A real treat , had a treatment in the spa ( fab) , dinner in the restaurant 58 really nice , and the food was gorgeous . Lovely walk on the grounds of the hotel , we didn't avail of the bikes on offer. Staff were very helpful and courteous

Fire alarm went off at 1.30 in the morning , it was a false alarm and we were able to confirm that on the phone before leaving our room . If anything staff were too attentive in the restaurant ie different staff asking the same question ( ie had we ordered ) same for dinner and breakfast, but that is really looking for something to criticise and I would much prefer that than not being zble to get staffs attention. I would say we never had to look for their attention , they were always on it .

The hotel decor was beautiful the lounge areas were cosy and inviting. The hotel was spotless and the quality of the food and service was excellent. The views were breath taking and grounds were so well kept.

When booking through booking.com it stated breakfast was served till 11am and check out was 12, on arrival we found out breakfast ended at 10.30 and check out was 11.30 other then that I couldn't find fault with our stay at Ballygarry Eastate.

Ballygarry is probably the best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in. From the moment we arrived we were made feel so welcome and the staff couldn't be nicer. Noel greeted us like old friends and is a true gentleman. He is a wonderful member of the Ballygarry team. Two other members of staff that stood out to us were Matthew and Jake, two lovely young men who were so pleasant to talk to in the bar and restaurant. The food is also incredible, cooked to perfection every time! The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The grounds are stunning with wild gardens and wetlands to encourage biodiversity. You could spend the day walking the grounds and never get bored! Ballygarry is THE best place to stay!

l love the smaller boutique hotels, the views from the restaurant are amazing, the rooms are comfortable

l have stayed there a few times and loved it each time but a little disappointed this time, there wasn’t any hot water in either of the two bathroom sinks, the restaurant for breakfast was freezing cold and for the first time during my stays there l found the reception staff unfriendly and not one bit welcoming and that sadly has ruined it for me in relation to going back there

Spa was really good and the staff were really friendly and helpful there. Don't know the managers name but she was attentive and very good at her job. Brasserie was really good and food was very tasty.

Breakfast could have been better given the price of staying here.

Loved the accommodation and my stay. Lovely hotel fabulous really nice all round. Views splended

Shower wouldn't work for me freezing cold tried to get it going for 10 minutes then gave up it worked fine for my husband but when it was my turn I couldn't get it to come right. I asked for a receipt after paying in cash and it was never forwarded otherwise a great place.

Once you entered the hotel to check in, you are met with two very friendly receptionists who are extremely good at their job. The waiting staff in the restaurant for dinner and for breakfast the following morning are the most pleasant staff. The grounds of the hotel are kept so neat and tidy and the room we stayed in is a very comfortable room

Very comfortable clean room and very helpful and mannerly staff

Lack of residents bar. It was practically impossible depending on the night to get a drink past 11pm. It felt like you had to beg to try to get one last drink when on a family trip and particularly when it cost €510 for two nights for a single person!!! - and also given we were a quite 3 persons. The night manager could have applied some sensibility.

Amazing location and views. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Food was fantastic. Highly recommended!!

Spa was only open for one day of our stay as it was being refurbished. Would have stayed a different week if we had known.

Very minor detail but the bathroom extractor fan is rather noisy and does not cut out when the light is turned off so anyone like me who is a light sleeper would find that an annoyance.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. They even took the care to remember my name which was really lovely. The food in the brasserie was delicious and very well priced, excellent portion sizes and a nice ambience to eat. Breakfast was perfect with lovely views of the gardens. Bathroom was spacious and very clean and the decor inside the rooms was modern and bright. It was lovely to read up on the history of the hotel through pictures on the walls and there were little messages of hope written on stones dotted around the hotel which was very sweet as well.
