Spacious room, lobby ambiance

You get charged a city cap 30usd per day if you book through a third party platform. This wasn't clearly advertised and requires improvements.

I loved the location! Absolutely perfect to experience downtown without renting a car. The property itself is BEAUTIFUL. I saw complaints about the shower. The water does come out BUT they give you runner towels specifically to be place by the shower to help with that. Confirming there is no vent in the bathroom BUT that gives you a reason to venture to the lobby (that’s what I did) which is stunning. We didn’t dine at the restaurant but the bar, Mercy Me I believe, drinks were great

There isn’t anything I didn’t like about the property. I do, however, wish the receptionist on duty would have called up to my room for my doordash order or even dropped it at my door instead of “throwing it away”.

I like most of everything I love there was a restaurant or a couple of restaurants attached also like that, they offered you vintage record player for your staying, even though I didn’t take one scream

I liked everything about the room except for the shower I just didn’t understand why there wasn’t any type of door and it caused issues with water draining into the actual bathroom part

Very nice lounge and restaurant area. Always something going on so it’s nice to have as a fall back when not out exploring. Feels like a young vibe which we liked. The hallways and water stations on each floor are very cool. Mirrors, headboards and bathrooms in rooms were cool. I like the safe and fridge combo and all the dressers available to you in the upgraded king room. Great location near a lot of different things and close to White House etc.

The freezing cold concrete floors, and the lifeless walls in the rooms. Also, the “courtyard view” is terrible. Crunchy not soft towels. Bed linens and pillows aren’t good and bed is hard. No vent in room or bathroom at all so any smells linger and so does moisture. The shower stall is silly, gets whole floor soaked. The faucet was loose and flopping around. Valet needs works. QR code didn’t work. Price is too much for lack of service.

The sink was clogged. We asked twice to fix it, but no one did. The room is very minimally equipped and designed

- Fantastic location in walking distance to all major areas of DC (Georgetown at 15 mins, Metro Mall at 20 mins, White House at 25 mins, Dupont Circle at 15 mins) and with access to metro lines within a 10-min walk. Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. - Spacious, modern and stylish rooms and spacious bathroom come with toiletries and slippers. - Water fountain on each floor was a very thoughtful touch. - Superb bar and restaurant in the hotel with a nice vibe. - Personnel were extremely nice and ready to help with any request (from advising on local phone providers to fixing the AC within just a few minutes after my request).

- Music from the bar could be heard from my room (I was on floor 4), which can be disturbing especially for oversees travelers like myself who might want to just rest. Ask for a room on a higher floor. - AC was quite noisy when on.

The lobby offering a very free flowing vibe, and various options for food with Call Your Mother and Mercy Me. The decor was unique and modern. Great breakfast. Location was walkable to meetings at World Bank Group. Reception staff was very good (Hi Pindi!) and accommodating.

I had most of my amazon orders delivered to my room without prompting but when the last one arrived, I was not notified and left the country without it. This was unfortunate given that I had called the night before to inquire about it.

Got a room as a staycation to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and I couldn't have chosen a better place! The hotel itself is super cute, room was very comfortable with a giant TV and nice view, the staff was really friendly and made me feel so welcome. They even surprised us with birthday champagne and chocolates! My boyfriend loves sparkling water and having sparkling water on tap available on each floor was such an unbeatably nice touch. The lobby bar was also really nice with some great, creative cocktails and we enjoyed lounging there late into the night. All in all this hotel was so charming and lovely in every way and I absolutely made the right decision, it was perfect for my romantic birthday staycation plans. Can't recommend it enough!

Ambience was immaculate here. I would absolutely stay again. I’d say the only thing the place was missing was a pool! We love the room and the decor and the vibe of the hotel and even the staff!

There were some type of sewer problems that made the room smell like foul sewage I assume once the hotel got busy - the water pressure also became low at this point. There was also some type of event on the hotel patio that they were asking us to pay $30 for (to simply walk out there) which was ridiculous as we were already staying at the hotel.

I truly love this hotel! It was one of the best experiences I've had. The staff was excellent and helped me when I mistakenly sent my luggage to another hotel. They even contacted FedEx to assist me with the situation. I loved the atmosphere in the lobby; every morning, the smell of coffee and croissants created a warm and inviting environment. The room was nice, although there was a slight odd smell—possibly from the carpet. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely return!
