect. It is a period house set in beautiful grounds with magnificent views from Croagh Patrick to the sea and mountains below. Well decorated and beautifully furnished in country house fashion. Our bedroom was huge with the largest bed and bathroom ever. The staff were very friendly. The great breakfast was served in a dining room with those fantastic views. Approx 1 mile from the centre of the main Westport town.

My wife and I enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Ardmore Country House.

Everything was perfect, from the initial welcome to the late checkout the next day. The Ardmore exudes luxury. The room was very spacious and the bathroom huge. Views of the sea from the breakfast room. Lovely location near the old port part of town with good choice of eating places.

Great staff. Lovely old fashioned country house/hotel. It felt like the only thing missing was the golf course or riding stables ;-)

It was hard to find, and nobody, including tourism office. There was a little sign in the bushes, but without wifi it was nearly impossible.

Really nice accommodation. Rooms are very well decorated and the extra large bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast is served from a good menu selection. I would have no difficulty in recommending Ardmore on a Westport visit.
