The staff was fantastic and the connected pub was perfect. We enjoyed playing cards over a Guinness at the end of the night and being able to walk easily into Galway.

Our room was upgraded to a larger room but there was only one small, high up window which made it feel a bit like we were in a basement. However - no complaints here as everything else was perfect and we were only there to sleep!

The room was not big, but good enough if you are traveling solo or with a partner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the shower and they solved it as fast as they could, no complaints. The location was great, Salthill is a beautiful area, nice to walk along the beach, and there are many restaurants and pubs. The hotel has a pub below, but I didn't hear any noises. The room was comfortable and clean. I would stay there again.

Booked this hotel at short notice and was not disappointed. Just wanted a quick break away. The shower was hot, the view over the sea nice, perfect location. It was what we paid for. No fuss or drama. The pub situated below showed the Connaught Final and there was good banter in there. Also, free parking to the rear of the hotel, Council owned, accessed near the aquarium center. Another expense usually added to the price of a stay away.

A wonderful hotel with a bright Irish flavor! Downstairs there is a very popular pub, maybe one of the oldest in the city. The rooms are spacious with good quality bed linen and towels, right opposite there is a grocery store, many cafes and restaurants, free parking within walking distance, 15 minutes walk to the city center. I recommend it for anyone traveling by car for a stopover for 2-3 nights.

The beds were comfortable, and clean. Plenty of towels provided too. The stairs are quite narrow but as it’s a heritage building it’s justifiable. One downside was the shower as there was very poor water pressure. Another key could have been provided since we booked a triple room. Staff were lovely and the vibe of the place was great. I would stay here again 100%, it was great value for money and I enjoyed my stay!

Comfortable, clean room with a good amount of space to unpack and settle into the room. Having a free parking lot around the corner was also very convenient! We spent our evenings at The Office bar connected to the hotel, and John behind the bar was wonderful! He gave us many recommendations for places to visit within a short drive from Galway, and we loved the ones we were able to stop at with the time we had available. Stop in, he’ll take good care of you!

While the room was fairly spacious, the shower space in our room was workable but quite small.

Great location in Salthill (Oslo bar across the road for dinner, Creamery cafe along the seafront for breakfast), quiet despite its central location, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, good value for the location.

Laundry bags obstructing the route to the fire exit overnight - not ideal. Room had a single and a double bed, would have been easier to access bathroom if the two beds had swapped position.

The accommodation was lovely and cosy, and clean, in a wonderful location, great staff and a great cosy bar downstairs, extra cosy and festive at this time of year! Staff were lovely and very prompt, location is wonderful, right in the centre of salthill which has lovely bars and restaurants and right on the sea, and close to the city whether you get the bus, or not too long a walk. Really lovely stay and excellent value!

The location was top. Very clean hotel. Very spacious room, we had room 10, it also had a small sea view from a window. Bar downstairs has very good Guinness. Bus stop nearby, grocery across the hotel, many restaurants and the best coffee shop are walking distance, and beautiful walk by the bay

Wifi wan not reliable. The shower has low pressure. The sink want had to be pushed down and held which was inconvenient

We got a larger room than expected with four beds, they were comfy. The location is wonderful, right by the beach. There is a free parking lot just around the corner.

Tiny windows, not very functional shower head control, felt like something didn't work quite as it should as it was a bit fiddly to get the hot water to run.
