Great location. Short walk into Westport and down to the quays. Staff were helpful and approachable. Rooms were good. Nice to be able to use the room with the Chesterfields to socialise with our large group. Breakfast was very good and plenty of variety.

Water in some of the rooms (top and first floor) stopped mid way through a shower and on another occasion the hot water ran out. The lead on the kettle wasn't long enough in room 6 meaning we had to put the kettle on the floor. It would have been nice to have had milk or milk pods to go with the tea and coffee too. Overall it was very good and I would return.

Boffin Lodge was a super place we were welcomed at Reception and asked to specify what type of cooked breakfast we’d like the following morning. Accommodated our two, elderly Patterdale terriers and everything was clean and quiet considering the number of guests staying at the premises. The breakfast buffet was delightful and the price just right. For dinner I had booked the Pantry and Corkscrew, but were unable to accommodate us and so suggested the An Port Mor, Arno’s Bistro, and Sage. We chose the latter and the food was fantastic!!!. For a relatively small town line Westport to support so many super eateries reflects the quality of the town for things to see and do.

Everything was perfect!

We very much enjoyed our four-night stay at Boffin Lodge, which we used as a base for a short cycling holiday. We were grateful to be allowed to keep our expensive bikes in a corner of the hallway overnight and we were able to store out of the way our large bike cases too, which was great. We had a quiet and comfortable back room (ensuite) and in contrast to the expensive Viennese hotel we stayed in two weeks earlier, appreciated the room kettle and plentiful supply of Barry's Irish Tea sachets! Here's confirmation that after Boffin Lodge's Full Irish Breakfast it's possible to cycle an entire circuit of Connemara via the Sheffrey Pass without need of further sustenance. Delicious and very filling!

Simply can't think of anything to fault.

Because we had a dog we had a ground floor room near the front door designed for disabled guests with a spacious wet room. Could open the windows. We had a fridge but it was noisy and took the spare plug so we didnt use it, car parking was tight but available. Conveniently located between the Quays and town so both were short walks away

First morning as the dog was not allowed in the dining room at any time i had breakfast in my room minus butter and conserves etc. However on the second morning we were both allowed to have beakfast with the dog in the sitting room which was much better although no cereals etc. (We could have gone to the dining room to collect any additional items.) Unfortunately the plumbing in one of the rooms above meant we were disturbed when guests came home post 1200 and used the facilities through the night.

The staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much for them. The choice for breakfast was good and we liked the idea of the breakfast special dishes. The room and bed were comfortable. The car parking was ample.

When we stayed the nights were very humid and we could have done with a fan in the room. The bed was king size and took up a lot of the room area so we could have done without the arm chair which would have made it easier to get to the bathroom.

Location was very close to the Quay & river walking distance to the Promenade where there was great shops & Pubs... Recommend the Towers Tavern for a great Seafood meal !!! My room was spacious & the bed was very Comfortable Facilities great..... Breakfast was a Delicious Full Irish Breakfast cooked by Carmen one morning & Trish the next morning Many Thanks.....

No Complaints whatsoever......

spotlessly clean throughout, nice lounge for guests to read in, great breakfast selection. small details like the China cups in the bedroom and the toiletries on a little dish made it a real treat

not ready for check in at 2pm. - simple fix would be to change check in times advertised. staff should not talk about management problems or how hard their work is to guests. when asking about gluten free options, it is not appropriate for staff to tell guests that their child was told to avoid certain foods but he didn’t need to, the implication being that it doesn’t matter. cook was very good and available at breakfast time to ask about the options.

We were able to bring my little dog with us as there are pet friendly rooms. Room was big tidy and clean. The breakfast room was ample and bright. Overall it looks a cozy place. The location is within walk from The Quay and the sea front. The centre of the town is a few minutes away drive. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a car park in front of it. The breakfast was lovely! We'll definitely go for it again.

Unfortunately the fridge in our room wasn't working.

The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Location was perfect for us and the room was spacious for 3 of us.

It wasn't the cleanest but wasn't dirty. We were looking for some eye drops and pulled someone else's sock from underneath the bed. There were quite a few cobwebs around the ceiling and blinds. Other than this it was clean. The beds weren't the comfiest but did manage to sleep.

Greeted on arrival with tea and cookies. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding with friendly conversations with the staff during breakfast. Room had all we needed for our stay. Very quiet location. Easy walk into Westport town and Westport Harbor. Great restaurants in both locations.
