This hotel was amazing! Lovely and peaceful but more lively in the evening. Building was lovely and rooms very comfortable, amazing views and spotless. Food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was great with exceptional service. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. Even when I got sunburnt, a lovely staff member brought me a bucket of ice and tea towel to cool down. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

A little bit of a journey from the town and difficult by foot, so would hire a car next time. Saying this, it was lovely and relaxing being out of town.

We loved the style of the agriturismo, the location, the gardens, the swimming pool, the evening hanging out in the green area just outside with a cocktail, the stars, the music and the beautiful sunset and Assisi old walls.

We wished the staff could have introduced us to all the services the facility was offering, I know we can read the website and the info in the room, but we missed a couple of things. I wished at check in the staff told us about all the beautiful and unique things the agriturismo was offering. Food was just ok in the evening, great breakfast.

A beautiful, peaceful setting just outside the town of Assisi. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The choices for breakfast were very varied and absolutely delicious. Stunning view of the floodlit Basilica at night! The staff were really lovely. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

This was the most beautiful hotel in a fabulous location! It was a quiet, relaxing setting with an incredible view of the Basilica in Assisi. We were surrounded by beautiful floral gardens and olive trees. The service at the bar for aperitivos was amazing! Great drinks and appetizers. Breakfast was a treat each morning. The best coffee and breakfast choices.

Everything! The room was as lovely as the pictures online; very cool bathroom. Loved the rustic stone and wood decor. We were sorry that we couldn’t stay longer than one night. We had a wonderful dinner in the beautiful restaurant and also enjoyed breakfast and chatting with Petra. Everyone we came in contact with was welcoming and gracious. I think it’s safe to say that this will be our favorite property during our 3-week trip in Italy. So glad we added Assisi to our itinerary and found this gem!

Room is newly renovated, modern, high tech!! Exactly same as the photos on Booking.com. Most agritourismo villas are old and not renovated. Borgo Antichi Otto Assisi is different! Newly renovate rooms, bathroom with heater, modern high functioning 2 way shower and a bench to sit on, charming gift pouch on arrival (body oil, body balm, cookies etc) that really catch guests’ heart. - Beautiful garden to walk around. - Great location (10 minute walking distance to the town). If you want both “close enough to walk to Assisi town” and “Agritourism in the nature”, this is the perfect location to have them both! We are very selective of accommodation and we give 10/10 to this place. Definitely coming back in the future.

When you enter the building of rooms, there us an area with table and sofa where guests can use and hang out. If other guests are talking and drinking there, you can hear some noise from your room. But overall, no major cons about this place. It’s really a perfect accommodation.

Oasis of rest and peace in Assisi. Upon arrival you are greeted by the lush greenery of the olive trees and vegetable garden. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products served. The surroundings offer lots of little places where you can sit down to read a book or relax. Both the Lab Botanico and La Locanda serve extraordinary dishes and wines.

We stayed in room 2! the views were exceptional, the bed, pillows, shower - everything was perfect. The grounds, breakfast, cocktails were next level and two extra special staff Manuel & Jackamo were so friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 days but could have easily stayed longer. can’t recommend enough 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A lovely, unique setting at the base of Assisi. I would recommend the Borgo highly if you want a quiet retreat or a base for touring the surrounding sights. We had a gorgeous view of the valley from our room and a view of St Francis basilica from the patio during breakfasts. Our room was tastefully furnished and spotless. The food was delicious and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our every needs. The Borgo makes several homeopathic products and sells their olive oil and other goods. The pool was a welcoming sight after a long hike up to the Eremo. I’d definitely stay there again!

The location was wonderful. Bruno was an amazing host and catered to all of our needs,including restaurant suggestions. Which were excellent. The room was beautiful and had the most amazing private terrace. Breakfast was fantastic and included lots of delicious options! The fridge was stocked with drinks and room had amazing A/C. The bed was comfortable and the bathe was stocked with amenities. The wi-if was good. Bruno even organized a car to take us to the airport for an early morning flight and it was seamless. I would HIGHLY recommend to book this small boutique hotel. Perfection.
