Stayed for 6 nights in August for a wedding close by. Our room was a good size, clean and tidy. The bathroom although not large was absolutely fine. The bed was lovely and comfortable and pillows were good too. We had a bedside table and lamp each. A portable fan and hairdryer were available to use in the room. We had a side on view to the beach – the view was lovely – it’s just a pity the weather was not very good. Great to have a kettle for tea and coffee in the room. As water in the rooms is not drinkable it was good to have bottled water supplied each day. After reading reviews on another website we were concerned about the food – it was no problem at all – we ate there 4 out of 6 nights and between us tried 6 different meals all were really very tasty and great size portions. We only managed 1 desert which was also very good. Breakfast – we had the full Irish each day again it was well cooked and very tasty. A small fridge in the room would really be a bonus. All staff we met were very good, helpful and polite nothing seemed too much trouble. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The location by the sea is beautiful. The rooms were clean and tidy and quite well isolated for irish standards. The staff at the restaurant (which doubles as hotel staff) was very helpful.
Breakfast started rather late, so we had to skip it since we wanted to hit the road early to beat out the crowds. We booked a room with sea view, which was a bit disappointing. Yes we were able to see the sea, but mainly you saw the window of another hotel room. So if you didn't want to be watched by other guests you have to close the curtains which makes the sea view pointless. This could be fixed easily by installing some privacy panels - that way I can't see them and they can't see me. It also would not obstruct the sea view.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly
The only small thing was when I was at the bar I asked the bar man could I borrow a pen and he told me there was no pens! Found that strange, I only wanted to write a wedding card. He seems like someone who might not go out of his way to be helpful. I popped around the other side of the bar where I met a lovely waitress who gave me a pen straight away and I write my card and gave the pen straight back to the barman at the bar and asked him to kindly give the pen back to the waitress when she had finished talking to another guest! Small but it was annoying ! It’s the little things!

Fantastic location on the shore of Galway bay, great base for touring Connemara and Galway city. Room was spacious, beds very comfortable and room serviced every day. Breakfast was delicious, so was food in the restaurant and reasonably priced. Staff were very attentive, service was great and above all very friendly. We will definitely be back, if ever you are in this neck of the woods, you will not want to give this place a miss.
Nothing to improve, just keep up the good standard.

Our stay extended from the 27th to the 29th for a delightful two days. Nestled by the Atlantic sea, the B&B boasts a stunning location with breathtaking views. The restaurant, a true gem, featured a standout breakfast that became the highlight of our experience. The restaurant staff, characterized by their cordial, warm, kind, and welcoming demeanor, was exceptionally attentive to our needs. Despite our room having a roadside view, it remained pleasantly quiet. I wholeheartedly recommend this stay for a memorable experience.
The washbasin had separate taps for hot & cold water which made it very uncomfortable

Breakfast was very enjoyable, good portions, good options. The staff where very helpful, engaging, friendly, kind, chatty and hard working. The room was very nice, cosy, clean, bright, with good tea coffee water facilities and the beds were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location was spot on with the views of Galway outside your door, priceless location close to all the main routes for the sightseeing tourist or adventurer. Checking in quick and handy.
Our room was facing a road that was loud at times. A toilet seat that woke everyone up when it slammed shut. I only mention these not so much as a critisim but just to let would be guests know, (who are looking for a quiet time) won't get it opp the road but should be OK in the sea veiw rooms.

I had driven past this place many times as I was always going somewhere. Room was lovely, bed was comfortable and facilities in the room were great. Shower water pressure was a little low if you want a blast of water, but it was still perfectly adequate. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast staff remembered what I had from the previous day. Overall, I can't wait to go back again!
Please take away the covid email reminder. You did service my room perfectly, so there was no need to tell me the room servicing would be a quick in and out.

Excellent location, amazing views, room superior
Shower head needed descaling as water pressure poor. Staff 99% were brilliant and helpful, however breakfast rules enforced ridged and locked outside on 2 occasions in the rain and wind. Not as flexible about orders for breakfast as we would have expected eg request for boiled eggs refused despite poached and fried being available. Quality of breakfast under par. We did have a good stay and would return however some minor adjustments would make it perfect.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely place to stay at! The room was spacious and clean and beds were comfortable to sleep in! The views outside is a lovely bonus!!🥰💞 We would definitely come back!!
There really wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like about this place! But do keep in mind that there might be live music playing until about midnight if you stay during the weekend (i’m not sure if it’s the same during the week) but that really didn’t bother us too much as it wasn’t loud!☺️

The location and view over the quaint beach cove was perfect . Galway Bay is stunning and from this location you could walk around the coast looking at County Clare the opposite side of the bay. The stoney beach around the corner from the pub was very interesting. The food was very tasty and service friendly. Overall we loved it and wish we could have stayed longer than one night and explore the area more , especially the West area of Collamara.
