Cool design, great location, kind staff at the reception lent us an adapter, handled the package we had delivered to the hotel. The lobby smells great :) Train station is really close - 10 min from room to platform, including ticket purchase

Please heat the pool more!!! There is no storage/wardrobe in the room, not possible to unpack. The restaurant is not working all day, during lunch time while having just drinks, we were asked several times if we wanted to order food and when wanted to at 3 pm, we were told the kitchen is closing? It is 18 degrees, no need for a siesta. 15 EUR for a pancake :/

The Dean in cork is a bigger version of The Mayson in Dublin (we’ve stayed a view times-same owners) It exceeded our expectations in its size and facilities. All the rooms are “super rooms” which are a good size and the hotel itself its 3x the size The lobby was beautiful and the swings were included (like the dean in Dublin) Bed was so comfortable best bed I’ve ever slept on. Showers amazing as always. We didn’t get any food. The staff were okay -not friendly not rude - doesn’t bother us.

The €100 security deposit is a bit excessive. Security deposits are understandable but actually charging it upfront can leave people stuck. I personally didn’t mind but our window was looking at the trains and the noise was very loud but they don’t run at night so if you’re an early riser it’s fine!

I love the vibe in the Hotel from the moment we arrived. The staff were amazing - Shane, Saoirse and their team made us feel so welcome. Sophie's Rooftop Bar and Restaurant was fabulous - Helena made our dining experience so lovely. The train on the Hotel's doorstop was a bonus as we went to Cobh on the train and didn't have to move the car for our stay. This is a fabulous hotel that caters for all ages!

Nothing. If I was to be picky I would say car parking but having said that we parked at Kent Station Car Park and it is a just a walk across the car park.

Their room was very modern & stylish, very impressive, super cool!! Great location too, 2 minutes from Cork Kent Station.☘️☘️☘️ I stayed on a Saturday night & the lobby area became a night club like with a great DJ. A lot of happy surprises during the stay & I'd like to recommend to all my friends. I'd like to stay The Dean Dublin too.☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️

There's nothing I didn't like. It's very rare experience.

The DEAN was quite a surprise to us! Having been used to the quaint, small Irish experience thus far - the DEAN reminded me of a Las Vegas Hotel - in the nicest way! Very modern, clean and moderate sized room with beautiful bathroom. The appointments in the room were sort of rock and roll ish - hard to explain but very creative and unusual. As an American, I have to say it did not seem Irish to me - although the staff definitely were! Also a wonderful bar/restaraunt upstairs and a nice resting place bar in the lobby. The DEAN was awesome!

Nothing negative to say about the Dean!

Great location. Great vibe to the place. Really good craft beer.

Choice of vegan options was very disappointing. Only choice was a pizza on the dinner menu which was tasty but more options would have been appreciated. The vegan choice at breakfast was oat milk pancakes which were great except on our second breakfast we got our vegan pancakes with dairy!!! Luckily I asked if the ice cream was dairy as if I had eaten it I would have been in big trouble for the day as I can't tolerate milk. It would have ruined our holiday. If a dish on a menu says that it's vegan then it should be vegan. No dairy please!

Exceptional hotel, the interior design was absolutely stunning! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The quiet pool and spa were such a treat, with no pre-booking faff to deal with. We had a delicious breakfast overlooking the city on their rooftop bar. We loved our stay and little touches like original artwork on the walls and the record players in the room really made it a stand-out experience.

There is no parking at the hotel, but they did give us a discount to stay in the nearby shopping center car park. This is all straightforward but can be a bit of a walk with your suitcases back to the hotel once you've parked up. Being next to the train station means you hear the honk of the trains when the windows are open, but we didn't mind this too much and it stopped in the nighttime.

The rooms were good, but the spa was pretty great. The staff was really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Comfy beds and nice amenities made for a fantastic stay.

Our first night had us woken up at 6:30 am to the room shaking with loud music; it was rattling our window. We had a room on the first floor that was, apparently, right above the gym. Between the music and the shouting of the instructor we had an unpleasant morning. We were moved to another floor for the rest of our stay which was also an upgrade, so the staff definitely was quick to help us out.

Lovely property with unique features and gorgeous decor. room was a good size and fully equipped with everything you would need. Loved the little extras like the record player. Right beside the train station. was just staying for a night so didn’t use any of the features or restaurants.

The curtain in the room let in a lot of light at the bottom in the morning. There’s no parking provided (understand it’s a city centre hotel) and the recommended car park is 10 mins away. There’s earplugs provided, not sure if this is due to hearing trains or other guests, I saw a hen party group so maybe good to keep in mind if you are looking for somewhere quiet!
