The location was fantastic with in easy walking of most of the important sites - archeology, art museum, and other museums. The courtyard was lovely and the hotel precincts were quiet but within an easy walk of the centre of Brescia. Lot’s of good places to eat nearby. The hotels Bistro was also quite good and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful, storing our bags until we caught a very late train on our last day in Brescia.

The bed could have down with some extra padding as you could feel the coils, otherwise everything was excellent.

The hotel appears to be a converted monastery and is a large complex with an internal courtyard. The room provided was large but a little spartan. Breakfast was very good and served in a separate room or in the courtyard. Parking was included as was in a separate secure area within the complex. The hotel was easy walking distance from the centre of Brescia and close to the castle.

The number of power sockets was very limited and difficult to access. Fridge was small.

Unforgettable, we experienced its luxurious architecture at a modest price. Highlight was the expansive palazzo garden with several seating areas to read under massive conifer canopies. Exquisite landscaping and the 10meter high windows surrounding the garden elevated the estate's feeling of escape and luxury, even 5 star hotels can not afford these expensive design features. The rooms are off on another block of building at the back beside a car park, but it sets you away from general dining noise. Enjoy coffee or meal in the garden. A true italian sanctuary. The dining staff are very kind. You feel extremely welcomed and calm with enjoyment. We will be back any time we return to Milan. The St Giulia Roman ruins museum is one of the best Unesco must see's!

We were in the Deluxe King Studio. The space was much bigger than expected, particularly due to the high ceilings and skylights. The corridors were carpeted so it muffled the noise from footsteps, and there was a wardrobe/hallway area that had a door to create an extra noise barrier to the corridor. The staff were helpful and there was always someone on reception as we came and went. The location was a leisurely 10 minute stroll from the centre, bur far enough to avoid the sound of traffic.

Some things were strangely missing from the room, but we did arrive three hours earlier than we said we would. For instance the kitchen only had one mug, no tin opener and no bottle opener, but I'm sure had we asked at reception for these I'm sure we would have got them, we just didn't mention it because it was covid-era and we didn't want to make a fuss. While the room was quiet of street and corridor noise, we could hear people talking loudly in the rooms adjacent. It didn't last too long nor keep us awake, but that'll be down to the individuals who happen to be staying there at that time.

We had a room facing the backyard, so it was incredibly quiet. Parking is good and large. Breakfast was good and the staff extremely nice.

I’m very frustrated with no instructions about Brescia city center car entry regulations - there are signs everywhere that you cannot enter including on the street to the hotel. I also parked in the city center at Piazza Vittoria (official central underground parking) but I learned later it is not allowed to enter the city center by car without a permission! The sign “ZTL is closed” does not mean to me, as foreigner, anything. It is unclear and I saw many other cars e.g. from GB, Netherlands, etc. who made the same mistake. Expecting a fine now from 80€ to 330€. It’s not a normal hotel, it is a catholic center, there is a church right on the territory and some special groups having lectures or so. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like it but this should be probably made clear.

Great location, friendly staff and great venue. Parking place in front of the door in a safe enclosed area. The building is amazing and the breakfast is fair for what you pay.

1-Initially I booked a king room with a double bed for the three of us (two adults and one child). Just before arriving I called them and they told me that the bed was not big enough for the three of us. They proposed to me to upgrade the reservation to a triple bedroom for extra money. Once I said the extra to pay was too much they instantly dropped the price (suspicious). In the end, when we got the room we realised that the size of their double bed was more than enough for the three of us and we did not really need the additional bed... 2-dinner there does not seem to be worth it. Prices ar ok but not great.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We arrived at noon, and asked to leave our luggage, but they told us "Your room is ready, you can take it now." On our final day we were able to leave our luggage securely so that we could see one last attraction before going to the train station. This hotel is well located for many of the attractions, but also in a quiet area. Our room looked out onto the wooded garden, which was very nice. The room was spacious and comfortable

Nothing to criticise

The hotel has a fantastic location in the center of town, with available parking (although they can run out of spaces, they are first come first serve. Beautiful interior (although with some renovation while we were there), and the rooms were comfortable. Staff was quick and welcoming, and while we didn't use the breakfast it was offered for a fair price even when it wasn't included in our room. Comfortable beds.

When we booked I was under the impression we had booked a room with a view of the city, but we were assigned a room with only a view of the courtyard - very disappointed in that, and it doesn't look like there's a way to book a room guaranteeing a view of the city, which is frustrating and likely to prevent me from booking there again given other options available in the center. I'd pay extra to guarantee the view. There also was only one power outlet in the room that already in use, which is difficult.

All in all, I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was very nice, with many choices and the personnel was very helpful. The bed was ok, not the best, but acceptable.

I had a difficult check-in, I had to change 3 rooms, in order to end up with one that was ok. All the transfers happened with no help from the concierge. It was very hard to find the rooms in the hotel and it was very tiring to move my suitcase from room to room in a hotel this size. It was very frustrating and I end up in a room smaller than the one I paid because I couldn't find another solution at the moment and I was tired to discuss it further. I should mention that the second room had no window.

Apt provided a nice clean cool accommodation to recuperate at during our travels. As has been noted before, accommodations are a little more spartan, but provided all the basic necessities. Loved having a clothes washer.

Beds are slightly firmer than most American hotels, but nothing too uncomfortable. The listing doesn't quite make it clear that the secure parking inside the facility's compound is an extra charge. Not too expensive and definitely worth it as opposed to fighting for space along the street outside, but a little unexpected.
