A welcome card in the room with info on how things in the house operate and what guests need to know would be great. For example There is a switch on the wall of the bedrooms with an orange light going -This switch is NOT in the bathroom but it is the switch for the shower electric heating system and if it is not turned on and the light showing the shower will not operate. There need to be more coffee and tea mugs not just cups please Always short Many people drink tea and coffee from a coffee cup or mug these days Front door locking needs an instruction card Ask manager/ owner for heating to be turned on if it is cold in the House and Bedroom.

Nice, recently remodeled guest house. We had a single room on second floor, queen bed with private shower/toilet, which was fine for us. Was able to do a load of laundry, always a nice thing on a long trip. WiFi was functional and easy to access. Location was a short drive from the center of Donegal. All we were looking for a one night layover during a road trip, and this fit our needs.

Took a little bit to figure out the front door lock; had to call the owners to figure it out. Not many power outlets to recharge with, had to go behind the bed for it. The clothes washer was fine, but the clothes dryer kept cutting off after a few minutes, had to sit there and restart it every 5-10 minutes, finally had to leave with damp clothes to dry in the car. (Yes, I emptied the reservoir.)

Great location 10 mins walk into Donegal Town and good parking outside the property as well as being a relatively quiet spot. Spacious rooms, well appointed with en-suite facilities and pleased to see a bonus of shampoo and body wash as part of the en-suite facilities. Host very nice and met us at the property.

Firstly, there just wasn’t enough cups and bowls for the rooms being let unless other guests were hoarding cups in their room, we were a group of 5 in 3 of the rooms and couldn’t all get a cup in the morning. Minor thing but the mattress in our room No.5 ? had a rogue spring that kept pinging in the night when you turned over, mattress needs replacing, but wouldn’t stop us staying again.

A lovely welcome. Beautiful house. Room 5 was lovely and quiet, birds chirping in the morning outside. A small room but it's grand and compact. I loved the softer bed but my partner thought the mattress could do with being replaced as very soft and springs squeaking! You have use of the gorgeous kitchen and sunroom where we had some breakfast. No tea/coffee making facilities in your bedroom but they have tea and coffee and milk in the kitchen. Ideal to stay here and do some exploring around Donegal. Everyone so friendly. Will definitely stay again.

A few shelves for your toilet bag in the bathroom would be nice. The tap is very loose so will need fixing. But this doesn't impede your day!

I previously reviewed this house, but I had the wrong one in mind. I owe the owners an apology! This was a great place to stay. Our friends and us were the only guests and we felt like we had the entire house to ourselves. It was immaculate, the rooms and en suite bathroom was wonderful. We didn't use the kitchen other than for beverages, but it was well stocked and very clean also. The location was also good, we were able to easily walk into Donegal for dinner.

It was close to the town and on arrival very easy to check in. You had the use of kitchen facilities and an unsuited bedroom with spacious rooms and very high quality decor and a good hire shower. A modern house with excellent customer service.

The guests upstairs were very noisy in the morning. Nitva reflection on the property or accommodation but perhaps reminders in the rooms saying please respect other guest are below and above you so please keep noise to na minimum. Before 9am.

We booked late after a previous site had to cancel due to family circumstances and we were able to book Farmleigh. We were met at the property and shown around the property and also how to use the facilities. The kitchen was handy to have a cuppa. The owner also runs a seafood resturarant and booked us in with a 10% discount. All in all it was a good nights stay.

Not being able to have breakfast was disappointing although there were plenty of cafes in Donegal.

We had a wonderful stay at Farmleigh House. Excellent location with Donegal Town less than a 10 minute walk. Paul was a fantastic host, very helpful & friendly. We felt very safe & having the use of the kitchen was very convenient & saved us so much money & time. 10% Discount in the Harbor Restaurant was a great bonus & the food was fantastic there. Will definitely stay again. Looking forward to it

We traveled from New Zealand and stayed one night. The room was very clean and tidy with all the amenities needed. Unfortunately being a guest house, people are arriving home at all hours, mostly following a few drinks. As we were on the lower floor near the main door we were kept awake by these peeps talking very loudly with no respect for others. The location is close to the village where you can frequent a range of drinking holes and have a nice meal.

As this is a guest house and sharing with others then you are at the mercy of their respect.

House warm, very clean, spacious and good location. Breakfast wasn't included though tea and coffee were available . Sister, Harbour restaurant gave 10% discount and food and service were excellent. Owner very helpful.

TV room lacked comfy seating though conservatory seating was very comfy. October not best month for sitting in conservatory.
