Great hotel outside the main area. Staff were great and really helpful, the chap in the bar that gave us recommendations was spot on for food and night life. Nice pool facilities although a little cold in pool. Big room and very comfortable beds. Good breakfast if you like a continental or irish breakfast. Quite room and easy check-check out. Nice hotel and would stay agian

Pool was a bit cold however I understand they turn down the temp during the summer as Ireland doesn't normally have such a low outside temp in August. No EV charging. Generally my wife has her own shampoo/toiletries however she forgot and was surprised that none were supplied

The hotel and staff were lovely and the room was very clean. We were very comfortable staying here. The spa facilities were great and are available to use for guests, which we made the most of, and the surrounding area was beautiful. We would normally use the "do not disturb" sign on the door, and by the time we came back to the room there was fresh towels in a package outside our room door which was a very nice touch! I would definitely stay again

(Please dont consider this a complaint. We really enjoyed our stay. It's just a suggestion) I'm not sure if this is the case for all parts of the hotel, but our room was relatively close to a vending machine. For whatever reason, the vending machine talks whenever someone uses it e.g "please input selection now", "please use either cash or card". It was unnecessarily loud, to the point were it woke us up a couple of times during our stay. Especially when someone decides to have a feast of crisps and chocolate in the early hours of the morning (no judgment). If you could turn off the speech responses (or even turn it down), it would make all the difference! But again, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again next time we're back in Gweedore

The room was spacious and very clean. Beds really comfy and the shower was great. Breakfast was nice and all the staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful. Amazing location for climbing Errigal, walks in Dunlewey and Poison Glen, Bunbeg is also nearby which has some really beautiful beaches. Plenty of parking at the hotel too. Leisure centre looked lovely although I didn't have time to check it out, hopefully next time!

Very relaxing, steam room amazing, Food in fara ogs was amazing

No robes or slippers for the pool went to the health spa reception to ask for them to be told we can ask for slippers when we walk back which defeats the purpose as we both had shoes with laces meaning we had to walk to the changing room completely dressed to undress and then discovered we needed a euro coin to secure the locker which I had not brought any coins with me so had to leave items unlocked during my time in the pool and steam room

The hotel location is great, clean and is beautifully appointed. Breakfast was super. The leisure area is adjoined and has all you could ask for, friendly staff even done a show around. Lovely Restuarant detached from the hotel but only by a few yards. Staff were great, menu catered for all tastes and priced very fairly. The hotel is close enough to the coast, beach and Bunbeg is a short drive. Gweedore Golf club is great, a super price, perfect greens and a good test for anyone. Views are spectacular.

Reception were a bit dry but efficient. Room was pricy, two smallish double beds (I only needed one). Do not accept Room 225 or any other close to that. Facing out onto a flat roof which had noisy air extraction units. Not an overpowering noise but a steady DRONE in the silence of the night. Try for a front facing room overlooking the beautiful lough.

Really welcoming and helpful staff from the moment we walked into the reception. Bars, restaurant, wedding room and cleaning staff all brilliant. Wedding room was done beautifully and the food was extremely tasty and well cooked. A fabulous venue (although a long way to travel from Cork!) Lucky to have sunshine on arrival so had a fabulous view of the mountain.

Bar staff member on duty at start of the wedding needed some help. (Wedding guest very understanding and he did very well) really felt for him but understanding that staffing in hospitality if a countrywide issue atm.

Very Clean, friendly and beautiful view of mount Erigal.

Bar was not open in hotel. Had to walk across the courtyard ti get to restaurant and bar ( although it was beautiful). Hottub was difficult to switch on. Would have like local walks without having to get in car . No live music... it would be nice if they would have played traditional music. No leaflets available to tell what was available in the area. There were roadworks right outside rhe hotel that we were not told about. It's a very busy road and traffic is fast, not sure if id like my grandchildren playing around outside hotel.

the staff in the adjoining restaurant were warm and homely. appreciated that. bed was super comfy. room was warm and cosy with option to turn off the rad

Arriving later in the day (18:00) I found that parking was limited and I ended up “illegally parking!” Leaving at 8am the next morning I was able to see the creative parking required :) The hotel did not ask me to move my car so that was good! The location of my room left me hearing the lift moving up and down after being called. I was wrecked so I fell asleep regardless. The shower in my room left a decent puddle on the bathroom floor - not from splashes, but from a leak. Laid a towel down and it was fine. Suitable plugs beside the bed required to charge devices!!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. So pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Room was spacious and clean. Free access to Netflix was a bonus (thought I was going to go through the brain melt of trying to remember my password).

Extras were expensive 3 euro each for a swim cap that was mandatory and 15 euro for breakfast (this would be worth it if you ate a massive breakfast but it would be nice to order something small from a menu rather than a buffet style). Ate in the restaurant fara ogs which was a bit mediocre if I'm honest. Spicy pizza was not spicy at all although this was a bit of a recurring theme in the surrounding area when I ordered something spicy, didn't taste like there was any chilli in it at all? Might just be me

Beautiful hotel in an idyllic location at the foot of Mount Errigal. All the staff from the receptionist at check in to the leisure centre and breakfast teams were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was large and the beds were very comfy. Breakfast was delicious. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room/sauna are a lovely attraction.
