When we arrived at the Hotel, the exterior looked ok, well maintained but nothing that makes the building stand out. The interior was unexpected and very pleasing, rustic, like an american cabin, we loved it. We loved the sea view from our room. The Hotel is located at the quieter end of town, suited to travellers looking for low key and comforable, there's lots of free parking at the seafront opposite the Hotel. There's a coffee/tea station under the stairwell rather than in the room, that was different but not a deal breaker, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the dinner and breakfast were excellent. Would stay again without hesitation. Very clean throughout.

Two little maintenance issues in the room that a regular inspection would catch, but I'm a property manager so I see things, again, not a deal breaker. Maybe make a feature of the phone in the lobby that's out of order with a professional sign, it's vintage at this stage :)

We had stayed the previous nights in another, much bigger hotel, where the breakfast was good but not exceptional. The breakfast here was like the rest of the experience - simple but personal and perfectly cooked. You felt you were a guest in a friend's house. Our favourite experience was sitting in the quiet lounge in a comfortable chair, watching the Atlantic Ocean. Its location could not be better. This hotel is traditional and perhaps outdated, but the service, location, quirkiness, cleanliness and friendliness makes the rest irrelevant.

A kettle in the room, but this was offset by a free coffee/tea machine downstairs.

Breakfast was very good and the building is very quiet, good for a restful break. The sea view was good and the room was spacious with facilities you would expect and also extra seats and a little table. I assume a second double bed had been removed and replaced with a couch - a nice touch for our 2 person occupancy. The bed was clean and very comfy. Housekeeping serviced the room everyday so the rooms are obviously kept as clean as possible. There is a bistro bar but it only opened for a few hours in the evening. We didn't really make use of it, but it seemed like a nice space and appeared to be busy. Overall it was a pleasant stay and the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The decor is a bit dated but I think it is sort of vintage themed - I just didn't get it. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room because there is a free 24 hour coffee station on the ground floor: I prefer not to have to leave the room. Some very small things that disappointed me: A shower curtain , a pet hate of mine. A bit of discolour/mould in sealant, a few hairs on tiles and mirror. All things most normal people have at home but you expect perfection in a hospitality setting. It wouldn't put me off staying again because I've experienced the same thing while staying in a more expensive hotel, it's just one of those unfortunate and perhaps unavoidable things .

Homely atmosphere Food was good and plenty Supper was amazing 10/10 Location is good

1.The Hotel should have some type of security access. Anyone could walk in and go up to the rooms or enter lounge area. 2.Very important room 23 should have the taps replaced. Old out dated taps and most important were not secured and the top falling off. The bath tap my wife also struggled to close. So just the plumbing , otherwise it was great.

Breakfast was lovely and very quickly served, with vegetarian options and a beautiful dining area. The whole decoration, especially the photos of the cats, was incredible and the staff were very, very polite. The area was overlooking Bundoran beach and the water and was breathtaking, when the weather was good. Great parking, too

Wifi did not really work in the bedroom, we were on the first floor, but it didn’t make much of a difference to our stay

Beautiful hotel. Staff were so good, from check in to the restaurant to breakfast. Could not fault them. Beds comfortable. Tables are reserved for each room for breakfast so no waiting for the excellent cooked breakfast. There is a restaurant that opens at 6.30. I suggest reserving in advance. I didn’t and had to wait until 8.30. Wonderful meal. Hotel is short walking distance to a number of pubs and other places to eat.

Breakfast very nice ( breakfast area seperate to restaurant) great choice of good quality food served at the table by friendly staff no having to get up and down to serve yourself. Rooms big and comfortable and spotless. Main Restaurant serves very high quality food with a great choice and John the Manager is so friendly and helpful. Free parking, sea views, very central. We will be back.

Maybe a tea tray in the room instead of a communal area but tha's a very small thing in the scale of all the good things
