B&B. A very warm welcome from the owners. The buffet breakfast with homemade soda bread & scones (some popped in a bag for later too!) was good. The parking was good too. Everywhere was clean & tidy, and the bed was comfy. The bedroom was at the back of the property and very quiet, so we had a good nights sleep.

The only criticism is that the bedroom was very basic. The shower room was also basic, with a bidet that was labelled out-of-order. Possibly, we may have had the worst room? We were disappointed with the room, but couldn't fault the warm welcome from the owners.

The room and the ensuite bathroom were both very good sizes. The location was perfect for our trip to Kilkenny. There were plenty of parking spaces.

The door knob was very loose/falling off. There was no lock on the bathroom door, which meant the bedroom door had to be locked. The final point I'd like to make is that for the price we paid to only be served a continental breakfast was a little disappointing.

Delighted to be able to book the room with 2 beds late on a Saturday evening (because of a late cancellation). Hosts were great. Rooms were clean. Contential breakfast with some home baking set us up for the day. The location is on the outskirts of Kilkenny. Just 20 minutes walk into centre of Kilkenny. Great place to stay and it did not break the bank.

Everything was as a good B&B should be.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Made fresh scones for breakfast and send us away with a goody bag of the same. Hard to find location as the Google Maps sent us to exactly the same address elsewhere. Confusing but all worked out. A lovely lovely facility. We would return. Hosts just the greatest. Made us feel so comfortable and welcome.

Understanding the code they sent us for their location. We did not and had a very difficult time finding B & B after the wrong address was not helpful to direct us in the correct direction.

Breakfast - nice, loads of choice, very good coffee, fresh baker 10 out of 10 Room - very clean room and en-suite bathroom, everything very tidy Staff - nice and friendly - we have a little chat and they were really nice Location - nice and peaceful place, far away from all noisy streets

Everything was good , may be only that it is located a bit far from city center, but TAXI resolved issue

The room was spacious and we could walk from the city - about 25 minutes walk. The place was very clean and quiet. Plenty of parking. They were very friendly and worked with my GF requests for breakfast. We would recommend staying here. They were very flexible about what time we would arrive.

The breakfast was lovely. We would've appreciated a few hot options, like eggs/ protein. Continental breakfast was great - many homemade breads. We were traveling with college age boys who like to eat. ;)

A very friendly welcome and comfortable bed. Shower was also very good and easy to use. We were allowed to leave our car there for 7 hours after checking out, and the house was nice and quiet throughout our stay. Would return if in Kilkenny again.

You have a bit of a walk into Kilkenny City centre, around 20-25 minutes, but a taxi for each trip in and out is only 8-10 euro! So not all bad.

Hosts were very welcoming and gave us good recommendations on good pubs with live music. Quiet location in walking distance of 20 min to town center. Good private parking space.

The doors to our room were a bit difficult to open. You had to push them quite hard after unlocking.

Rosaleen & Larry welcomed us in - be sure to use the postal code they will send you to find the house. The breakfast is continental - nicely done. Rooms are a nice size and the shower had plenty of room and hot water. Also enjoyed seeing the horses out our window.

The B&B is really nice. It’s located a bit away from the city center, but you can easily walk into the city in 15 minutes and such a walk is also very good. The room was very clean. The breakfast was very warmly prepared and there was everything you need to start the day. The owners are awesome. I loved to talk with both of them. I’m very happy to have been there.

It’s a little bit old-fashioned.
