Atmosphere, location, breakfast and staff

You could hear the next room through the connecting door very easily each time they coughed or sneezed.

The property was just like the images I seen on the website! Grand Tremezzo and the staff is absolutely sensational! The property is so gorgeous and the staff went above and beyond from the time of check in to the time of check out accommodating me! I could write a novel! Grand Hotel Tremezzo exceeding expectations of my stay! They made my birthday weekend the most unforgettable moment ever! When I come back to Lake Como, Grand Hotel Tremezzo is where I will be staying again.

There is nothing to not like. Trust me! :)

This hotel was everything we dreamed it would be and so much more. it is easy to see why it has been a favourite of the elite for decades, the food is exceptional, the staff are wonderful and the location is one of the most beautiful spots on the planet. I could go in forever about this wonderful hotel but it is truly a place that must be experienced in person as it is without a doubt amongst the worlds finest.

Breakfast variety and service; Pizza restaurant is very good! the views were amazing; especially the walk up to Bobo! the room is great but is smaller than I assumed from the pictures; the staff were super helpful. The location is great for visiting Bellagio and Varenna.

The bedroom needs more clothing storage like drawers. The night stand table could be replaced with a drawer side table to make it convenient for the guest. It's quite small. Need more outlets for phone charging next to the bedside. Bathroom also needs a shelf/table under the sink vanity. Not much room for toiletries.

I like the architecture, everything had history but was well kept, clean and felt so extravagant. The details the staff and team placed in everything made this place feel as though it was faultless and perfect

I loved everything I can’t fault anything

One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Perfect for our Pearl wedding anniversary treat. Staff attentive, room was beautiful, breakfast was superb and the 3 pools are perfect.

Our only disappointment was no kettle in the room and you had to pay for refreshments in the lounge. Everything was expensive but we did think tea and coffee should be available free of charge during the day, as other hotels we have stayed at. A concern was no one in the Spa pool area either each time we visited. No one on reception and we had to search for clean towels. We lost some shorts and had to go down 3 times before the cleaner found them.

They upgraded my room free of charge, since I booked a double room but was a bit too small for 2 adults and one 13 year old child.

Just some minor problems in the bathroom. There was a slight foul smell of drainage. One of the sinks tap was not functioning. I did not complain since they gave me a generous upgrade.

The view, breakfast, garden and swimming pool area were amazing! We had a very beautiful bathroom as well. Concierge team was really helpful and it was a pleasure to meet Youssef at breakfast every morning whom was really efficient and kind. There is also a nice gym and the tennis court is really great. We appreciated the musician every night at the bar.

We had a magical stay at the hotel but I have to say that the gastronomic restaurant « La Terrazza » was disappointing. Generally speaking, we expected better food at the restaurants (don’t worth the price sometimes). Decoration of the bedrooms is a bit outdated (weird spots and moldings that ruins a bit the charm of the place).

Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at Grand Tremezzo was pure magic—every moment felt like a dream come true. The extraordinary treatment and breathtaking views made it an unforgettable experience we'll cherish forever.
