Very friendly host who looked after us very well. Our room and bathroom were very clean, there was a kettle and tea in the room and the room was nicely decorated. The bathroom is large. The location was very good for us, there is a great pub nearby with very good food and live music. The evening we arrived we spontaneously decided to take a look at the Cliffs of Moher, but the hike took a lot longer than we thought and we arrived at the accommodation very late in the evening, the late check-in was not a problem, everything was very well organized. The view in the morning from our bedroom was breathtaking! Overall we had a very nice stay and would like to come back. Thank you for everything.

Located only a 10-15 min walk from McGanns/McDermotts/Hotel Doolin, ideally located for a night away with friends for dinner & a few drinks and we could still walk home. Excellent value for a family room, slept 4 adults very comfortably. Huge bathroom, comfy beds and pillows. Flawless self service check in but we were also met by the owner who was super friendly and made us aware the breakfast was available in the morning with no booking, if required. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to the Doolin hotspots!

Wonderfully modern and clean, great views and curtains/blinds for keeping out the light. Great facilities - modern. Great for a family. Lovely breakfast in a modern breakfast room. It's only a small 3 bedroom B&B but cannot be faulted for what it offers. Quiet also.
We didn't mind, but it is a bit of a walk down a track to the house if you want a drink at the pub for instance. My kids, 5 and 8, were fine though. I thought I was booking in Doolin and didn't realise this isn't in Doolin, this is down the road and too far (certainly in wind and rain) to walk to Doolin, so were were limited to 2 pubs for our evening meal (off season). Nonetheless, I rate a modern and clean and quiet B&B over location sometimes so I was happy!

Very easy check in to this beautiful modern accommodation. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and provided advice on local walks. A lovely comfortable bed with tea and coffee facilities and water provided in the room. Choice of continental or full Irish breakfast and they were extremely tasty. Within easy walking distance of two trad musicpubs who provide tasty meals and also Doolin Village with a variety of restaurants and shops.

Absolutely gorgeous location, just a short and enjoyable walk outside the main thoroughfare of Doolin. The view from our room of the surrounding countryside was spectacular - one of my friends visiting the west coast for the first time said she could cry at how beautiful it was. Our room was massive - 3 beds, two huge closets, and a bathroom I could run laps in. The multiple skylights in the room (and the bathroom!) made it feel like we were right in the nature. Breakfast by Pearse was exceptional, and he and his family were very welcoming.
Truly the most minor thing: in the bathroom, we would have appreciated hooks for towels and shelves for toiletries. I have no other remarks about this place. It was genuinely a 5 star experience.

It has a homely feel and the owners were very accommodating and friendly with information about the area and dining options. Breakfast was good with a good variety of options. There was tea and coffee available in the room and any request made was dealt with straight away no matter how small.
We didn’t have much of a view where we were situated in the house . (Will ask next time ) The entrance to the property is been worked on and they was many a pot hole and no lighting on the road to get up to the village.

Great place to stay, it felt very warm and inviting and check in was easy as we just grabbed our room key upon entering. The bed was probably the softest most comfortable bed ive layed on. Location was great, it was kinda secluded and peaceful just what we wanted. The owners were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was also great and parking was plenty. I will be staying here on the next trip!

The property is located less than ten minutes walk from a fantastic restaurant called Oar and two nice pubs which also served food and traditional Irish music. There are also many more entertainment and accommodation venues a little further up the road. There are also lovely views of the open fields surrounding the building.
The TV in the room was a nice modern smart TV but unfortunately did not have a signal or internet connection. We were only staying one night and had music on our phones to distract us so we didn't bother the hosts to get the TV setup.

The room on 1st floor was beautiful with large windows & views. We didn't see any staff during our stay. The room keys are placed on the entry table with your name. We didn't have breakfast on site. I'd highly recommend this Lodge!
As in most lodging in Ireland, there's no elevator to the first floor for luggage. We still loved our stay!
