Everything - from the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out, it was a wonderful stay. The staff were exceptionally warm, friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the thermal suite, eating in the Brasserie and walking the grounds in Ballygarry

Couldn’t find fault with Ballygarry estate

The hotel is absolutely superb. We came to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The hotel decor is so tasteful and has a very fairytale feel to it. It also has everything for comfort. The room was warm, clean and had all the necessities; iron, kettle, tea/coffee, hair drier, robes and slippers, sufficient amount of storage etc. (you name it) The bed was very comfortable and the duvet and pillows very soft, we slept very well. We used the complimentary spa ; sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, but also availed of the seaweed bath experience and the massage treatments. If you want to book extra treatments, make sure to do it weeks in advance, as the spa is very busy. We really enjoyed it. The hotel has everything for a fun and pleasant stay. We will definitely come back again.

The bathroom needs more hooks for bathrobes .

Location friendly atmosphere great breakfast. Super room amazing.

All staff great except breakfast time when I supervised pointed to her watch and asked us to hurry up. It was 10.15am so not end of time for breakfast. Cleared our table when we had just gone to get a juice. Made the experience less pleasant and spoilt of relaxing breakfast , which it should have been. Other staff embarrassed and were treated like sheep. The supervisor needs training in customer care experience. Other staff all fab.

You really get the feeling of the family ownership, very nice staff. Breakfast had everything to choose from, we stayed 4 days had various options of breakfast all fantastic. View for breakfast overlooks beautiful garden landscaped area. We didnt have any treatments but the sauna and outdoor and Jacuzzi really nice. Rooms great quality and size. There was a wedding whilst we was there but it didnt disturb us whatsover.

A real treat , had a treatment in the spa ( fab) , dinner in the restaurant 58 really nice , and the food was gorgeous . Lovely walk on the grounds of the hotel , we didn't avail of the bikes on offer. Staff were very helpful and courteous

Fire alarm went off at 1.30 in the morning , it was a false alarm and we were able to confirm that on the phone before leaving our room . If anything staff were too attentive in the restaurant ie different staff asking the same question ( ie had we ordered ) same for dinner and breakfast, but that is really looking for something to criticise and I would much prefer that than not being zble to get staffs attention. I would say we never had to look for their attention , they were always on it .

Loved the facilities, especially the relaxation room. The gym was very impressive for a hotel gym. I work as a PT so have high standards for this! All the staff were really lovely. They have a beautiful 5k route which was great for running if you’re a runner. The bed was comfortable so we had a great sleep.

One of the shower heads in the room had an inconsistent pressure

Everything! Parking great, welcome great, wonderfully appointed and real country estate feel. Breakfast was lovely in Restaurant 52 just disappointed wasnt open at night as advertised. Well worth staying a few days esp for the Spa which was very very good! Wish weather was better so as to explore the grounds.

That Restaurant 52 wasn't open during the week (big reason for going) so only the bistro which was lovely, relaxed and food good but not special

Our room, breakfast, spa, wedding ceremony venue was gorgeous and meal were all fabulous. Spa setting was exceptional, especially the far off jacuzzi with mountain views - stunning.

The heat of the area off the main wedding dining area was absolutely stifling, uncomfortably hot. We had to go outside to cool down.

We loved the thermal spa that was complimentary to the rooms. Breakfast was also included which was nice. The staff were very professional and friendly. They even canceled my double booking for free. There were free bikes to enjoy. We had a little hamper of new towels outside the room cause we didn't want to be disturb. Overall experience was great! Will recommend this hotel in the future.

The hotel decor was beautiful the lounge areas were cosy and inviting. The hotel was spotless and the quality of the food and service was excellent. The views were breath taking and grounds were so well kept.

When booking through booking.com it stated breakfast was served till 11am and check out was 12, on arrival we found out breakfast ended at 10.30 and check out was 11.30 other then that I couldn't find fault with our stay at Ballygarry Eastate.
