We came for 2 nights & loved every bit of it. Comfortable lobby, with squashy sofas to people watch with a cup of tea or a glass of wine Staff were really lovely, attentive & professional. Our room on floor 4 was outstanding, great views over the coast. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our mini bottles of wine, chocolates and cupcakes were a lovely touch. We had dinner in the LuSeas Rooftop restaurant on the 1st night - stunning food & service. We had dinner on the 2nd night in the hotel bar/restaurant. It was the best roast beef dinner either of us had ever eaten! We can not wait to return. We arrived tired, worn out & a little frazzled as life can sometimes do & left feeling calm, refreshed and happy ... Cannot say more than other than thank you 😊

Great staff in restaurant- shout out to Conor who was attentive and friendly at breakfast. Location really good with fantastic views of Clew Bay and Croak Patrick. Quality breakfast with excellent choices. Upgraded to a king size bed harbour view which was really spacious with comfortable bed. Lovely touches on arrival of chocolates, cup cakes and wine.

Parking agony! Ok if you don’t have an expensive car I suppose! Cleanliness of bathroom really poor and let this hotel down. Floor dirty with stains by the bin, grout in shower orange when it should be white just needs a proper clean with some decent cleaner! Grout at shower tray black marks and scruffy by the door. Door tatty with paint pealing. Hand lotion dispenser brown when should be white ended up taking it off and cleaning it with tissues- shouldn’t need to do this ! Shower heads need good scrub invest in some Viakal! Or baking soda- basic cleaning which should be done when guests are paying for decent standard of cleanliness! Scuff marks on walls - just clean them! Little things make a big difference to first impressions!

We stayed in the balcony room. The room was stunning, complimentary wine and cupcakes, such a lovely touch. The bed was comfortable and the shower was absolutely lovely. The staff in both reception and the spa were exceptional, very kind and helpful. The spa was breathtaking and perfect for relaxing and giving yourself a little treat. We got the mud baths. The staff were so lovely and knowledgeable explained the benefits. I will 100% be visiting again. Couldn’t recommend enough

Loved everything

upon arrival and checking into our room, i was disappointed with the family room. It was grubby and cold and some of the lights / lighting did not work and it had a very unpleasant odour. So I contacted reception to let them know and they offered me two alternatives, both were smaller rooms but clean, comfortable, all the lighting worked and there was no odd smell, they smelled clean and fresh. As one of them was overlooking the harbour as per our original booking, we settled for that one. The staff on reception, Raquel and Shane were super professional and handled my matter most professionally. Later that day, we had some wine and chocolates and complimentary little cakes as a gesture from the hotel which I was very touched by. All the staff were lovely, the pool and the spa was also lovely but we were restricted to using the pool at family times only as I was holidaying with my two teenagers. This would have been fine but it seemed all adults were also allowed to use the pool during these times so it felt a bit unfair I have to say. I loved the location, lovely outlook over the harbour - definitely worth selecting one of those rooms and having a super view of Croagh Patrick and opportunity for a short or long walk by water on your doorstep. It was also conveniently located to the town, we walked in and out on one of the days to go to the super cinema in Westport town. Finally, all the staff in the restaurant were fantastic, excellent menu choice for breakfast and food in the downstairs eaterie, The Coast was just superb!!! We ate so well and it felt like a personable stay - we were there for 4 nights. I will definitely return. Thank you Raquel and Shane for your fantastic service!!

We booked a superior coastal view double which was lovely. Considering the noise in a busy area like it, we heard nothing at all once the windows were closed. We arrived to find an anniversary card, along with wine and chocolates from the hotel which was such a lovely touch. We had no remote for the TV, but phoned reception and got a lovely bubbly guy called Shane who instantly dealt with it by sending up another wonderful young man called Lorcan, he took his time and made sure everything was in working order for us before he left.

I couldn't find any fault to be honest.

A group of six friends on a night away for a match in Mc Hale Park booked the Westport Coast Hotel. We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful hotel.  We were fortunate to get rooms looking out over the great views at the front of the hotel. The rooms are fantastic. Big comfortable beds, great shower rooms and spotlessly clean.  The tea and coffee making facilities were great and the complimentary cold water was much appreciated.  The reception area is lovely and all the staff throughout all areas of the hotel were friendly, helpful and courteous.  We ate in the bar and the food was excellent. The beer battered cod was fresh and crispy, beef burger and chicken wings were delicious and the Thai red chicken curry was a huge hit with the youngest member of our group who loved flavour of the creamy sauce and the generous portion of chicken.  Breakfast on the fourth floor was fantastic as well. A great selection to suit all guests in a beautiful setting with great views out over the coast. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to check out the leisure facilities on this visit but we are looking forward to trying treatments and the pool next time.  The driftwood decorating the stairwell, probably not seen by many visitors, is stunning.  Thanks all the staff for the hard work they do to make the hotel the success it is. It is a credit to you all.

A couple of small issues but nothing serious enough to prevent a five star review. Parking was hard to find when we arrived and we didn't know about the second car park further down the road. We may have missed this on the website but I would definitely add it in if it's not there. There was inconsistency in the TV channels available in the 3 rooms which wasn't an issue for us really but would be good if the same offering was available in all rooms.

EVERYTHING was amazing. Robert at reception took such excellent care of me when I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel I had planned in Galway and needed to come two days early. It was such a great welcome after a very long day of driving, and I found the room was clean, huge, warm in the cold and with a lovely view. Bathroom was spotless, bed was comfy, and the restaurant on the main floor is excellent. SO delicious. The view from LuSeas on the top floor is wonderful, and the breakfast included with stay is amazing. Every staff member I interacted with, from the hospitality staff to the front desk to the porters was friendly and helpful. I even had a massage at the spa from Kashia, and it was amazing!! Westport itself is a sweet little town. Went to Mass at the local parish and it was reverently celebrated and beautiful. Westport is a very easy jumping block to go to so many other places- Knock shrine, Galway, Achill island, and much more. I have NO hesitations in recommending it to anyone!!

The room we booked was dark at the back of the hotel - on request they upgraded me to a front room overlooking the harbour at a reduced rate. Great location, lovely room nice bar and restaurant. Nice place for breakfast with good coffee and buffet.

Cooked breakfast a little disappointing, bacon and scrambled egg obviously cooked in advance and a bit dried out from being kept warm. There is some noise from The Towers bar on weekend nights, but not too bad and stops at 11.

Breakfast was very good. Restaurants both ground floor were super. The view from the restaurant on the 4th floor was super and added to the experience. The food was excellent. The friendliness and service from the staff was of a very high standard.

The only negative was on the first night. The heat in the room made it very difficult to sleep. This, however, was fixed the next day, when requested.

The hotel was amazing... beautiful decor throughout & the bedrooms were very spacious, with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable! Liked the mini fridge in the room stocked with a couple bottles of water each morning... nice wee touch.

Although the hotel had free parking, which was great, it was a very tight squeeze getting into it & spaces were hard to find, especially at night coming back from being out all day, but if you waited, there was always some coming out, so not such an issue that'd put us off visiting again!
