Drive through an olive orchard up to the property that sits below Assisi. The view of Assisi up the hill is amazing. The room's walls are stone, so quaint, so beautiful. Room is large, with short stairs leading out to the backyard. In front of room is a beautiful grassy garden common area that lights up at night with lounge chairs and coffee tables looking up at the church. Really, really well done. Beautiful property. Restaurant and bar on site. Purchased room with garden view and up the hill looking at Assisi and church, BUT ... the bushes were overgrown in back and blocked the view. So no view. However, step out of my room in the front and walk out to the grassy garden and you would have the view from there, so there is a saving grace. Nice breakfast in the glass bar area. Strong Wi-Fi, good shower, big room, parking. Excellent stay, amazing view of Assisi.

A beautiful, peaceful setting just outside the town of Assisi. The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The choices for breakfast were very varied and absolutely delicious. Stunning view of the floodlit Basilica at night! The staff were really lovely. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was amazing! Lovely and peaceful but more lively in the evening. Building was lovely and rooms very comfortable, amazing views and spotless. Food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was great with exceptional service. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. Even when I got sunburnt, a lovely staff member brought me a bucket of ice and tea towel to cool down. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

A little bit of a journey from the town and difficult by foot, so would hire a car next time. Saying this, it was lovely and relaxing being out of town.

This was the most beautiful hotel in a fabulous location! It was a quiet, relaxing setting with an incredible view of the Basilica in Assisi. We were surrounded by beautiful floral gardens and olive trees. The service at the bar for aperitivos was amazing! Great drinks and appetizers. Breakfast was a treat each morning. The best coffee and breakfast choices.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Amazing place!

We loved the style of the agriturismo, the location, the gardens, the swimming pool, the evening hanging out in the green area just outside with a cocktail, the stars, the music and the beautiful sunset and Assisi old walls.

We wished the staff could have introduced us to all the services the facility was offering, I know we can read the website and the info in the room, but we missed a couple of things. I wished at check in the staff told us about all the beautiful and unique things the agriturismo was offering. Food was just ok in the evening, great breakfast.

Everything! The room was as lovely as the pictures online; very cool bathroom. Loved the rustic stone and wood decor. We were sorry that we couldn’t stay longer than one night. We had a wonderful dinner in the beautiful restaurant and also enjoyed breakfast and chatting with Petra. Everyone we came in contact with was welcoming and gracious. I think it’s safe to say that this will be our favorite property during our 3-week trip in Italy. So glad we added Assisi to our itinerary and found this gem!

Oasis of rest and peace in Assisi. Upon arrival you are greeted by the lush greenery of the olive trees and vegetable garden. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products served. The surroundings offer lots of little places where you can sit down to read a book or relax. Both the Lab Botanico and La Locanda serve extraordinary dishes and wines.

The gentlemen in charge of the bar and at breakfast went above and beyond the call of duty for us. A lovely man who totally understood customer service. And so beautifully mannered. Exceptional. And a great location. Really nice friendly guy on reception as well. We will be back next year 🤞

Room a little on the dark side (room 10)

Room is newly renovated, modern, high tech!! Exactly same as the photos on Booking.com. Most agritourismo villas are old and not renovated. Borgo Antichi Otto Assisi is different! Newly renovate rooms, bathroom with heater, modern high functioning 2 way shower and a bench to sit on, charming gift pouch on arrival (body oil, body balm, cookies etc) that really catch guests’ heart. - Beautiful garden to walk around. - Great location (10 minute walking distance to the town). If you want both “close enough to walk to Assisi town” and “Agritourism in the nature”, this is the perfect location to have them both! We are very selective of accommodation and we give 10/10 to this place. Definitely coming back in the future.

When you enter the building of rooms, there us an area with table and sofa where guests can use and hang out. If other guests are talking and drinking there, you can hear some noise from your room. But overall, no major cons about this place. It’s really a perfect accommodation.

We stayed in room 2! the views were exceptional, the bed, pillows, shower - everything was perfect. The grounds, breakfast, cocktails were next level and two extra special staff Manuel & Jackamo were so friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 days but could have easily stayed longer. can’t recommend enough 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
