Everything was really fantastic, the decoration and breakfast were fantastic. The room design was a surprise and the nice treats were excellent.

The only reason I'm removing 2 points was the male staff on Wednesday and Friday night was completely unapproachable. For a people-facing job like this, where he is the first point of contact of the hotel, we nearly turned our back on the hurried and unapproachable reception. We didn't feel we could ask questions, and he always didn't greet unless we did first. Also, no smiles on his face which is unfortunate.

The hotel is centrally located and wonderfully decorated, the staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

My only complaint is that the rooms are so tiny. We stayed on the top floor and had a tiny balcony. There was no closet, not even a place to put our suitcases. We couldn't even keep them open on the floor because there was no space to walk around them. We had to always keep them closed and upright and even still there was hardly any space to walk around them. There were a couple of hangers on the wall. We are not huge people and not claustrophobic, but the limited space was a bit ridiculous since it was nearly impossible to pass between the bed and the wall in front of it, and no room to walk around a suitcase. This is not the hotel to stay in if you are traveling with more than one tiny carry-on suitcase.

I really enjoyed my room, the bed and of course the shower. Very relaxing. I also have to commend the hotel for providing a lot of freebies even the bar. Very satisfied customer. If I return to Tel Aviv, I will definitely stay with them again.

The hotel staff are very accommodating, especially the older ones except for the youngsters. They are snob TBH, they need to be trained to smile more and be more welcoming with the guests.

Best hotel I've stayed at in Israel in many many years. Everything is up to the highest quality and it's a luxurious oasis in the heart of the city. Easy to get anywhere. Staff are lovely and give a personal touch. Everything is taken care of - beach bags ready to go when you are. The breakfast is absolutely out of this world, even compared to the typical Israeli hotel breakfasts which are fantastic most places. We added an extra night just to enjoy it again.

Nothing to mention.

What a delight that there are still hotels that focus on quality, service and guest comfort. Backstage hotel is a fantastic example of how hotels can - and should be run! Not one of these awful large hotel chains with horrible quality and lack of interest in a guest experience, but attention to detail, amazing quality interiors, clean rooms and very helpful staff. I can't remember a hotel I stayed in in my 20 years of traveling the globe where you get free cappuccinos/coffees in the lobby (just one example that values guests). From now on Atlas boutique hotels will rank top on my searches when traveling.

Actually nothing. Everything was exceeding my expectations and not a single point of complaint that comes to mind.

I enjoyed my staying to backstage. Breakfast was unbelievable and great quality. The scenery was like being in true backstage . I enjoyed also the booth with photos !!! The only reason I didn’t give 10 is because the noise of the new construction at the building beside which began very early in the morning. My room was at the second floor 204 and the window has no view. Although the windows must be cleaned somehow ….. Don’t choose taxi from airport. I suggest you the public transportation . It’s so cheap and it worths than taxi”s extremely high cost. Take the train until Ha Shalom, 2nd stop from airport to Tel Aviv . Then take the bus 62 or 8. After 4 stops you have to walk only 400m. The cost for each person was about only 7€.

It was noisy from early morning . Hammers and voices from the new construction beside

This Hotel was one of the best Hotels I've stayed in all my travels. The Hotel cleanliness is superb, they are constantly cleaning making it look and smell fantastic. The staff is very friendly and extremely attentive to detail. We missed our flight and the front desk went out if their way to callnthe airline for us and it took almost 1 hour on the phone, you could tell that genuinely they felt concerned for us in particular Amit who did not hesitate to pick up the phone and call, Amal was also very nice to us, and the manager Tamar was extremely attentive. The breakfast is well worth it, it is $31 dollars per person, but Tel-Aviv is super expensive, you might be able to get breakfast elsewhere for possible $20-$25 per person, but I guarantee you, it will not compare to the one at this Hotel, the variety is out of this world, mimosas all you want, orange, carrot and beets juice is amazing, everything is all you want as many times as you like. The hand cream they have in the room is absolutely amazing, leaves your hands all day long feel as silk, the smell in the Hotel is amazing. Have to mention the location is close to everything, restaurants, shops, markets. I loved my trip to Israel and will definitely go back.

The pillows could be better, the rooms are very small, with no storage or closet, and there is a room that has some steps to the bed that it's quite uncomfortable.

Beautiful interior design and a very welcoming place. The staff is very kind and helpful (taxi, breakfast, questions) Great fantastic breakfast! Comfy bed and pillows, very important when the back is sensitive! Great bathroom, everything spotless and clean, bathrobe and slippers were super comfy.

Windows a little too small in the bedrooms, probably due to the architecture of the building ? Pefume smell a little too strong in the bedroom, to my taste. Coffee at breakfast was much too acidic, again, to my taste. We were disappointed that the Photo Booth (a great idea !) didn't work. The person at the reception would have very kindly fixed it, but we were on the leave and didn't have enought time to wait...

I couldn't recommend The Backstage Hotel enough, it's honestly beautiful. The interior design was on point and the staff was all lovely and extremely attentive to specific needs. The breakfast was delicious and they also offered Gluten free food which was a great bonus. They also know how to make a good coffee! They also give a beach bag with towels and water if you go to the beach. It's only a 15 min walk away which is so good! It's expensive but similar pricing to hotels in Tel Aviv so definitely worth the expense. You 100% get what you pay for. I would 100% stay here again. I saw they're also building a spa area which I think will be an amazing addition to the space.

The only thing I'd want in my room is storage for clothes, perhaps a chest of drawers instead of the desk area would've been more beneficial. The bathroom shower door doesn't fully stop the water leaking out onto the floor so the shower door seals may need better securing. My TV remote control didn't work.

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The rooms are also nicely designed and decorated as well. A lot of thought went into the design. The breakfast buffet is an feast that is not to be missed. They give you one free cocktail during happy hour everyday during your stay. Brunch is also given at a discount. Reception is generally helpful. The hotel is located only a short walk from busy Dizengoff Street and the beach.

I was given a room on the ground level directly next to the restaurant and bar area. It was extremely loud. They play dance music until midnight. I had to ask management to tune down the music around 11:00 p.m. because I cannot sleep. I asked management to move me to a quiet room which they did two nights later. That was one reason why I did not rate this hotel a ten because of this mishap. If you book this hotel, make sure to ask for a room that is not on the same floor as the restaurant and bar.
