Staff were very nice & helpfull. Receptionist on Sun night was lovely and girl this am was nice too. Met a young guy who works there and he was very friendly. We had a chat about what work they were doing at the hotel. The evening restaurant staff were very busy so had to ask 3 times for a side order but they were also very nice as was the girl serving breakfast she was flying it on her own. Shower room was lovely & modern . Free parking at back .

The staff were all fantastic, which is not something you can say for every hotel. Be it reception, restaurant, leisure centre, night porter, all really friendly and obliging - especially in the leisure centre. The restaurant was impressive - a nice selection of meals, even vegetarian meals, and very attentive staff.

Signs for parking - both from driving out on the road and within the hotel trying to find the way out to the car park. Also, there was no-one on reception after 10pm the evening I was there. I tried ringing from my room phone but it was diverting to a mobile answering service and I hate dealing with answer machines (but this is only a minor point!) .

Excellent breakfast and very efficient staff member who works there. She brought my son more pancakes when she seen he was acting difficult. Room very comfortable with lovely furnishings. Location is ideal in centre of the town.

All was positive, would stay again this May only they are booked up. A few times I have stayed now, I always seem to get rooms facing walls or laneways, would love to get a front facing room some day.

Staff fantastic at check in. Made sure we could order food, even though late check in. Live music in the evening in main pub bar was fantastic. Great pool. Food really good. Nice simple breakfast, buffet and menu options.

The pool is a bit tired and in need of a spruce up in places. Also it was hard to get space to swim, except early morning, as it was always almost completely taken over by children’s swimming lessons.

From the moment we entered the hotel lobby the atmosphere generated by the festive decorations, open log fire and friendly receptionist augered well for our coming stay. The bedroom was spacious and comfortably heated and the bed linen perfectly clean. The facilities eg. Swimming pool and leasure centre, although not availed off on this occasion are satisfactory. The food is to a very high standard and all staff most helpful and cheerfully disposed. All in all an excellent experience.

The location was perfect for us. The rooms/beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water. The food was wonderful. And every staff member encountered was professional, warm and welcoming. Top notch hotel!

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, everything was excellent for this price bracket. Rooms were large and clean, and quiet at night. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. A good choice of breakfast and evening meal in the bar. Free parking in the street outside from 6pm or use of the hotel car park to the rear accessed via a side street.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I came here as part of a group of 15 people. Our experience was amazing! The care and attention the staff gave us was above and beyond! Special mentions to the accommodation manager, Kay, who did so much to make our stay really special, Eadaoin at reception made us few like one of the family, and Andi, who looked after us at dinner was absolutely brilliant! Thanks so much guys!

Absolutely no complaint

Hotel was very central. Spacious. Clean big rooms. The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Vegan alternatives were provided for breakfast and finger food. Checked out late with no extra charge. Really lovely hotel with brilliant team.

No vegan options listed for lunch. It would have been good if there was at least one vegan starter and main (or even the option listed to make vegan) listed on the menu. They did accommodate me changing out ingredients though.
