Beechwood House is in an excellent location and easy to find. It is close to the older part of Blarney, so we had several choices for dinner. We were very happy with our room.

We arrived the night that the first bad storm of the season was blowing in. If we had decided to stay another night as planned, there wasn't a common living space in which to relax during the day. We would have had to spend the day in our bedroom or go exploring Blarney in the storm. Also, the breakfast was self-serve and eaten in the kitchen. Not bad, but a little tight with the other guests and not ideal.

I loved the breakfast, we could help ourselves in our own time. There were various yoghurts, juice, tea/coffee, spreads, fruit, cereals, bread and sometimes croissants, with ham and cheese in the fridge if you desire. It was always clean and tidy and the owner, Valerie would pop her head in to check if everything was okay. Norman and Valerie were also very helpful when we needed some advice about the local attractions. We highly recommend this lovely accommodation.

Just please be aware that there are a couple of stairs to get to your room.

Very clean and comfortable. I was traveling alone and felt safe. Convenient to town and perfect for being the first to arrive at Blarney Castle and skip the lines. A full hot breakfast is not offered but you can bring your own food and store.

we really enjoyed our stay and our hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. rooms were clean and comfortable, the house was in a great location close to Blarney village and castle and an easy drive to Cork, Kinsale and Cobh. Breakfast was generous, fresh and varied. We would definitely recommend. Thanks again for making us so welcome and for all the extra details especially over the New Year.

Such a lovely stay in Blarney right next to Blarney castle and short travel from Cork city. Great hosts. Lovely house, easy to find. Plenty of groceries in the kitchen to compose a tasty breakfast from. Definitely recommend.

Such a lovely welcome, beautiful room with lovely table and chairs so not just for sleeping and spotlessly clean. The shower was glorious ascwas the breakfast. My dog was made very welcome too and all his needs attended to too

Breakfast was good. Good advice on our travel plans from owner. Good location - need to walk about 1-1/2 miles (downhill) to get into town. Safe and convenient. Taxi back after dinner.

Can always be closer to town - but that would take away from some of the ambiance.

The house is great. The host are incredible, super nice and accessible. I will recommend that place to anyone who visits the region!

The fact that the Booking app made me pay more than it was supposed to. But even that the host handle it with me, in fact, she was the one to bring it up! I had no Idea

It was really close to the village and Blarney Castle! The breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was top notch. The couple who runs this were very friendly. The room was very clean and the owners were available if there was anything else you needed! There was also tea, coffee and water available in the room and you had 24 hour access to the kitchen which was a nice touch

Location to the castle, check in easy, hosts friendly and helpful.

Think it was a full house when we stayed. Could hear other guests until they retired for the evening.
